It's found that under the shadow of colonialism, conflicts become inevitable and pronounced. Even though, amid various conflicts, the colonized individuals with different races, religions, and identity backgrounds are not deeply entrenched in conflicts. Instead, they choose to struggle for survival, love and belief. The purpose of this paper is to explore how to construct an effective adult education system under the perspective of lifelong learning in order to improve individual quality and promote social progress. Firstly, this paper starts from the theoretical foundation of lifelong learning, explains its definition, characteristics and development history, and explores the far-reaching influence of Piaget's cognitive development theory, Bruner's discovery learning theory and Gagne's learning condition theory on adult education. By analysing the current situation of adult education, this paper reveals the major problems currently faced, including uneven distribution of educational resources, insufficient motivation for learning and a disconnect between curriculum and actual needs. In order to cope with these challenges, this paper proposes the principle of constructing a learner-centred education system, which emphasises the flexibility and adaptability of the education model. Specific implementation strategies include government policy support, promotion of diversified education models and comprehensive learner support services. This paper also demonstrates the experiences of Germany and South Korea in policy support, social synergy and education model innovation through successful case analyses at home and abroad, which provide useful reference for other countries and regions. Finally, the paper summarises the key points in building an adult education system and looks forward to future development trends, emphasising the impact of technological progress and globalisation on adult education. Overall, the theoretical framework and implementation strategies proposed in this paper provide a scientific basis and practical guidance for building an efficient, flexible and diversified adult education system. The new pattern of sports governance with governance sharing is conducive to test the scope of application and explanatory power of these theories. Studying the institutional changes in sports governance in Guizhou Province is crucial to enhance our understanding of the region’s sports ecosystem and promote the sustainable development of sports. This study supports inclusive and equitable sports development activities in Guizhou by addressing specific difficulties and possibilities in sports governance, stimulating positive change and increasing stakeholder participation. This study aims to provide important insights and suggestions for the specific situation of Guizhou Province through an in-depth literature review and empirical analysis. Its aim is to inspire decision-making and assist evidence-based decision-making in sport governance. First, the interactive relationship between mediatized education and social participation provides students with a wide range of learning opportunities and social participation platforms, and promotes the development of cross-cultural understanding and global awareness. Second, public media play an important role in educational equity by providing equal access to educational resources, facilitating information sharing and knowledge dissemination, guiding public opinion and policy advocacy, increasing participation and inclusiveness in education, and fostering media literacy and critical thinking. However, the realization of educational equity requires the support of educational policymakers and decision makers, media literacy education for educational institutions and teachers, and the attention and support of all sectors of society. In a Big Ideas-based Holistic Unit Teaching process, the inquiry of thematic meaning of a unit is literally the construction of big ideas. This thematic meaning is then closely connected with other sub-themes of each text by leading those subordinate discourses. The prominent role of this concept of association is in concordance with the relatability between new knowledge and cognitive structure in Ausubel’s Subsumption Theory. From the perspective of Meaningful Learning and Systematic Forgetting (Ausubel, 1968), more profound insights can be obtained regarding the underlying mechanism and practice strategies of BIHUTD. Through BIHUTD, meaningful learning can be achieved by building substantive association between thematic meaning and sub-themes of texts; long-term memory can be achieved by providing various meaningful texts and contexts related to both sub-themes and big theme; cognitive pruning can be achieved by incorporating specific and fragmented items and sub-themes in each text into the generalized thematic meaning of a whole unit.
