The study targeted 6 legal officers, 4 land surveyors, 12 property officers and 5 valuation officers drawn from the various departments of the Authority and the 80 tenants with active disputes with KRC. The sample involved 21 KRC staff: 5 legal officers, 3 land surveyors, 9 property officers, 4 valuation officers and 63 tenants with active disputes with Kenya Railways Corporation. The study used proportionate random sampling to involve 84 respondents. The study used primary data which was collected using questionnaire. Quantitative data both descriptive and inferential statistics was analyzed using SPSS version 28. The findings were presented using frequency tables and graphs. The findings indicated the various aspects of early assessment positively influences resolving public property management disputes. These aspects include the control costs by narrowing the scope of review, streamlines of workflows, reduction of data volumes, early risk identification and analysis and enhanced ability to evaluate potential end-game solutions. The study recommends that technical staff involved in land matters to be trained in ADR mechanisms through capacity building and exchange programs. This will enhance their skills in practicing ADR mechanisms that positively influences resolving public property management","PeriodicalId":14431,"journal":{"name":"International journal of scientific and research publications","volume":"21 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139242171","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It emphasises the significant barrier that gender inequality in politics poses, the challenges that female candidates face within political parties, and the implications for the legitimacy of elections in these two democratic systems. In addition, it investigates the barriers to achieving gender representation in the context of electoral legitimacy. A comparative analysis is conducted to determine the similarities and differences between the electoral legitimacy of the two countries. Utilising a secondary qualitative research methodology, the current study relies on various secondary sources, such as peer-reviewed academic papers and official government reports meticulously compiled from credible academic databases. The study's findings indicate that India's emphasis on electoral autonomy and technological progress has increased public confidence. In contrast, Nigeria needs help to maintain the independence and openness of its electoral commission. The study suggests a series of measures that should be prioritised to strengthen the legitimacy of electoral procedures.","PeriodicalId":14431,"journal":{"name":"International journal of scientific and research publications","volume":"7 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139242420","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For so long, people have treated words as mere labels for objects, and languages as different ways to string words together to convey thoughts, feelings, and concepts. But language is more than that. Because of it, we can exchange complex thoughts and ideas with one another, whether it be spoken aloud or written in ink. It’s also through language that we’re able to trigger emotions, imagination, and action. There are more than 7,000 that exist today! And all these languages differ from one another in all kinds of ways; they all have different sounds, vocabularies, and structures. Speaking, writing and reading are integral to everyday life, where language is the primary tool for expression and communication. Studying how people use language - what words and phrases they unconsciously choose and combine - can help us better understand ourselves and why we behave the way we do.","PeriodicalId":14431,"journal":{"name":"International journal of scientific and research publications","volume":"2008 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139239363","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result, the banking sector has become one of those that is most dependent on consumer markets adopting new technology. By removing distance and time restrictions, the modern mobile revolution has not only made it possible for individuals to connect with one another globally but has also greatly improved the lives of many by giving them access to basic financial services through phone-based money storage and transfer. The revolution sparked by higher technological advancements has led to an abnormally high rate of global adoption for mobile banking services. The purpose of the study was to examine the association between customer satisfaction and mobile banking usage among university students in Mombasa County, Kenya. There are three main objectives of the study: to establish a relationship between student attitudes, mobile banking usage, and customer satisfaction among university students in Mombasa County, Kenya; to establish a relationship between technology proficiency, mobile banking usage, and customer satisfaction among university students in Mombasa County, Kenya; and to investigate a relationship between mobile banking service quality and customer satisfaction. The researcher relied on the financial intermediation theory, current economic theory, and innovation diffusions theory to achieve the objectives of this study. In order to understand how student attitudes, technological aptitude, the quality of the mobile banking service, and the usability of the product influence the use of mobile banking and customer satisfaction among university students in Mombasa County, Kenya, this study employed an explanatory research methodology. In order to determine the nature and intensity of a cause-and-effect relationship between the variables, explanatory research designs involve analyzing two or more variables. Students from colleges' satellite campuses in Mombasa County would make up the target group. Students from the 10 universities in Mombasa County made up the majority of the target audience. The study will choose 99-year-old students at satellite campuses dispersed throughout the colleges in Mombasa County. The Yamane (1967) method was used to estimate the results at a 95% confidence level (0.10 level of significance). The university students in Mombasa County were surveyed using standardized questionnaires in order to collect data. The questionnaires' closed-ended questions identified both independent and dependent variables, and they were graded on a Likert scale from 1 to 5 to quantify the information. The six main categories into which the survey was divided include demographic information, student attitudes, technological aptitude, and the standard of mobile banking services, product usability, and customer happiness. With the aid of IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows, Version 23.0, the obtained data was edited, cleaned, coded, and analyzed","PeriodicalId":14431,"journal":{"name":"International journal of scientific and research publications","volume":"193 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139241720","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
