Cuando con los resultados de un examen clinico objetivo estructurado (ECOE) se decide sobre la futura competencia profesional de estudiantes de medicina, la fiabilidad de dicha prueba debe adecuarse a esta finalidad. Objetivo. Calcular la fiabilidad (alfa de Cronbach) de una serie de ECOE y su relacion con la duracion, numero de participantes, estaciones, items y evaluadores. Sujetos y metodos. Se analizan 14 ECOE realizados a 2.995 estudiantes de cuarto y quinto curso de la Facultad de Medicina de Granada desde 2004 a 2013. Resultados. La fiabilidad fue ≥ 0,70 en el 92,84% de los ECOE. Tambien fue significativamente ≥ 0,70 cuando la duracion total fue ≥ 60 minutos (p = 0,042), el numero de estaciones ≥ 10 (p = 0019), el numero de items ≥ 50 (p = 0,018) y el numero de evaluadores ≥ 6 (p = 0,018). No se observaron diferencias con el numero de estudiantes ni con las opciones al item utilizadas. Conclusiones. Los ECOE cuyos resultados se utilicen para aprobar asignaturas de la carrera de medicina deben tener una fiabilidad ≥ 0,70. Para alcanzar dicha fiabilidad o mayor, el formato debe constar de al menos 10 estaciones, durar ≥ 60 minutos, tener ≥ 50 items y ≥ 6 evaluadores. EnglishIntroduction. When the future professional competence of medical students is decided based on results of an objective structured clinical examination (OSCE), the reliability of this test should be adequate to this purpose. Aim. To calculate the reliability (Cronbach’s alpha) of each one of OSCEs we performed and its relationship with the duration, number of participants, stations, items and evaluators. Subjects and methods. Fourteen OSCE tests performed to 2995 medical students of 4th and 5th year of the Faculty of Medicine of Granada between 2004 to 2013 were analyzed. Results. The reliability was ≥ 0.70 in 92.84% of the OSCEs. It was also significant ≥ 0.70 with a total duration ≥ 60 minutes (p = 0.042), and a number of stations ≥ 10 ( p = 0.019), a number of items ≥ 50 (p = 0.018) and a number of evaluators ≥ 6 (p = 0.018). No differences with the number of students, neither with the options to the item were observed. Conclusions. For a greater performance in the learning of Biostatistics thinking about the future doctors, it is crucial the analysis of the self-effi cacy experienced by the medical student during the training in this subject in Degree. To evaluate the improvement of students’ knowledge, skills, and satisfaction in a course on dispensation service. \u0000Material and methods. Design: quasi-experimental study (before/after) with educational intervention. Participants: Pontevedra community pharmacists. Seven editions (October 2018-October 2019). Educational intervention: hybrid-learning course 26-hour e-learning + 6-hour workshop with case simulations and training by role-playing. Assessment: the first two levels of Kirkpatrik were evaluated: reaction (satisfaction) and competence (knowledge/clinical performance). Questionnaire with 20 questions and 4 case studies. A Likert-type questionnaire with 12 questions was used to assess satisfaction. Qualitative data are expressed as percentages and quantitative data are expressed as average (SD). \u0000Results. 114 students, 78% female, 39 years (average age), 77% relief pharmacists. Knowledge: average percentage of correct questionnaire answers per participant at the beginning 44.5% (SD-14.1%), at the end 69.3% (SD-16.8%), (p < 0,0001). Case-study results: average percentage of correct answers increased from 73.2% (SD-9.8%) at the beginning to 85.6% (SD-7.0%) at the end (p < 0.0001). Satisfaction: average satisfaction rating of 3.5/4 (SD-0.12); equivalent to 87.2% (SD-3.1%). Best-rated question: ‘The knowledge level of the subject taught by the speakers was good’: 3.7. Less \u0000valued: ‘The conditions of the premises and audiovisual material seemed suitable to me’: 3.3. \u0000Conclusions. Se evaluaron 1.059 alumnos de anatomia en examenes por multiple opcion de 180 preguntas en una doble hoja de respuestas simultaneas, una sin penalizacion y otra con penalizacion para respuestas erroneas. Resultados y conclusion. La comparacion entre resultados de ambas hojas pone en evidencia las respuestas en convencimiento y en incertidumbre-azar que el mismo evaluado reconoce en una suerte de autoevaluacion. EnglishAim. To compare the results obtained in multiple choice exams with and without penalty for errors. Subjects and methods. 1059 students of anatomy were evaluated in exams by multiple choice of 180 questions in double sheets of simultaneous answers, one without and another with a penalty for erroneous answers. Results and conclusion. Actualmente, las universidades espanolas fomentan politicas de igualdad de genero, entre ellas la Universi-tat Pompeu Fabra. Las autoridades educativas de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud y de la Vida de dicha universidad es-taban interesadas en conocer si el resultado academico de sus egresados era similar entre hombres y mujeres. Objetivo. Para conseguir la meta anterior, se planteo un estudio con todas las personas egresadas en la licenciatura de biologia, primera titulacion que se implanto en la facultad y que tenia una orientacion biosanitaria. Sujetos y metodos. Se registraron las calificaciones de todos los egresados de las diez promociones de la licenciatura refe-rentes al expediente final y a cinco asignaturas con caracteristicas cognitivas diferentes: anatomia, fisiologia, genetica, bioinformatica y bioetica. Resultados. Los resultados en todas las variables estudiadas fueron similares entre hombres y mujeres, no existiendo ninguna diferencia significativa. Conclusiones. Los resultados se valoraron positivamente ya que, al haber igualdad entre sexos, no se considero que fue-ran necesarias medidas especiales respecto al tema estudiado para fomentar la igualdad. EnglishIntroduction. Currently, Spanish universities promote policies of gender equality, including the Pompeu Fabra University. The educational authorities of the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences of this university were interested in knowing if the academic result of their graduates was similar between men and women. Aim. To achieve the above goal, a study was planned with all the people graduated from the Biology degree, the first degree that was implemented in the faculty and that had a bio sanitary orientation. Subjects and methods. The qualifications of all the graduates of the 10 undergraduate promotions in the final file and five subjects with different cognitive characteristics were recorded: anatomy, physiology, genetics, bioinformatics and bioethics. Results. The results in all the variables studied were similar between men and women, with no significant differences. Conclusions.
