The method applied was a qualitative method with a natural setting, where the researcher conducted research in the field naturally which then produced several findings. First, the existence of prophetic learning included the values of humanization, liberation, and transcendence, which was the implementation of attitudes to solve students’ moral degradation problem. Second, fostering spiritual intelligence by embedding prophetic characters through memorizing Al-Qur’an. Third, the tahfidzul Qur’an process program used talqin, tasmi’ and muroja’ah methods. Fourth, supporting factors included: competent teachers in the field of tahfidz Al-Qur’an, adequate facilities and infrastructure, motivational support and appreciation from all stakeholders in the school environment and tahfidz graduation. Inhibiting factors included; there were students that were unable to read Al-Qur’an, some never recite at home, some were lack motivation from parents and students’ lack of concentration because they often play online games. Novelty was also found that one of the students was classified as an inclusive student, so the approach in the tahfidz Al-Qur’an program was different from other students. Tahfidz teachers at SMPN 1 Deket never discriminated against their students. Inclusive students needed special attention and approach to repeat their memorization. From the experience of teachers who taught were by using methods of Tikrarul Mahfudz, Kitabul Mahfudz, and Isati’amul Mahfudz methods.","PeriodicalId":168002,"journal":{"name":"Nazhruna: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127270864","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Meanwhile, Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia, as independent educational institutions, have basically implemented character education with their concepts. Islamic boarding schools are considered traditional institutions but still attract public interest. Among the advantages possessed by Islamic boarding schools so that they are in demand by the public is that they are considered to have advantages in terms of character education, this is evidenced by the application of the Islamic boarding school curriculum that is independent, not co-opted with any party including the government (Kemendikbudristek/Kemenag). Furthermore, this independent nature is also proven that every Islamic boarding school in Indonesia has a unique curriculum, different from one another. In general, the curriculum applied in Islamic boarding schools is through the study of classical books or better known as the yellow book. As a result, the development of character education models in Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia is based on integrated yellow book studies in the context of tafaqquh fiddiin and seeks to realize it in the form of daily practice with refraction and training accompanied by exemplary examples from teachers/ustadz/kyai.","PeriodicalId":168002,"journal":{"name":"Nazhruna: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131164207","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with research subjects consisting of principals, teachers, students, and parents. The results of the study revealed that students can be categorized into three, namely those who like (1) face-to-face learning, (2) online learning, and (3) offline and online learning. However, among the three categories, the highest number is found in students who do not like online learning. A phenomenon was found that revealed that parents were bored with online learning and were unable to guide their children to study at home. The inhibiting factors for teachers include students being less active in learning, the difficulty of finding the right method so that students do not get bored quickly, and student assessments using family accounts. Parental barriers consist of parents who cannot teach their children during online learning, taking turns using mobile phones with their children, and parents who are busy working. While the supporting factors are learning quota assistance, the availability of computer laboratories, and parents always coordinating with teachers. Online learning has been shown to have an impact on students' economic, social and psychological conditions.","PeriodicalId":168002,"journal":{"name":"Nazhruna: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134437754","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results of this study indicate that: (1) the implementation of authentic assessment on Akidah Akhlak subjects at MA Sabilal Muhtadin has not been carried out optimally, it can be seen from teachers who only provide assessments on cognitive aspects through written tests, while psychomotor aspects have not been carried out. As for the affective aspect, the teacher carried out observations but did not use instruments. (2) The dilemma of teachers in carrying out authentic assessments is caused by three main factors, namely minimal resources, the dogma of the KTSP assessment that is still strong, and the busy factor coupled with the shortening of offline learning time during the pandemic.
