This research explored the role of SDL aptitude within a selected Chinese university, analyzing its relationship with student engagement and academic performance. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the study found a significant positive correlation between SDL aptitude and both academic outcomes and engagement levels. Furthermore, qualitative findings emphasized the influence of cultural contexts, particularly Confucian learning traditions, in shaping SDL practices. While the results advocate for the enhancement of SDL-oriented environments in higher education, the study's focus on a singular institution underlines the need for caution in broader application. Before conducting employee training, Microsoft first investigates the specifics of the company and the actual problems that employees need to solve in their jobs. Microsoft uses the 70-20-10 principle and a new employee training program consisting of a television series and games. The paper also analyses the problem of knowledge concealment in the employee training process, particularly in the context of Microsoft's mentorship system. Microsoft's employee training system is in line with relevant theories and models, and these practices have contributed greatly to Microsoft's growth. However, with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the increasing number of business activities requires fast and effective training methods. Microsoft needs to consider a training program with a short payback period and use digital technology to mimic real-life data in real-time. In each tourist attraction, there are a large number of Chinese-English bilingual introductory text, which are the information carriers to show the international image of the city, and have the characteristics of simplicity, formality, and clarity. However, from the current translation of the introductory text, the problem of mistranslation is very common, which not only fails to play the role of cultural dissemination, but also misleads the public and has a negative impact of a city. The texts in this paper are all obtained from the field study of 47 A-level scenic spots in Guangyuan. Disregarding the idol's rightful owner, the fan community, led by opinion leaders, self-righteously and continuously impacted the social order, and the fandom formed an ideological system similar to that of a religion, and the mechanism of the traditional secondary communication theory in the fandom seemed to be alienated due to the usurpation of the discourse power by the opinion leaders. The purpose of this study is to further explore the similarity between the ideology and religious system of the current fandom in China, and to supplement the secondary communication theory and establish a new model based on the alienation phenomenon of opinion leaders overstepping the power of the main lord in the circle mechanism of the rice circle. Based on the questionnaire survey of fan groups, it can be verified that the ideology of the fandom is similar to the religious system and the opinion leaders do overstep the power of the main lord, but the main lord is not hollowed out. ChatGPT has the potential to transform traditional translation teaching models, effectively assisting personalized teaching, promoting students’ autonomous learning, constructing new teaching subject relationships, innovating teaching management models, promoting the transformation of knowledge production methods, and expanding the research space of translation education and teaching. At the same time, the application of ChatGPT also poses potential risks, such as weakening learning autonomy, alienating teaching subject relationships, damaging academic integrity, triggering knowledge security risks, ethical risks, and ideological risks. In order to address challenges and fully leverage the potential of ChatGPT in translation teaching, it is necessary to innovate teaching models, reform teaching processes, enhance students’ self-learning abilities, strengthen translation ethics education and ideological risk education, and enhance the digital literacy of teachers and students. The new artificial intelligence represented by ChatGPT has strong teaching potential as a “human like teacher”, but it cannot replace the human factors in education and teaching, thus cannot change the essence of education. Based on the relevant theories of second language acquisition, the interviews and observation records were qualitatively analysed, and the characteristics of Chinese international students' implementation of language learning strategies in a multilingual environment and the related influences were explored. The findings suggest that language learning strategy behaviour is a dynamic process of continuous interaction between the learning context and individual learners, reflecting individual variability and uncertainty. International students need to weigh the relationship between Portuguese and English learning strategies, and to complement each other's strengths in order to improve their learning strategies. Through changes in learning perspectives, constructivist education emphasizes the interactive co-construction of students with society, other students, and knowledge. Students' active participation and independent learning are one of the core elements of constructivist education. Then, three specific aspects of constructivist educational applications are proposed: classroom organization and participation, practical case studies, and effective integration of technological tools and resources. Furthermore, this study extends its utility beyond the borders of the United States. The insights and recommendations presented in this paper can serve as an important blueprint in an era where populist sentiments are becoming increasingly prevalent across the globe. Countries around the world can develop strategies to mitigate potential threats and challenges as they grapple with similar populist tendencies.
