Until now, Diarrhea disease is still a global health problem, especially in developing countries. The magnitude of the problem can be seen from the high morbidity and mortality rates due to diarrhea. WHO estimates that 1.7 billion cases of childhood diarrhea occurred in the world, in 2019 as many as 525,000 children under five died from diarrhea. Banjar Regency is an area that is passed by many rivers, especially the Martapura and Barito Rivers, and according to the 2018 Riskesdas data, Banjar Regency has the highest diarrhea prevalence with diarrhea prevalence in Banjar Regency exceeding 25.35%. This study aims to examine the model of diarrhea transmission in children in the mainland and river areas of Banjar District, South Kalimantan. This study used an analytic observational design with a cross sectional approach. The results showed that there were risk factors for diarrhea in children in the mainland area were knowledge and hand washing behavior (p < 0.05). And in the riverbank area the variables associated with the riverbank area are education, knowledge, hand washing behavior, water availability, and type of latrine (p < 0.05)","PeriodicalId":14431,"journal":{"name":"International journal of scientific and research publications","volume":"55 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139242161","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Target of this study is to assess influence of school administration on English language acquisition in public secondary schools in Rwanda, Gasabo secondary schools. This research was supported with Theory of Jean Piaget child’s language development, Theory of Chomsky on children’s language development, social learning theory and didactic learning theory. The researcher used descriptive research design for data collections. The participants were students, teachers, Head teacher, deputy head teachers in charges of discipline and studies. The Yamane formula was used to calculate the sample size of 253 respondents from 690 of total population. The participants were chosen by using different methods where researcher used random sampling and purposive sampling. Researcher used questionnaire and interview guide as data collection instruments where questionnaire was designed to students and teachers and interview guide used designed for schools’ heads and deputy school heads in charge of disciplines and studies. Researcher used SPSS 22.0 in analysis procedure. Findings reveled that school administration were highly related with English language acquisition in public secondary schools therefore The Pearson correlation coefficient (r) of 0.946, with a p-value of 0.000 for a two-tailed test, indicates a strong positive correlation between the variables and statistically significant means that the well addressed school administration practices enhance English language acquisition and all variables are coherent with the English language acquisitions skills affected with different school administration practices as it is indicated by the regression analysis model with square of 0.894 means that the school administration practices were appreciated to enhance English language acquisitions skills. It is advisable for the government to establish a policy regarding the use of the English language in both public and private educational institutions. Depending on its degree of extension, it can lead to severe organ failure, which may explain its high mortality rate. Cardiac involvement during tuberculosis miliaria worsens the prognosis of these patients. This localization remains rare, and most often results in pericarditis with pericardial effusion, while fulminant myocarditis is extremely rare. Anti-bacillary treatment is a therapeutic emergency. Cardiocirculatory resuscitation of the associated hemodynamic instability is similar to that of any state of cardiogenic shock, and calls for vasoactive and positive inotropic amines after adequate filling. The role of corticosteroid therapy is still under discussion. Prognosis depends on the degree of organ failure, the presence of severe malnutrition, tolerance of antibacillary treatment and the existence of resistant or non-resistant strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis.","PeriodicalId":14431,"journal":{"name":"International journal of scientific and research publications","volume":"322 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139240298","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
