Wilayah yang memiliki populasi sapi perah berada di Kecamatan Cepogo. Berdasarkan mutasi anggota KUD Cepogo tidak semua anggota KUD aktif dalam unit usaha susu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi anggota terhadap unit usaha susu KUD Cepogo, menganalisis faktor-faktor pembentuk persepsi terhadap unit usaha susu KUD Cepogo, dan menganalisis pengaruh antara faktor-faktor pembentuk persepsi terhadap unit usaha susu KUD Cepogo. Analisis data menggunakan Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 67% anggota memiliki persepsi yang baik terhadap unit usaha KUD Cepogo. Faktor-faktor pembentuk persepsi anggota terhadap unit usaha susu KUD Cepogo meliputi: pendidikan formal, pendidikan non formal, pengalaman, pendapatan, dan motivasi. Faktor-faktor pembentuk persepsi secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap persepsi anggota unit usaha susu KUD Cepogo. Produksi gula mengalami stagnasi sejak tahun 1994, ditandai dengan produksi yang menurun sementara permintaan terus bergerak naik. Sementara itu, impor gula terus dilakukan dan cenderung meningkat seiring dengan permintaan yang terus bertambah. Artikel ini menganalisis kompleksitas persoalan yang mengakibatkan berbagai dinamika dalam agroindustri gula terutama stagnasi produksi gula nasional. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis sistem berdasarkan data sekunder dan literatur mengenai berbagai indikator yang terkait dengan agroindustri gula. Hasil pembahasan menunjukan bahwa dinamika agroindustri gula Indonesia yang cenderung mengalami kemunduran diakibatkan oleh inefisensi usahatani tebu, inefisiensi usaha pabrik gula/PG, dan distorsi oleh pasar gula internasional. Inefisiensi usahatani tebu berdampak langsung kepada inefisiensi PG dalam rantai agroindustri gula. Sementara itu, persoalan kompetisi penggunaan lahan antara tanaman padi dan tebu secara tidak langsung berimplikasi kepada inefisiensi PG. Inefisiensi agroindustri gula kemudian menjadi lebih kompleks dengan adanya distorsi harga gula di pasar internasional yang menjatuhkan harga gula dunia. Guna mengatasi dinamika persoalan di atasm pengembangan industri tebu sebaiknya dilakukan oleh pihak swasta dengan mengoptimalkan lahan pertanian di luar Jawa.Kata Kunci: tebu, analisis sistem, impor gula, usahatani, hargaAbstractSugar agroindustry has an important and strategic role for Indonesia since from the Dutch colonial era until present. Sugar production has been stagnating since 1994, indicated by decreasing production while demand continues to rise. Meanwhile, sugar import continues and tended increasing in line with growing demand. This article analyses the problems complexity of that have resulted various dynamics in sugar agroindustry, especially the stagnation of national sugar production. The method used is a systems analysis approach which based on secondary data and literature review on various indicators related to sugar agroindustry. The result show that the dynamics of Indonesia's sugar agroindustry which tends to decline caused by inefficiency in sugarcane farming, inefficiency of sugar factories/PG, and distortion by the international sugar market. Inefficiency in sugarcane farming has a direct impact on the inefficiency of PG in the sugar agroindustry chain. Meanwhile, the issue of land use competition between rice and sugar cane, indirectly has implications for PG inefficiency. Sugar agroindustry inefficiency then became more complex with the distortion of sugar prices on the international market which dropped international sugar prices. Salah satu solusi permasalahan tersebut adalah sistem budidaya dengan hidroponik, namun diperlukan analisis terkait keuntungan yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan sistem ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan usaha hidroponik Delta Farm dengan pendekatan titik impas atau Break Even Point (BEP). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pengusaha pertanian yang menggunakan sistem hidroponik dalam membudidayakan tanaman, yakni Delta Farm. Pemilihan lokasi ini didasarkan secara purposive sampling dilihat lama usaha yang dijalankan karena Delta Farm merupakan perintis usahatani sayuran secara hidroponik di Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2020 di Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah penelusuran pustaka, observasi dan wawancara. Data yang digunakan merupakan data primer hasil wawancara dengan Ibu Fenny, S.T., S.Pd. selaku pemilik Delta Farm. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa usaha Delta Farm dalam budidaya sayuran hidroponik Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) skala kecil menguntungkan. