The quality of the developed evaluation tool is tested and optimized based on the Rasch model. The measured sample data are processed and analyzed by winsteps software and SPSS software. 122 senior three students from different classes were evaluated by the developed logical reasoning literacy level evaluation tool with good reliability and validity. It was found that the overall logical reasoning skills of senior high school students was concentrated in Level II, and some students could reach Level III; there are obvious differences in the level of logical reasoning skills between the experimental class and the ordinary class. Penelitian dilakukan dengan penerapan deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket (skala Guttman) dan dokumentasi. Responden penelitian berjumlah 30 siswa. Dalam penelitian ini disusun perangkat pembelajaran : Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, Buku Panduan Guru dan Lembar Kerja Siswa. Selanjutnya menyusun instrumen tes essay dan lembar observasi siswa, sebelum instrumen tes digunakan terlebih dahulu di uji coba dan hasilnya digunakan untuk instrumen penelitian. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui 2 siklus sebelum diberikan tindakan terlebih dahulu diberikan diberikan tes diagnostik dengan kategori minimal cukup diperoleh 40,91%. Selanjutnya diberikan tes hasil belajar matematika siklus I adalah 77,27 meningkat menjadi 86,36 pada siklus II. Persentase akivitas aktif siswa meningkat,hal ini diperoleh dari rata-rata kadar aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sebesar 76% kemudian pada siklus II naik menjadi 85,28. Kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran siklus I dan siklus II termasuk dalam kategori ―Baik‖. The research method used is quasi-experimental. The population of this study were all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Padangsidimpuan. Sampling using simple random sampling. The sample is class VII-2 as the experimental class and class VII-1 as the control class. Data collection using a mathematical communication ability test sheet.The results showed (1) t_(count )= 3.56 and t_(table )= 1.67 or) t_(count ) > t_(table ) so that it can be concluded that students' mathematical communication skills are taught by cooperative learning model type gallery walk is higher than the mathematical communication ability of students who are taught by conventional learning models. The result of the research shows average of students’ mathematical communication ability 57.48 (average category) and average of students’ learning interest is 70.36 (good category). Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh motivasi dan minat belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar pada pokok bahasan persamaan liniear satu variabel. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah adalah siswa kelas VIII Ponpes Al-Yusufiyah, dengan jumlah kelas VIII sebanyak 7 kelas. Pada penelitian ini sampel diambil dari populasi dengan teknik ClusterRandom Sampling yaitu penelitinmengambil sampelnya berdasarkan daerah populasi yang telah ditetapkan. Jumlah sampel adalah 20 siswa.Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuisioner dan dokumentasi. Untuk analisis data akhir menggunakan Regresi Linier Sederhana. Kedua, mendeskripsikan penerapan Model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi pokok persamaan garis lurus di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Barumun. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindak Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII-1 yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan Model Problem Based Learning pada siklus I diperoleh dengan kategori minimal cukup yaitu sebesar 46,1% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 88,5%. Peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 42,4%. Dengan indikator pencapaian telah tercapai ≥ 80%. Kemudian untuk hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I diperoleh kadar aktivitas siswa sebesar 75,08% “Cukup” pada siklus II 87,27% “Baik”. Peningkatan yang terjadi dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 12,19%. Indikator pencapaian telah tercapai ≥ 80%.
