In the study, 40 male Sprague-Dawley rats, with weights between 240 g and 260 g, were randomly divided into sham-operated group, model group, and Glytan group according to their weights. Each group was observed at two time points, namely, two and four weeks after PHT. Common bile duct ligation was carried out on rats to induce PHT. The portal pressure of each group was measured, and the expression of nAchR a7 in the liver was detected by Western blotting at each time point. Results showed that the portal pressure and the expression of nAchRa7 in the model group increased significantly at two and four weeks after PHT. The portal pressure of the Glytan group was decreased compared to the model group, especially at four weeks after PHT. The expression of nAchRa7 in the liver of the Glytan group decreased significantly at four weeks after PHT. It is concluded that the change of portal pressure and the expression of nAchRa7 in the model and Glytan groups is consistent with the time sequence. In TCM theory, there are many descriptions regarding the multiple aspects of medicines. However, they seem still scattered compared to the formulae theories. In this article, the association-rule mining method was applied to discover the meaningful associations with reference to the structure of a crude drug-pair. Standard and enhanced Apriori algorithms were applied and run on the crude drug-pair database, including 625 drug pairs, 347 drugs, and 49 properties. It is the reflection of natural healthy principle of “correspondence between man and universe,” the concept of holism of “body-soul unity,” the idea of “prevention treatment of disease” that prevention is more important than therapy and the methodology of treatment combined with rehabilitation through care, rest, and nourishment and treatment focusing on relieving both the secondary and primary symptoms. In this system, its core values are a healthy attitude (<em>Yang xin</em>). Everyone should first determine his or her own appropriate ecological niche well, which is the best way to promote healthy and harmonious development. The core connotation of Ecocare is the balance of body ecosystem that is to achieve a relative balance between yin and yang of human tissue, organ, physiology, and psychology by removing the disadvantageous factors, replenishing the advantageous ones, and adjusting the body functions. Based on Si wu tang (SWT) and blood deficiency (BD), three BD animal models were induced by <sup>60</sup>Co irradiation, cyclophospha- mide, or chronic bleeding. Factors such as circulating blood cells, the ability of colony-forming unit of bone marrow cells, CD34<sup>+</sup> count, cell cycle, and apoptosis play important roles in the pathogenesis and development of BD. Based on pharmacology mechanism research on the entire body, tissue, cell and molecular level, polysaccharide, paeoniflorin, tetramethylpyrazine, and ferulic acid were found to be hematopoietic constituents of SWT. Selecting steroidal saponins as the subject, the selective hydrolysis of glycosyl residues, glycosylation of molecules, and the modification of their aglycone were systematically studied by biotechnology in this work. Some active microorganisms were screened, several specific enzymes were purified, and their substrate specificities and transformed regularities were summarized. These results lay a better foundation for determining the key core of the active components, specifically modifying their structures, constructing the focused library with the structural diversity, and manufacturing some new drug candidates which are rare in herbs. The metabonomic characteristics and the micromolecular marking compound, which are closely related to the pathogenesis of PMS liver-Qi invasion cases, are also investigated. PMS liver-Qi invasion cases are calibrated according to the diagnostic criteria, including criteria, and excluding criteria. The urine samples from PMS liver-Qi invasion patients are analyzed at different times using UPLC-Q-TOF in combination with PCA pattern analysis, followed by discrimination of the metabolic outline and searching for the possible biological tags and metabolic pathways. The metabolic outline of premenstrual urine samples has significant difference among the control group, the PMS liver-Qi invasion group, and the PMS liver-Qi invasion treatment group. The metabolic outline of premenstrual urine sample of the PMS liver-Qi invasion group diverges from the premenstrual and postmenstrual urine samples of the control group and the postmenstrual urine sample of the PMS liver-Qi invasion group. Compared with the control group, N-acetyl-2-glutamate-5-semialdehyde has decreased greatly in the N-acetyl-2-glutamate-5-semialdehyde liver-Qi invasion group, and histidine and 3-methoxy-4-hydroxymandelaldehyde have increased significantly. This research, for the first time, deals with the metabolic pattern differences between the control group and the administration group. It shows that JG may repair metabolic disturbance of endogenous micromolecules in PMS liver-Qi invasion cases in terms of metabonomics.