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari jumlah produksi yang melebihi BEP produksi sebanyak 7,75 kg, tingkat harga yang melebihi BEP harga sebesar Rp 6.039,02/kg, dan penerimaan yang melebihi BEP penerimaan senilai Rp 542.680,09.Kata kunci: hidroponik, titik impasAbstractThe conversion of land functions causes a reduction in the planted area, so a solution is needed. One solution to this problem is a hydroponic cultivation system, but an analysis is needed regarding the benefits obtained by using this system. This study aims to determine Delta Farm's hydroponic business's feasibility using the break-even point (BEP) approach. This study's population was agricultural entrepreneurs who use hydroponic systems in cultivating plants, namely Delta Farm. The location selection is based on purposive sampling based on the length of time the business has been running because Delta Farm is a hydroponic vegetable farming pioneer in Makassar City. This research was conducted in October 2020 in Makassar, South Sulawesi. This study used a literature search, observation, and interviews for data collection. Primary data from interviews with Ms. Fenny, S.T., S.Pd. as the Delta Farm owner are used in this study. This study's findings indicate that Delta Farm's efforts in small-scale Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) hydroponic vegetable cultivation are profitable. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik survei. Pengambilan sampel dengan metode cluster random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 67 responden. Analisis data menggunakan Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas yaitu faktor ciri kelompok, faktor fungsi tugas, dan faktor luar kelompok. Efektivitas kelompok tani di Kecamatan Mojolaban termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Secara simultan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas kelompok tani. Secara parsial variabel faktor ciri kelompok dan faktor fungsi tugas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas kelompok tani, sedangkan variabel faktor luar kelompok tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas kelompok tani.Kata kunci: Efektivitas, Kelompok Tani, ProduktivitasAbstractThis study aims to analyze the factors that influence the effectiveness of farmer groups, analyze the effectiveness of farmer groups, and analyze the influence between factors that affect the effectiveness of farmer groups with the effectiveness of farmer groups. Research using quantitative research method with survey technique. Sampling by cluster random sampling method with the number of samples as many as 67 respondents. Data analysis using Multiple Linear Regression. The results showed that factors that influence effectiveness are group characteristics factors, task function factors, and factors outside the group. The effectiveness of farmer groups in Mojolaban sub-district is in a high category. Simultaneously the factors that influence the effectiveness have a significant effect on the effectiveness of farmer groups. Metodologi penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan metode hayami dan analisis biaya pokok. Hasil analisis rantai nilai menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keuntungan pada pedagang pengumpul sebesar Rp. 5.306 per kg, dan pada pedagang pengecer mencapai Rp. 10.806 per kg, sedangkan keuntungan petani Rp. 1.806 per kg. RC rasio yang dihasilkan yaitu 1,14 pada tingkat petani, 1,31 pada tingkat pedagang pengumpul dan 1,45 pada tingkat pedagang pengecer. Hasil analisis biaya pokok, penyimpanan dingin selama 3 bulan membutuhkan biaya sebesar Rp. 708,146 per kg. Nilai tersebut lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan penyimpanan konvensional sebesar Rp. 1.372  per kg. Berdasarkan wawancara mengenai prediksi harga 3 bulan ke depan dan nilai susut terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara penyimpanan konvensional dengan penyimpanan dingin. Keuntungan penyimpanan dingin lebih besar dari pada penyimpanan konvensional, yaitu Rp. 13.417 per kg selama penyimpanan 3 bulan sedangkan penyimpanan konvensional Rp. 3000 per kg. Peningkatan tersebut diperoleh dengan asumsi harga sebelum disimpan Rp. 22.250 per kg, dan  harga jual setelah disimpan Rp. 35.000 per kg.Kata Kunci: Rantai Nilai, Teknologi Penyimpanan Dingin AbstractThis study aims to analyze the value chain and assess the added value Soe tangerine products. The results of the value chain analysis show that the level of profit for the trader is IDR 5,306 per kg, and retailers reach IDR 10,806 per kg, while the farmers' profit is IDR 1,806 per kg. The resulting RC ratio is 1.14 at the farmer level, 1.31 at the collector trader level and 1.45 at the retailer trader level. The results of the analysis of basic costs, cold storage for 3 months requires a fee of IDR 708,146 per kg. This value is lower compared to conventional storage of IDR 1,372 per kg. Based on interviews regarding price predictions for the next 3 months and shrinkage values there is a significant difference between conventional storage and cold storage. The advantage of cold storage is greater than conventional storage, which is IDR 13,417 per kg for 3 months storage while conventional storage is IDR 3,000 per kg. