For range and bearing primary measurements network geometry plays a significant role in the resultant positioning accuracy, regardless of time (TOA) and angle (AOA) of arrival secondary processing technique. Existing approaches for positioning system topology search in terrestrial cellular networks utilize geometric dilution of precision (GDOP) minimization under certain conditions, satisfying application requirements. Drawback of existing approaches, yielding tractable analytical results, is that they predominantly have assumption of 2-dimensional (2D) AP distribution according to regular hexagonal grid, square lattice or Poisson point process (PPP). If for previous 2G-4G cellular networks it is justified, for 5G UDN these assumptions do not retain. According to latest 3GPP specifications, enhanced positioning service area should provide sub-meter 3D UE location estimation in horizontal and vertical planes. The contribution of current research is a simulation model for 5G UDN positioning system topology search using well known in Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) horizontal (HDOP), vertical (VDOP) and position (PDOP) dilution of precision (DOP) criterion. Simulation results reveal, that fixed AP number topology, achieving DOP criterion in horizontal plane, does not provide satisfying DOP in vertical one.","PeriodicalId":141827,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Photonics (EExPolytech)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126606825","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Instead of ℓ0-norm optimization, much attention is paid to ℓ1-norm problem formulation due to its computability at comparable accuracy. Iteratively reweighted ℓ1 (IRL1) minimization is known to be an improved algorithm of typical ℓ1-norm criterion. In this work, an alternative enhancement of the IRL1-norm criterion is presented. The proposed method invokes a descending sort of the absolute values of all elements in the solution and updates the nonzero indices in each iteration without any additional matrix factorization and matrix inverse. Numerical examples illustrate that for a large number of nonzero elements in the data the proposed nonzero index update can help the IRL1 minimization to perform noticeably better.","PeriodicalId":141827,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Photonics (EExPolytech)","volume":"362 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132791384","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To reduce heat dissipation in radio transmitters, switched mode power amplifiers (PAs) can be used, the efficiency of which is as high as 95-98%. However, the high level of higher harmonics is a problem of such PAs. To reduce them to the required value, a staged voltage can be used. In this case, attention must be paid to the angle coordinates of the voltage stages. It is shown that even their insignificant deviations caused by different values of the transistor parameters significantly increase the level of higher harmonics. To solve this problem, a predistortion of control pulses should be implemented using a neural network. The results of experiments confirm the possibility to reduce the level of the 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 7th harmonics in a three-stage voltage by 30…40 dB to the required level of minus 60 dB.","PeriodicalId":141827,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Photonics (EExPolytech)","volume":"189 4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114142320","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Spectral analysis is effective for measuring all these parameters. In the case of measurement of a small number of harmonics, it seems effective to use the Goertzel transducer for solving this problem. The paper considers the methodological errors in the measurement of reactive power parameters associated with the deviation of the signal frequency from its nominal value. An approach is proposed to reduce the error, based on the adjustment of the number of processed samples to the value of the input signal frequency. Expressions are obtained that make it possible to estimate the measurement errors of all three reactive power parameters. The options for the implementation of the Goertzel transducer for solving the specified problem are considered. A separate implementation option is presented, based on adjusting the number of samples to the frequency value. The influence of the instrumental error components of the voltage and current measurement channels (additive, multiplicative, nonlinearity, quantization) on the measurement errors of the reactive power parameters is considered. A simulation model of the measurement transducer is performed in Matlab/Simulink.","PeriodicalId":141827,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Photonics (EExPolytech)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116705179","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper explores the classification of metal objects placed between routers at a distance of 1 meter. In the future, this can be used as an additional means of control in narrow door openings. Based on the CSI amplitude values, feature spaces are calculated, which contain concentrated information about the classified objects. Feature spaces plots are shown. The result of the classification of physical Wi-Fi objects using the Random Forest algorithm was 83% using raw amplitude CSI values. The present work reports on ion beam synthesized SERS substrates. Thin films of Au were deposited on quartz substrate using ion beam sputtering. The films were further irradiated by 1.36 MeV Xe ions to a fluence of 1015 and 1016 ion/cm2. Rutherford Backscattering (RBS) was performed for Au thin film deposited on quartz to evaluate the Au content. Thickness of the film was found to be -- 7.8nm by RBS. The FESEM was performed for pristine and irradiated samples which revealed the formation of separated distinguishable Au nanoparticles in irradiated samples. The UV-Visible spectroscopy was carried out for pristine and irradiated materials which indicated surface plasmon resonance due to the formation of Au nanoparticles after ion irradiation. The assessment of SERS was performed on High Resolution Raman using 10−4M di-nitro salicylic acid (DNSA) as a model analyte, which has a similar chemical structure to the commonly found explosives. The presence of NO2group and aromatic ring stretching vibration were observed on the irradiated sample which were otherwise not observed on the pristine sample. Hence, this demonstrated ion beam synthesis of SERS substrate.","PeriodicalId":141827,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Photonics (EExPolytech)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132408763","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
