Therefore, the creativity of the teacher is manifested by evaluating the multiple resources and adapting or adopting them based on the contextualized learning situation including individual differences, styles and learners needs. It is also essential for the teacher to integrate the four macro skills in teaching language in order to make the students more communicative and collaborative. Hence, this paper presents the evaluation of the language teaching resources before and during applying them to the classroom contexts. The data were collected by document review and interview with the secondary school teacher. The data were analyzed qualitatively through interactive model. There is variation of the results based on the techniques of data collection. The interview shows that theoretically the teacher is creative to make the materials for students. Meanwhile, the document review findings show that there is a need of improvement on the way to evaluate and use the English materials based on the context. Finally, in evaluating the textbooks in order to adopt or adapt by adding or removing some materials to make English textbooks match with students’ contexts. \u0000Keywords evaluation, adapting, adopting, macro skills, English language teaching.","PeriodicalId":135017,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Education Method and Learning Strategy","volume":"11 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138974624","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The data analysis used is quantitative descriptive. The data obtained from the results of implementing the questionnaire is quantitative data. The results of the study showed that 5 students (36%) had never bullied at school in the previous year's bullying behavior at school. Meanwhile, 9 students (64%) had carried out bullying with a relatively low frequency. Victims of bullying in the previous year reached 64% consisting of 4 male students and 5 female students. The recommendations of this research are: 1) schools should be proactive by creating programs for teaching social skills, problem solving, conflict management and character education. 2) Teachers should monitor changes in students' attitudes and behavior inside and outside the classroom; and there needs to be harmonious cooperation between guidance and counseling teachers, subject teachers, as well as school staff and employees. 3) Parents should collaborate with the school to achieve maximum educational goals without bullying between students at school.","PeriodicalId":135017,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Education Method and Learning Strategy","volume":"12 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139004229","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research uses the Behavioral finance theory approach. The type of research chosen is quantitative descriptive method. The data collected for this study came from questionnaires distributed using purposive sampling method. A total of 100 respondents were undergraduate accounting students studying in Bandung in 2018 and 2019. Data analysis methods include multiple linear regression and IBM SPSS version 25. The results showed that the quality of financial learning and financial self-efficacy partially had a significant effect on financial management behavior, while locus of control had no significant effect on financial management behavior. However, simultaneously the quality of financial learning, financial self-efficacy, and locus of control have a significant effect on the financial management behavior of accounting students in Bandung City. It can be concluded that locus of control cannot influence students' financial management behavior without other variables or factors such as the quality of financial learning and financial self-efficacy.","PeriodicalId":135017,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Education Method and Learning Strategy","volume":"20 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135366710","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Higher education institutions as school partners need to conduct research and develop school programs that are relevant to the wetland environment. This research aims to determine the level of effectiveness of the '‘BANGKIT’' school program which is an acronym for Moral, Religious, Numeracy & Literacy, Environmental Care Movement, Collaboration, Information & Technology which is a reference for developing elementary school level school programs in the wetland environment of South Kalimantan. This research used the Research and Development method, the research subjects were 191 elementary school students in South Kalimantan, Indonesia. The research results show that the '‘BANGKIT’' program has proven to be significantly effective in increasing students' moral, religious, numeracy, literacy, ecological, collaboration and technology mastery competencies in wetland environments. The results of this research are supported by the results of the mean difference test using the paired sample t-test method with the help of SPSS software which shows a significance value that is smaller than 0.05 (0.05>0.000), the t-test value is greater than the t-table (2.337> 0.67667), and the posttest mean score was higher than the pretest (137.15>135.05). The level of increase if calculated using the N-Gain method shows a result of 0.312, which means there is an increase in the moderate category.","PeriodicalId":135017,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Education Method and Learning Strategy","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136077956","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