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui deskripsi dari karakteristik konsumen dan hubungannya terhadap tingkat kepuasan dalam melakukan pembelian sayuran organik di Kota Medan. Desain penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan metode deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan sampel berukuran 90 responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan untuk analisis karakteristik konsumen adalah statistik deskriptif dan analisis hubungan antara karakteristik dengan tingkat kepuasan adalah crosstab dan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa deskripsi karakteristik konsumen berdasarkan jenis kelamin didominasi oleh  perempuan, berusia 31 sampai 40 tahun, berpendapatan antara 2.000.001 sampai 3.000.000 rupiah, lamanya menempuh pendidikan 16 tahun atau setara dengan S1 dan memiliki jumlah tanggungan keluarga sebanyak 2 orang. Sementara itu, hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terjadi hubungan yang signifikan antara pada variabel lamanya menempuh pendidikan dengan tingkat kepuasan konsumen dalam melakukan pembelian sayuran organik di Kota Medan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Industri Rumah Tangga UKM Griya Ketelaqu di Kelurahan Plalangan Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang. Metode yang penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif eksploratif  dengan melakukan observasi secara langsung, interview (wawancara)  dan studi pustaka yang berkaitan dengan tepung ubi ungu.  Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa UKM Griya Ketelaqu memiliki kemampuan mengolah ubi ungu menjadi produk tepung ubi ungu.  Selain olahan tepung ubi ungu UKM Griya Ketelaqu juga mengolah berbagai macam jenis tepung-tepungan seperti tepung umbi-umbian, tepung sayur-sayuran, tepung buah-buahan serta mengolah olahan dari ubi lainnya seperti timus, nugget, peyek tumpi dan singkong keju. Dalam setiap produksi UKM Griya Ketelaqu membutuhkan rata-rata 50 kg ubi ungu dan menghasilkan tepung ubi ungu 20 kg. Dengan demikian nilai rendemen tepung ubi ungu sebesar 40%. Keuntungan per bulan dari usaha produksi tepung ubi ungu oleh UKM Griya Ketelaqu  adalah   Rp. 905.000,- perbulan.. Tepung Ubi Ungu dapat menjadi alternatif diversifikasi pangan karena memiliki kemampuan menghasilkan beberapa produk pangan yang disukai oleh masyarakatKata Kunci: ubi ungu, diversifikasi, tepung, usaha kecil menengahAbstractThis paper aims to highlight the effort of purple sweet potatoes flour diversification beginning from the process of producing sweet potatoes flour from the preparation of raw  material, the process of making sweet potatoes  flour, the handling of the final product including packaging, storage, business analysis and marketing, the condition of the facilities and infrastructure used. The activity was carried out at the UKM (Small Medium Enterprise) Griya Ketelaqu Home Industry in Plalangan Village, Gunungpati District, Semarang. The method used is descriptive exploratory research by direct observation, interviews with the owner and literature studies relating to purple sweet potato flour. The results of the study concluded that UKM Griya Ketelaqu  had the ability to process purple sweet potatoes into purple sweet potato flour products. In addition to processed purple sweet potatoes flour UKM Griya Ketelaqu also processes various types of flour such as tuber flour, vegetable flour, fruit flour as well as processing processed from other sweet potatoes such as timus, nuggets, tofu and cassava cheese. Thus the yield of purple sweet potato flour by 40%. Perubahan iklim yang ekstrim juga menyebabkan tanaman cabai merah mengalami kerusakan. Akibatnya, produksi menurun sehingga harga produksi meningkat dan pendapatan petani menurun. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui keragaan usahatani cabai merah dan menganalisis pendapatan petaninya. Desain penelitian adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik survey terhadap 77 responden yang ditarik secara simple random sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan distribusi frekuensi dan analisis pendapatan serta rasio Revenue Cost (RC). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas petani di Desa Sukalaksana adalah petani gurem (berlahan sempit) yang berstatus pemilik.Rata-rata luas lahan garapan adalah 0,32 hektar. Budidaya cabai merah yang dilakukan petani berlahan sempit, sedang maupun luas melalui tahapan kegiatan yang sama dan menggunakan alat-alat pertanian yang sederhana. Tenaga kerja menggunakan buruh tani. Cabai dijual ke bandar dalam keadaan masih berwarna hijau dengan harga yang berfluktuasi setiap bulannya. Pendapatan petani berlahan sempit, sedang, dan luas per hektar per musim tanam masing-masing adalah Rp 15.750.817, Rp 43.092.359, Rp 49.091.756. Jadi, makin tinggi luas lahan, makin tinggi tingkat pendapatan petaninya. Berdasarkan analisis rasio RC, usahatani di semua kategori luas lahan adalah menguntungkan. Nilai R/C tertinggi dicapai oleh usahatani di lahan sedang yakni 2,4.Kata kunci: cabai merah, keragaan, usahatani, analisis pendapatanAbstractThe low productivity of red chili indicates that there is a serious problem in the cultivation aspect. In addition, extreme climate change also causes red chili plants to be damaged. As a result, production decreases so that the price of production increases and farmers' income decreases. This research was conducted to determine the performance of red chilli farming and analyze farmers' income. The research design was a quantitative method with a survey technique of 77 respondents drawn by simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using frequency distribution, income analysis