ICT integration in mathematics teaching and learning continues to assist mathematics instructors in the global requirement to replace the traditional mathematics teaching and learning method. ICT is considered one of the main elements in transforming and developing the education sector in China. China has invested much in using ICT tools and facilities and training its teachers to be equipped with the 21 st -century demands of effective teachers. For the study, the researchers used survey questionnaires designed and distributed to 70 middle school mathematics students and 13 mathematics teachers from 3 public middle schools in Shaoxing City, China. The data analysis included frequencies, percentages, and means to find answers to all the study's research questions. The findings indicated that integrating ICT into mathematics instruction significantly impacts teachers and their students. The findings also indicated that Chinese middle school mathematics teachers have the knowledge and skills to integrate ICT into lesson planning and teaching. Chinese middle school mathematics classrooms also have well-equipped ICT facilities for mathematics lessons, which are vital in enhancing students' understanding and performance in mathematics. Specifically, the study aimed to determine the profile of the BEEd students, the level of challenges encountered by the participants in traveling to and from the university, and the extent of initiatives to counter the challenges met in commuting. The study employed a quantitative research design. Frequency counts, percentages, weighted mean, independent samples test, one-way analysis of variance ANOVA, and Pearson product-moment correlation were used in the study. Results revealed that the participants had a moderately extensive level of challenges. The participants were spending too much on fare due to the distance of their house to the university which resulted in hardly budgeting their allowance, experiencing tardiness due to weather conditions, being afraid to travel at night, and feeling nauseous due to traffic and pollution. In addition, the study highlighted the students’ extent of initiatives to counter those challenges in commuting in terms of expenses incurred and waiting time spent, weather conditions, availability of transport vehicles, and traffic and pollution. Their initiatives include waiting for the right route of vehicles, bringing an umbrella in bad weather conditions, and traveling early. The participants’ level of challenges and extent of initiatives in commuting vary according to their sex, year level, travel distance, and commute duration. Furthermore, there is a significant relationship between the student commuters’ level of challenges and the extent of initiatives in commuting. Thus, the students need to be responsible to counter the challenges met in commuting to and from the university. The experiment included two crops per year, rice (July–November) and wheat (December-April), with twelve treatments arranged in a randomized complete block design and three replications. As a continuity of the research, wheat was sown at Parwanipur during year 2021 and 2022 in an individual plot size of 6m length and 4 m width maintaining rows at 25 cm apart with seed rate of 120 kilograms per hectare (kg/ha). Early maturity of wheat crop was observed in treatment applied with 100:30:30 NPK kg/ha with residual ZnSO 4 from rice crop. Similarly, the same treatment applied with 100:30:30 NPK kg/ha with residual ZnSO 4 from rice crop resulted the highest yield among the treatments followed by the treatment consisting addition of 50 kg N per hectare on rice and residual FYM with 100:30:30 NPK kg/ha in both year of wheat cultivation. Diverse strategies have been employed to enhance community participation in the planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of community-driven development initiatives. In Kenya, County governments are constitutionally mandated to facilitate people's engagement in local development and governance. Since their establishment, these County governments have established local governance structures and mechanisms for community members to engage in development projects and programs. However, in Kenya, these participatory local governance structures and avenues have not been extensively researched. This study aims to assess the influence of the management committee in community-led monitoring of a borehole water project in Bura Sub-County, Tana River County, Kenya, focusing on three key objectives: evaluating the impact of the management committee on gender equality, assessing their role in leveraging local knowledge, and examining their influence on the development of local community capacity. The theoretical framework guiding this research is the theory of participation proposed by Reed et al. (2018), which identifies four critical factors for successful stakeholder engagement: context, design, power, and scale of the engagement.
