Nucleus hardness, cumulative dissipated energy (CDE), best corrected visual acuity (BCVA), corneal endothelial cell density, calculate corneal endothelial cell loss rates, surgically induced astigmatism (SIA), and complications were recorded. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Results \u0000The BCVA of femtosecond group at 1 week, 1 month and 3 months after operation were better than that in traditional group. For grade III nucleus, the corneal endothelial cell loss rates at 1 month and 3 months after operation of femtosecond group were lower than that in traditional group (P <0.05), for grade IV nucleus, there was no significant difference between the two groups. For grade III nucleus, the CDE value in femtosecond group was reduced by 47.6% than the CDE value in traditional group. For grade IV nu-cleus, the CDE value in femtosecond group was larger than that in traditional group, but there was no significant difference. The SIA value in femtosecond group was less than that in traditional group(P <0.05). \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Conclusions \u0000The postoperative visual acuity of femtosecond laser-assisted phacoemulsification is better than that in traditional phacoemulsification. Femtosecond laser-assisted phacoemulsification led to less surgically induced astigmatism. For grade III nucleus cataract patients, femtosecond laser-assisted phacoemulsification can reduce ultrasonic emulsification energy and lower the injury of corneal endothelial cell. For grade Ⅳ nucleus cataract patients, there is no significant difference in the CDE value and the corneal endothelial cell loss rate between the two operation methods. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Key words: \u0000Femtosecond laser; Cataract; Phacoemulsification; Corneal endothelium

Gender, age, course, extubation time and curative effect were recorded. Statistics were used to analyze the relevant factors. The final data using Mann-Whitney rank test or Spearman correlation test. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Results \u0000After postoperative follow-up 6~12 months, 139 cases (152 eyes) in patients with chronic dacryocystitis cured 130 eyes (85.5%), improvement in 8 eyes (5.3%), invalid 14 eyes (9.2%), the total effective rate was 90.8%. Sixteen eyes treated with inner limiting membrane peeling with vitreous cutting operation and vitreous was filled with room air. Patients were asked to sleep in prone position. Macular hole was observed by OCT during the 6-14 months’ follow up. The best corrected visual acuity, hole closure rate, the degree of visual distortion before and after surgery and complications during and after operation were recorded to discuss clinical significance and value about traumatic macular hole after room air tamponade. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Results \u0000Spontaneous closure of traumatic macular hole was 2 eyes. At the end of the follow up, vision of 15 eyes in 16 eyes improved. The rate of visual acuity improvement was 93.8%. Vision of 12 eyes in 16 eyes improved 2 lines (75.0%). OCT confirmed that macular holes in 13 eyes (81.25%) were completely closed in one month post-operation, and relapse didn’t appear in the follow-up. The mean prone posturing period was 3.5±0.4 days. The degree of visual distortion reduced significantly. All patients’ surgery was successfully completed, no serious intraoperative and postoperative complications. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Conclusions \u0000Inner limiting membrane peeling with vitreous cutting operation may effectively treat traumatic macular hole and improve the best corrected visual acuity. The dry eye features of keratoconus were analyzed. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Methods \u0000Case-control study of 35 cases (44 eyes) of keratoconus were selected and divided into mild keratoconus 19 eyes, 15 cases with moderate keratoconus and 10 eyes with severe keratoconus according to Amsler-Krumeich grading method. Forty-four cases (44 eyes) as a normal corneal group. The dry eye characteristics were measured by the Keratograph dry eye comprehensive analyzer: First noninvasive tear break up time (NIBUT), mean NIBUT, tear river height, ocular index and meibomian gland absent area. And each patient was scored using the ocular surface disease index (OSDI) questionnaire. Using the T test, Wilcoxon rank sum test, variance analysis, Kruskal-Wallis H test. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Results \u0000OSDI score of keratoconus group (40.96 ± 8.15) and normal cornea group (17.98 ± 5.50), the difference was statistically significant (t=10.864, P 0.05). There was no significant difference in the area of keratoconjunctival gland between different stages (F=1.555, P=0.226). \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Conclusions \u0000The study parameters indicate that keratoconus patients suffer greater symptoms and signs of dry eye, the difference of dry eye at different stages of keratoconus is significant. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Key words: \u0000Dry eye; Keratoconus; Dry eye comprehensive analyzer
