Due to decreased cell-mediated immunity, immunocompromised\u0000patients have a 20-fold increased risk for HZ, occurring at low CD4 count with atypical manifestations. A 49-year-old male had HZ on the right\u0000ank with extension to back, erythematous nodules, and plaques arranged in a dermatomal pattern extending from the left angle of mouth to the\u0000left temple for two days with pain and fever. Biopsy from the nodule showed acanthosis, intraepidermal vesiculation caused due to ballooning\u0000degeneration at the base of the vesicle and neutrophils in the dermis s/o HZ. HIV and HBsAG were reactive. Simultaneous reactivation of VZV in\u0000multiple noncontiguous dermatomes requires an immunocompromised milieu, also immunosuppressed patients have atypical presentations.\u0000Such patients should undergo a complete immune status evaluation.

In this study we want to explore the perspective\u0000of new generation doctors about the relevance of clinics in present day medical practice. The objecti OBJECTIVES: ve of the study was to\u0000investigate the causes of the dominance of technology over the basic clinical skills in present day medical practice and to nd out the perceived\u0000solutions of this problem. This study was performed among resident doctors of different clinical bran Materials And Methods: ches working in a\u0000tertiary health care centre of Eastern India. The study comprised of in-depth interviews and focussed group discussions. The interviews were\u0000audio recorded and later transcripted. Data analysis was done through deductive approach. Results were reviewed by all the authors. The Results:\u0000overdependence on technologies among the new generation doctors are nothing but the reection of changing socioeconomic trends in modern\u0000day world. The principal causes are hyposkillia of doctors, commercialization of medical practice, pressure from patient's side, overuse of google\u0000knowledge & excessive misuse of legal means in the name of consumer protection act. Problem is multifactorial and a combined and sustained\u0000effort is needed for the solution. Lack of clinical skill leads to overdependence on technologies, t Conclusion: hat translates into excessive high\u0000treatment cost and poor patient outcome. A cross sectional\u0000survey was conducted on 100 plastic industry workers by administering the Cornell Musculoskeletal Discomfort\u0000Questionnaire (CMDQ) to quantify the musculoskeletal pain. Additionally, a self-designed questionnaire was given out to gather data on the\u0000different musculoskeletal issues that the employees experienced, risk factors associated with their jobs, different postures they maintained, and\u0000daily activities they engaged in. In the 41 to 50 age group, lower back (19.3%) and knee (22.9%) discomfort are particularly prominent and awkward postures were\u0000highly associated with musculoskeletal disorders. The most often affected body part was the knee, w Conclusion: - hich was followed by the\u0000lower back, foot, and shoulder.