and Revenue Cost (RC) ratios. The results showed the majority of farmers in Sukalaksana Village were smallholders (narrow land) who were the owners. The average area of land under cultivation was 0.32 hectares. Red chilli cultivation was carried out by farmers with narrow, medium and wide land through the same stages of activity using traditional tools. The labor used was laborers. Chili was sold to the wholesaler (‘bandar”) in green conditions with prices that fluctuate each month. The income of farmers who have narrow, medium and wide land per hectare per planting season was Rp. 15,750,817, Rp. 43,092,359, Rp. 49,091,756, respectively. So, the higher the area of land, the higher the level of farmer income. Based on the RC ratio, farming in all of categories of land area is profitable. Kelurahan Bintoro Kabupaten Jember merupakan salah satu daerah yang telah mengalami perubahan di dalam penggunaan lahan. Lahan yang menjadi kunci di dalam kegiatan pertanian telah mengalami penyempitan akibat pengalihfungsian lahan. Pengalihfungsian lahan ini menjadikan banyak para petani yang mengami keresahan berupa munculnya beberapa kesulitan di dalam menjalani kehidupannya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dengan teknik penentuan informan menggunakan purposive sampling. Hasil dari penelitian bahwa Modal sosial dalam keberlanjutan pertanian di tengah alih fungsi lahan di Kelurahan Bintoro terdiri dari beberapa kategori, yaitu kepercayaan (trust), norma (norm), dan jaringan (network). Kepercayaan sangat dibutuhkan untuk memberikan dorongan untuk saling memperkuat. Norma memberikan aturan di dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Jaringan menandakan kekuatan di dalam membangun sutau relasi. Bentuk konkrit dukungan modal sosial seperti terjalinnya hubungan harmonis di dalam kehidupan pertanian, tercipta rasa saling tolong menolong, berjalannya kegiatan pertanian, kemudahan di dalam memperoleh input atau fasilitas pertanian, dan beberapa bentuk lainnya. Berdasar kondisi tersebut kegiatan pertanian masih terus dapat berjalan karena dasar kehidupan masyarakat petani yang masih kokoh di dalam mempertahankan usaha pertanian mereka.Kata Kunci: alih fungsi lahan, modal sosial, pertanianAbstractLand use change is a problem of the agricultural sector, one of which occurred in Bintoro Village, Patrang District, Jember Regency. Land conversion has led to the concern of the farming community in Bintoro. Social capital is something that can support the sustainability of agriculture in the midst of land conversion. The purpose of this research is to study how social capital can support the sustainability of agriculture in the midst of land conversion in the Bintoro Village.This research method uses descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach with the technique of determining informants using purposive sampling. The results of the study that social capital in the sustainability of agriculture in the middle of land use change in Kelurahan Bintoro consists of several categories, namely trusts, norms, and networks. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai dengan Agustus  2019. Adapun populasinya yaitu pedagang cabai rawit, tomat, terasi, garam dan  bawang merah, serta petani cabai rawit di sentra produksi.  Penentuan besar sampel dilakukan secara sengaja sehingga penarikan sampel berdasarkan quota sampling, yaitu  masing-masing sebesar 30 orang. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen analisis regresi linier berganda dan pengujian hipotesisnya menggunaan  program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan faktor jumlah produk, harga bawang merah, harga tomat, harga terasi, harga garam, musim dan harga input berpengaruh terhadap anomali pasar cabai rawit di pasar kota Cirebon, sedangkan secara parsial faktor jumlah produk dan harga input yang berpengaruh.  Untuk itu disarankan adanya kebijakan percabaian yang dirumuskan oleh pemerintah Kota Cirebon berdasarkan faktor yang berpengaruh secara parsial tersebut. Kata kunci: anomali, cabai rawit, kebijakan.AbstractThis study aims to determine the factors that influence the anomaly of chili market in Cirebon City. The research method used is quantitative using survey approach techniques. The research location was determined intentionally, namely the Jagasatru People's Market, Kalitanjung Market and Kanoman Market. The study was conducted in January to August 2019. The population was traders of chili, tomatoes, shrimp paste, salt and shallots, as well as farmers of chili in the production center. Determination of the size of the sample is done deliberately so that the withdrawal of the sample is based on a quota sampling, which is 30 people each. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression analysis instruments, data processing using the SPSS program application and hypothesis testing using the F test and T test. The results showed that the simultaneous factor of the number of products, the price of shallot, the price of tomatoes, the price of shrimp paste, the price of salt, season and input prices affect the anomaly of the chili market in the Cirebon City market, while partially the number of products and input price factors influence.
