Such elements can be seen in feudal liberties, in various forms of church institutions, in the election of heads of universal powers (popes and emperors), in the practice of political formations and city corporations, and finally in the theory of separation of powers, which in the Middle Ages prescribed a combination of powers, and was later elaborated by Montesquieu and other thinkers. Ultimately, many of these ideas have survived to our time and are embodied in today’s experience.","PeriodicalId":51929,"journal":{"name":"Istoriya-Elektronnyi Nauchno-Obrazovatelnyi Zhurnal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136203740","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although, the methodological tools for developing a research paradigm in this direction began to take shape as early as the 70s—80s of the 20th century. This is largely due to the fact that, in the perception of the Russian historical community, the history of historical thought for quite a long time occupied a far from leading position in comparison with political, socio-economic history or the history of culture. This is quite understandable by the subject of her research, which, of course, is not basic in the structure of society, but, nevertheless, has a significant impact on its development, since one way or another, the attitude of the individual, society to the past determines the picture of world perception. Most of the categories that are used in the study of the history of historical knowledge (historical consciousness, time, development, etc.) are interdisciplinary in nature. Perhaps that is why the study of the history of historical consciousness in historiography was more often the occupation of philosophers who reflected on its problems, and not of historians themselves, who drew their conclusions on the basis of historical sources. Nevertheless, summarizing the historiographical situation in the study of this area of history, we can say that in the Western and Russian research traditions this topic arose quite early, is constantly in demand and is considered in various aspects. Turning to this topic, we will trace the history of the formation of scientific tools for studying texts as a social phenomenon on the example of the work of both domestic and foreign researchers.","PeriodicalId":51929,"journal":{"name":"Istoriya-Elektronnyi Nauchno-Obrazovatelnyi Zhurnal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136202010","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The substantial complex of the antiquarian text was written by the authors who were connected with the English local provincial communities by their origin, family connections or career. They defined a peripherical local community describing its precise territorial boundaries, taking it for the semantic center of the whole English kingdom. The local community was represented as the most perfect part of the whole English landscape, while its members were provided with all positive qualities.","PeriodicalId":51929,"journal":{"name":"Istoriya-Elektronnyi Nauchno-Obrazovatelnyi Zhurnal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136202028","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main stages of the struggle, marked by the approval of three electoral lists in 1382, 1391 and 1393, are also studied, allowing us to trace the decline of the Guelph party, which began from the moment of its triumph after the overthrow of the regime of the junior craft guilds, when the attempts of the Guelph party to assert its power over society and state failed though the ideas of Guelphism underlay the communal identity of the citizens of the republic. The price of the victory of the state was paid by the inevitable narrowing of the boundaries of Florentine democracy: the emergence of extraordinary authorities, the restriction of citizens’ access to electoral lists and the formation of tendencies of oligarchic rule.","PeriodicalId":51929,"journal":{"name":"Istoriya-Elektronnyi Nauchno-Obrazovatelnyi Zhurnal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136202290","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In turn, the active intervention of neocolonial powers in the processes of political development of liberated African states led to the preservation of old and the emergence of new causes and prerequisites for the frequent outbreak of armed conflicts and wars, as well as the aggravation of tribal and inter-confessional contradictions. One of the manifestations of neocolonialism, which poses a major threat to the security of African countries, has been the radicalization of Islam, the number of followers of which in Africa reaches 650 million, in a number of regions of the continent. The consequence and at the same time the cause of the rapid Islamization of Africa has been the emergence of provinces (vilayats) of the Islamic State (IS, banned in the Russian Federation), which have easily been gaining the support of the poorest Muslims, dissatisfied with policies of governments that resist neocolonial exploitation either feebly or not at all. The authors of the present paper focus on the factors and circumstances of the radicalization of Islam under the conditions of neocolonial dependence of African countries that have not been sufficiently studied to date.","PeriodicalId":51929,"journal":{"name":"Istoriya-Elektronnyi Nauchno-Obrazovatelnyi Zhurnal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136202295","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Volcanic eruptions accompany life on the island from the very moment of its settlement. According to scientists, more than two hundred eruptions have occurred in historical time, the most recent of which is the eruption of the Fagradalsfjall volcano, 40 km from Reykjavik, in August 2022. Iceland is the birthplace of unique medieval literature written down in the 12th and 13th centuries. The attention of scholas is drawn to the fact that in the most famous narrative genre of Old Icelandic literature, the so-called Íslendingasögur, or Family sagas, describing life on the island in the “Saga Age”, volcanoes are not mentioned at all. The analysis carried out in this paper of references to, or descriptions of, volcanic eruptions in Landnámabók, biskupa sögur, and Icelandic annals demonstrates that their presence or absence was regulated by the requirements of the genre.","PeriodicalId":51929,"journal":{"name":"Istoriya-Elektronnyi Nauchno-Obrazovatelnyi Zhurnal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136202467","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In Russian history, charity has been a widespread phenomenon and a phenomenon of public life. Charitable activities cover a wide range of social problems and represent an interinstitutional sphere of life. It does not have strict regulations, which is its advantage and provides significant flexibility, mobility, and the opportunity to increase the range of recipients of social assistance and support. Charity does not stand still and forms new forms of its implementation, and this helps it to remain an effective tool of social policy and social work. It comes from an inner awareness of belonging and empathy for another person in need of support. The social significance of charitable activities is to ensure public interests in the distribution of benefits to those in need and mutual assistance. In modern Russia, charity is a significant and important institution that continues the social policy of the state. The authors present the current state, the main causes, forms and types of charity. An innovative and promising form of modern charitable activity is volunteering and volunteerism, which are developing dynamically. Various online platforms for making donations are becoming common types of charitable activities. As the results of the author's sociological research have shown, charity is quite popular among the population: 89,5 % of the surveyed Russians have ever engaged in it. In general, the surveyed citizens have a positive image of charity in Russia. The majority of respondents, one way or another, have ever participated in charity and noted the possibility of participating in the future.","PeriodicalId":51929,"journal":{"name":"Istoriya-Elektronnyi Nauchno-Obrazovatelnyi Zhurnal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136202474","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problem of economic collaboration — cooperation between the owners and management staff of industrial and banking companies in occupied countries with concerns and economic departments of the Third Reich is a theme that has been increasingly studied by historians in the last decade. The main attention author paid to the analysis of the views of national historians, as well as researchers from the UK, the USA, the FRG and the GDR, whose works contributed to the intensification of the study of this topic in Norwegian and Danish historiographies.
