The control algorithm implementation was done based on the dSPACE DS1104 prototyping board, on a comprehensive experimental stand. The use of the dSPACE board allowed the control system implementation in the Matlab Simulink environment, therefore convenient transition from the simulation studies to the experimental studies. The control model can be later compiled and converted to high level program code, for example, C, to be integrated in the control program of a microcontroller based industrial equipment.","PeriodicalId":150282,"journal":{"name":"2022 22nd International Symposium on Electrical Apparatus and Technologies (SIELA)","volume":"176 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121278069","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In some cases, non-homogeneity can be approximated as vertical homogeneous cylindrical domain. Such non-homogeneities are various tubes, wells or pillar foundation. In this paper, the procedure for modeling of soil non-homogeneity as multilayered cylindrical domain is presented. The approach is based on using the Method of Moments and Green's function, applicable for analysis of grounding electrodes placed in the surrounding soil. Within that, particular procedure for grounding electrode formed of finite number of wires is described. It has been applied on problem of vertical electrode in the vicinity of well having concrete cylindrical shell.","PeriodicalId":150282,"journal":{"name":"2022 22nd International Symposium on Electrical Apparatus and Technologies (SIELA)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116421760","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These harmonics have detrimental effects on other loads that are connected to the same power supply. An efficient and high-performance solution to significantly reduce the current harmonic distortion is the use of shunt active power filters. The voltage on the DC-side of the active filter significantly affects the filtering performance. In this paper, the influence of the DC-voltage on the harmonic compensation result is investigated. The presented results are obtained by simulation using the MATLAB – SIMULINK software.","PeriodicalId":150282,"journal":{"name":"2022 22nd International Symposium on Electrical Apparatus and Technologies (SIELA)","volume":"142 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115796021","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The optimization of statistical parameters of these state estimators can be done by covariance matching algorithms and appropriate objective (cost) functions. The proposed cost function has predictive behavior, based on some tuning parameters, which control the quality of wave filtering. The designed layered anti- reflective coating has tunable parameters, tailored depending on dielectric properties of the body that would be covered by it. The designed coating structure is built as a stratified sequence of parallel layers. A model accurately describing the reflection and transmission of the entire composite material stack, which includes the surface underneath to be cloaked, is developed for all angles of incidence, and for both “p” and “s” polarizations. Additionally, a generalized model, accounting for desired or unintended dielectric anisotropy of the anti-reflective coating is described. Based on the proposed model, specific practical solutions were developed separately for two surfaces - reinforced concrete, and aluminum oxide ceramic. The dielectric constants of these materials with military significance are taken as described in the literature, and the anti-reflective coating's parameters, suitable for the two specific surfaces are found.","PeriodicalId":150282,"journal":{"name":"2022 22nd International Symposium on Electrical Apparatus and Technologies (SIELA)","volume":"61 10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129308940","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
