Some particular cases require specific network performances. In this article, several complex industrial scenarios are considered. The iron and steel plants, power plants, hospitals, test and research laboratories have some limits to radio frequency wireless networks implementation. The paper suggests a hybrid solution, combining radio frequency and optical wireless communication technologies. Balancing advantages and disadvantages of the technologies, the flexible solution is able to satisfy the demands of mentioned scenarios. Challenges in the Organization of a Wireless Network in Complex Industrial Scenario
