Abstract

The aim of this paper is the implementation of the field oriented control for a drive system with induction motor and voltage inverter. The control algorithm implementation was done based on the dSPACE DS1104 prototyping board, on a comprehensive experimental stand. The use of the dSPACE board allowed the control system implementation in the Matlab Simulink environment, therefore convenient transition from the simulation studies to the experimental studies. The control model can be later compiled and converted to high level program code, for example, C, to be integrated in the control program of a microcontroller based industrial equipment.
