Real-time information feedback can improve traffic flow with existing facilities. This paper proposes a real-time information feedback strategy named improved mean number feedback strategy. Based on a two-route scenario, simulation results show that the strategy is much more effective in different length of roads or in different percentage of dynamic vehicles than the old strategies, i.e., congestion coefficient feedback strategy and mean velocity feedback strategy.","PeriodicalId":147180,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2013 IEEE International Conference on Service Operations and Logistics, and Informatics","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124484817","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has promising application prospect in such areas as urban traffic control, highway toll system etc. In this paper, by analyzing the video sequence obtained from the fixed-camera, the vehicle movements of each road lane, such as left turn, go straight, turn right, are detected by using telescopic virtual coil, and then the vehicle motion detection and vehicle presence detection are used to calculate the vehicle queue length. On this basis, the vehicle queue detection algorithms are improved, and their threshold values are modified in the paper correspondently. And, the DM642 platform is designed to implement the real-time detection of vehicle queue length on the crossroads. Application experiments prove that the solution can detect the vehicle queue length with high precision, and the detection results meet the accuracy and stability requirements of practical application.","PeriodicalId":147180,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2013 IEEE International Conference on Service Operations and Logistics, and Informatics","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114402793","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Under this background, we present a heuristic implementation of urban emergency traffic evacuation in this paper. Firstly, we refer to a popular evacuation demand generation model to generate the evacuation demand. When solving the path selection problem, the heuristic search method is used. We take Dijkstra shortest path and current road condition as two parts of the evaluation function to evaluate different choices and choose the best one. To simulate the dynamic process of evacuation, we developed a position update algorithm to update the positions of traffic participants. The mathematical analysis method and computer simulation are combined to determine the final evacuation route of a traffic participant. This combination is effective since it takes advantages of both methods and avoids the shortcomings at the same time.","PeriodicalId":147180,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2013 IEEE International Conference on Service Operations and Logistics, and Informatics","volume":"42-43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114890853","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

And many process management products are developed based on or imitates to it, such as IBM Business Process Manager, Websphere Business Modeler, etc. On the other hand, SAP Solution Manager (SSM) provides its own process management tool to create/update/remove SAP process which is workflow of SAP transaction, program, etc. And SAP transaction and program and so on are the key components of SAP ERP system. First of all, SSM is much tidy than BPEL and it follows part of BPEL specification in other words. Secondly, SAP exposes special Web services for third-party software to integrate SAP process. The above two reasons make it possible to integrate SSM with the products which follow the BPEL specification. After that, the BPEL products will be able to support the capacities to manage SAP processes. That would bring huge benefits for the companies who are involved in selling software and designing mobile solutions with the BPEL products for clients with a strong SAP adoption base. So it has extremely high research value. This paper describes the methods to synchronize BPEL process model and SSM process model, including exporting BPEL to SSM, updating/importing SSM to BPEL, viewing synchronization report, etc. It purposes the model comparison algorithm, and the design of SSM model. Not only that, we also take care of the performance of the comparison algorithm based on the web services provided by SSM.","PeriodicalId":147180,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2013 IEEE International Conference on Service Operations and Logistics, and Informatics","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129706323","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Keyword spotting has many applications. One of them is emergency voice alarm systems, like command control and smart monitoring ATM etc. This paper presents a sensitive keyword spotting system applied to voice alarm occasions. By sensitive keyword retrieval, emergency warning systems can automatically monitor and follow up the situation, find the crisis occurs, and then give the alarm. Automatically retrieving and tracking for the particular occasion can not only save a lot of manpower and material resources, but is also more efficient. In this paper, as to optimize the striking process against the military target system, in which there are relationships between different targets and each target having the capability to recover from the damage, the structure and the recovering mechanism of the target system is modeled. In order to generate a multi-phase striking planning which can destroy the target system efficiently, the Markov Decision Process based planning method is proposed, and a heuristic is calculated to reduce the search space of the problem. Efficiency of the model is showed by a case, which shows that commander can raise their decision efficiency by this method.","PeriodicalId":147180,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2013 IEEE International Conference on Service Operations and Logistics, and Informatics","volume":"88 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131327930","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
