Wireless Finger-Piece Sensor for Liver Function Assessment

Abstract

In modern medicine the contrast colorant clearance test is applied to evaluate liver function. We develop in vivo method for colorant concentration measurement. In previous papers we described a wired infrared sensor, providing full data set of the ICG concentration dynamics measurement to the doctor. Now we present the scheme and results of the wireless device implementation, which can be even lighter and easier to attach to the patient.
