The activities of terrorism are carried out in various ways using suicide bombs, violent action that aimed to demoralize by creating fear to the society and national security. In Indonesia, according to Kompas news website recorded there were 10 suicide bombings occurred in the past 6 years and took many casualties in every event. With this, it certainly gives a threat to the people in Indonesia in terms of physical, moral and even in terms of national security \u0000  \u0000Methods: To overcome this problem, it is necessary to increase the national security so that terrorism can be prevented and it will not happen again. This study is aimed to conduct an exploratory data analysis and predict terrorist activity in Indonesia using K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), and k-fold cross-validation. In this research, data selection, data cleaning, data reduction were carried out and feature selectionprocess which aimed to find out the most influential data attributes. \u0000  \u0000Results:According to the analysis, the researcher proved the result using the K-NN algorithm independentlyis different from the result of K-NN algorithm testing which added the use of k-fold cross-validationin predicting terrorist activity in Indonesia. The evidenced of the result obtained by doing a comparison between the best value of k, found that value of k = 8 values is the best in this study by generating the value of accuracyusing k-fold cross-validationof 88.86%, recall73.69%, precision 74.44% and RMSE 0.333. The causes of chemical phlebitis are drugs that have acidic and alkaline pH, hypertonic infusion fluids and droplets that are too fast. \u0000  \u0000The purpose of this study was to determine nurses' knowledge about intravenous therapy with the incidence of plebitis. Pre-experimental descriptive analytical research method with one group pretest-posttest design with accidental sampling technique approach involving 89 nurses with career paths including PKI – PK IV. The variables studied were to find out the knowledge of nurses about plebitis in administering intravenous therapy at the Bandar Lampung Advent Hospital. With the pretest and posttest questionnaire.Statistical test using Paired T-test. \u0000  \u0000The results obtained before the seminar on PK I were 8.7 (80%) and after the seminar 9.43 (94%). The level of knowledge before the seminar on PK II was 7.92 (79%) and after the seminar 9.74 (97%). In PK III before the seminar the value was 7.97 (79%) and after the seminar 9.23 (92%). Whereas in PK IV before the seminar value 8.2 (83%) and after the seminar 9.47 (94%). Developing a mobile application that can be utilized to transmit incident type, location, and images among other details can provide assistance in emergency situations. \u0000 Methods: The software development method followed in this study was the prototyping model, where initial versions of the software were shown to the end users for it to be refined to their needs. The target users of the mobile application are a group of 38 Adventist motorcycle riders from Silang, Cavite, Philippines who are trained to be first responders. Interviews with end users and benchmarking on related systems were conducted to meet results. \u0000 Results: The end users’ feedback on the developed application can be summarized as having high accuracy, less prone to errors, and ease-of-use. Through Global Positioning Systems available on modern smart phones, reporting a specific incident location can be as accurate as within five meters. The report receiver can view the location in a map. Minimizing text entry and utilizing control elements not only improve reporting time but also reduce chances of committing errors. Further, the application can provide map location and contact information of the emergency facilities near the incident site. Reported information is also centrally stored for references to improve response processes. \u0000 Discussion: Once substantial data is gathered from this system, it can be data-mined to predict possible hotspots, peak times and other information on the occurrences of incidents. The consequences are in the form of the impact of financial, social and psychological pressure. Considering such consequences, families especially in Eastern cultures will continue to care for their elderly at home for reasons of compassion or retribution toward parents even though they feel frustrated and burdened. The purpose of this study is to describe the life experience of Seventh-day Adventist church member in caring for their parent who suffer from Alzheimer’s Dementia. \u0000Method: This qualitative study is using phenomenological design. There are 3 participants are selected who are fit with the inclusion criterions: immediate family member, seventh-day Adventist church member, live together with their Alzheimer’s Dementia parent who suffer at least 2 years of dementia, and agree to sign inform consent after the full explanation of the study. Data are gathered using semi structured face to face interview in participant’s home setting. Data than transcribed in to world document and analysed using Cresswel step by step content analysis. \u0000Result: There are five negative categories of family member experiences in taking care of their Alzheimer’s Dementia parent: 