Methods: This study enrolled 600 women undergoing fresh embryos transfer (ET) cycles between June 2019 and December 2022. The patients were stratified into two groups, high-quality embryo group and low-quality embryo group. In both groups, the perinatal and obstetric outcomes were the primary outcomes. Moreover, we conducted a multi-variable logistic regression analysis, where additional possible confounding factors were controlled, to determine how diverse embryo qualities affected the primary outcomes. Results: The results showed that compared with the low-quality group, the high-quality group showed increased clinical pregnancy (63.33% vs 26.33%) as well as a higher number of live birth rates (52.67% vs 18.33%) (P<0.001). There were no statistically significant differences in unfavorable perinatal and obstetric outcomes between high- and low-quality groups (p>0.05). Similarly, the transfer of blastocysts developing from high-quality embryos led to increased clinical pregnancy rates (84.50% vs 48.05%, p<0.001) and live birth rates (74.64% vs 38.96%, p<0.001). Transfer of blastocysts developing from low-quality embryos did not impact the unfavorable perinatal or obstetric outcomes. The logistic regression analysis showed that low-quality could not increase the unfavorable perinatal or obstetric outcomes. Conclusion: In summary, low-quality ET does not increase the risk of unfavorable perinatal or obstetric outcomes. Overall, compared to low-quality embryos, the transfer of high-quality embryos increases the clinical pregnancy and live birth rates.","PeriodicalId":74678,"journal":{"name":"Research in health science","volume":"80 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140487421","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But as an invasive medical procedure, colonoscopy can lead to more severe pain in patients, and even cause intestinal inflation, resulting in patients with abdominal distension, intestinal spasms and other discomfort. Therefore, relieving the pain of patients during colonoscopy has become an important issue that medical staff must pay attention to. In this context, this paper carries out research, and uses five-tone therapy combined with acupressure diagnosis and treatment mode as an effective method to solve the pain problem of colonoscopy. Through analyzing its intervention process and implementation methods, the diagnosis and treatment effects are further analyzed.","PeriodicalId":74678,"journal":{"name":"Research in health science","volume":" 1165","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139617233","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The effectiveness of nurse-led educational interventions for glycemic control and self-care behaviors in patients with type 2 diabetes is unclear.Objective: To determine effectiveness of nurse-led educational intervention on glycemic control and self-care behaviors in patients with type 2 diabetes.Design: Mixed methods systematic review.Data Sources: A comprehensive search in Medline, CINAHL and Scopus was conducted in February 2023 to identify peer-reviewed papers published between 2003 and 2023.Review Methods: The review was guided by the Joanna Briggs Institute systematic review manual. Data were extracted and assessed by two evaluators using a standardized checklist. Due to the high level of heterogeneity between studies, the data were analyzed using Popay et al.'s (2006) conduct of narrative synthesis in systematic reviews.Results: Ten randomized controlled trials met the inclusion criteria. Studies described nurse-led educational interventions delivered either face-to-face or online. The outcomes of the educational interventions and the measurement tools used were diverse, with many studies reporting attrition. Most studies reported that nurse-led educational interventions improved outcomes for patients with type 2 diabetes.Conclusions: The evidence identifies that nurse-led educational interventions are effective for glycemic control and self-care behaviors in patients with type 2 diabetes. This review demonstrates evidence of approaches that could inform future practice and research to support all adult populations of patients with type 2 diabetes to improve glucose control and self-care behaviors. Future research would benefit from well-designed clinical trials that use common outcome measures to provide more information about the effectiveness as well as the sustainability of such interventions.","PeriodicalId":74678,"journal":{"name":"Research in health science","volume":"37 10","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138994226","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, a connection between GLP, one of the well-known H3K9 KMTs and the EZH2, one of the core members of PRC2, has not been established. Here we not only demonstrated that there was interaction between the GLP and the EZH2 proteins in vivo, but also provided evidence that the activity of EZH2 was effected by down-regulation of GLP. In light of these observations, western blotting, co-immunoprecipitation and qRT-PCR were performed to explore in GLP siRNA KGN cells. The specific interaction between GLP and EZH2 was demonstrated with co-immunoprecipitation. Our results also indicate that the decreased level of GLP participate in the modulation of EZH2 function in vivo.Taken together, our findings identified that an unanticipated interplay between the two histone lysine methyltransferases, which is implicated in regulating of a subset of developmental genes.","PeriodicalId":74678,"journal":{"name":"Research in health science","volume":"122 30","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138606857","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