1) physical abuse, 2) psychological abuse, 3) social limitation, 4) spiritual distress, and 5) knowledge deficit. It also found that there are several coping mechanism or adaptation made by family member in caring their Alzheimer Dementia parent: 1) family members are motivated to learn more about Alzheimer Dementia, 2) spiritual growth that they pray more often and surrendered to God, 3) increase understanding toward elderly. \u0000Discussion:  Based on the result of the study, all the informants experienced pressures in all holistic aspects of life. If they are not able to cope with the pressure, illness may be arrived and made the family situation become worse. {"title":"Reasons of How Adventists Pioneers Accepted the Truth about Sabbath (1844-1863)","authors":"Yohanes Verdianto","doi":"10.35974/isc.v7i1.865","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35974/isc.v7i1.865","url":null,"abstract":"Introduction: Seventh-day Adventist Church (SDA) emerged as a denomination in the nineteenth century amid Sunday’s observance domination. The majority of the SDA pioneers are Sunday keepers. The seventh-day Sabbath was first brought to the Millerite Adventists by Rachel Oakes. She is a member of the Seventh-day Baptist who joined the Millerite Adventists. The first time the seventh-day Sabbath was introduced in Millerite Adventists, there was upheaval and conflict. But finally, a group of Sabbatarian Adventists was formed which kept the seventh-day Sabbath. This group finally became SDA Church. The purpose of this work is to find out what were the reasons for the Adventists pioneers to accept the Sabbath.  \u0000  \u0000Result: This paper argued that there were four reasons why Sabbatarian Adventists received the seventh-day Sabbath. First, the Sabbatarian Adventists kept the seventh-day Sabbath because of their investigation of the Bible, which led them to abandon Sunday observance and accepted the Sabbath. Second, one of the co-founders of the SDA, Ellen G. White, confirmed that the Sabbath is related to the temple in heaven, because the Ten Commandments, including the fourth commandment, still remains there and never been eliminated. Third, the pioneers of the SDA also found that there was a connection between the Sabbath and the three angels’ messages, in which the issue will be the worship of God and its closely related to the seventh-day Sabbath. Fourth, they saw that Sabbath was related to eschatology. In this understanding, they understood that Sabbath would still be observed in the new world.  \u0000  \u0000Method: This paper is a historical approach using documentary research method. For each reasons, researcher utilizes primary resources. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the tread (Catharanthus roseus L.) on the levels of ureum and creatinine in male wistar strain models of acute kidney failure. The object of the study were 30 male Wistar strain rats aged 2-3 months with a weight of 180-200 grams per rat. The study was divided into three groups, namely the treatment group, positive control group, and negative control group. Each group consisted of 10 male rats. Tread leaves taken as much as 5.2 grams are boiled in 300 cc of water until the remaining 100 cc of boiled water. The treatment group and positive control group induced gentamicin 12 mg intra peritoneal / rat / day for the second 7 days. The treatment group was given boiled water for as much as 3.6 cc / day orally for 7 days. Giving a gentamicin injection to damage the kidneys. Data collection on urea and creatinine levels was calculated using the SPSS program version 24 One Way ANOVA test to compare creatinine urea levels. The results showed that there were significant differences in creatinine urea levels between the treatment group and the positive control group (p <0.05). A cross-sectional survey designwas employed that utilized a correlational analysis. The sample size derived from theuniversity consisted of 133 respondents. Results indicated that there were no difference in thestudents‟ perception between procedural justice and academic dishonesty when compared bygender, program, class, or faculty. A weak positive relationship was found between students‟perception of procedural justice and academic dishonesty (n = 133, r=.27). This research paper is conducted, in the context of contemporary visual arts, with the purpose of contributing to the knowledge regarding escapism and the experiences of artists who resort to art as an escape. \u0000Methods: Using the narrative research design, the central research question is “How do personal experiences trigger a Fine Arts graduate artist to resort to art as an escape?”. A graduate of Fine Arts who personally considers art as an escape was the participant of the study. Data were gathered using semi-structured interviews, and analysed based on the narrative inquiry research framework by Connelly and Clandinin (1990). \u0000Results: The findings were categorised into the following three themes: (a) situation, (b) interaction, and (c) continuity. This research will contribute to the existing knowledge of escapism in the field of visual arts even in the local context. \u0000Discussion: Further research on the lives of contemporary artists and artisans is needed in the field of narrative inquiry.
