It aimed to figure out speech acts in Monroe’s Motivated Sequence in source text, translation techniques applied to render, and its impact on quality and shift of speech act. \u0000 \u0000Theoretical framework: Main theories employed in this research are speech act theory by Searle & Vandervekken (1985) and translation technique by Molina & Albir (2002). \u0000 \u0000Design/methodology/approach: This is qualitative descriptive research with a single embedded study case, collecting data purposively by applying the document analysis and FGD (Focus Group Discussion), and employing Spradley’s steps of data analysis about domain, taxonomy, componential, and cultural theme. \u0000 \u0000Findings: The research found some speech acts such as assertive, directive, and commissive spreading in each MMS. The successful translation is mostly caused by the application of equivalent established technique. Unsuccessful translation is caused by modulation technique because the translation cannot reach the equivalency of illocutionary effect, persuasive strategy, and mis-organizing persuasive text based on MMS. This research concluded that the translator’s decision in applying the translation techniques impacted on the shift of the speech acts which is in turn to influence the quality of translation especially on the accuracy. Therefore, it can be confirmed that the translation behaviour in term of translation techniques application and its impact on the quality of translation is the image of the translator’s competency. \u0000 \u0000Research, Practical & Social implications: Theoretically, this research showed that the translation skill can be supported by the understanding of pragmatics. Practically, this researched can help the translators to improve their skill in translating. \u0000 \u0000Originality/value: This is original research which is conducted by taking some source text (English version) of infographics about Covid-19 campaigns and their translation (Indonesian version). In addition, this study examined the moderating effect of consumer gender on the effect of information source type on advertising attitude, and the mediating effect of advertising attitude on the effect of type of information source on product attitude.\u0000 \u0000Theoretical framework: The Source effect refers to the degree to which consumers' message acceptance varies depending on the information source, that is, the properties of the advertising model. In general, representative properties that affect information source effectiveness include expertise, trustworthiness, and attractiveness. The Uncanny Valley theory is the theory that when humans see a non-human being, the more it resembles a human being, the more they feel favorable towards it, but when it reaches a certain level, they feel displeased with it.\u0000 \u0000Methodology: To test hypotheses, this study conducted an online and offline mixed survey, and a total of 410 questionnaires were used in the final analysis. To test validity and reliability of measurement tools, this study did factor analysis and reliability analysis. Hypotheses were tested with t-test and ANOVA analysis. To test mediating effects, it did mediating regression analysis.\u0000 \u0000Findings: The findings of data analysis were as follows. First, when the information source type was a virtual human, the level of information source properties was lower than when the information source type was a real human. When the information source type was a virtual human, expertise and trustworthiness were low, and there was no difference in attractiveness. Second, when the information source type was a virtual human, the attitude toward advertising was low. Third, the information source properties of the virtual human advertising model were confirmed to have a positive (+) effect on consumer advertising attitudes. Fourth, the information source properties of the virtual human advertising model were confirmed to have a positive effect on consumer product attitudes. Fifth, the impact of the type of information source on advertising attitude was found to be higher for male consumers than for female consumers, confirming that there is a moderating effect of consumer gender. Sixth, it was confirmed that advertising attitude has a positive effect on product attitude. Seventh, it was confirmed that the effect of information source type on product attitude was mediated by advertising attitude.\u0000 \u0000Research, Practical & Social implications: The results of this study suggest the following implications. This case study focuses on the KHG Kampar River – Gaung River and KHG Gaung River – Batangtuaka River in Riau Province. These locations were chosen due to their representation of peatland ecosystem restoration activities from 2017 to 2022.\u0000 \u0000Theoretical Review: Hajer and Wagenaar (2003: 33-37) explain in more detail that deliberative policy is an approach in the public decision-making process that focuses on deep discussion and reflection of various views and approaches before reaching a final decision. This approach involves the active participation of various stakeholders or citizens in decision-making. Collaborative policy dialogue is an alternative approach in policy-making that is becoming increasingly relevant in the Information Age due to technological changes and globalization.\u0000 \u0000Methods: Using a systematic qualitative methodology, this study adopts a descriptive approach to describe field phenomena.\u0000 \u0000Result and Discussion: This study identifies stakeholders, their involvement, and the impact of their collaboration and synergy. Stakeholder collaboration is crucial for addressing peatland ecosystem management issues in these areas. The collaborations include interactions between central and local governments (provincial and district), the government and the private sector, and the government and local communities.\u0000 \u0000Conclusion: Successful stakeholder collaboration has supported the region's sustainable development goals (SDGs). To fulfill the new requirements of quality, responsibility, and effectiveness of nurses' duties, they must continuously update their understanding, techniques, and developments associated with the profession. Most nurses recognize the need to update their knowledge, and the number of those investing in lifelong learning programs is steadily increasing. However, despite acknowledging the benefits of monitoring these programs, they seem dissatisfied with their quality and content.\u0000 \u0000Method: Two of the most widespread approaches, qualitative and quantitative, were applied. The qualitative approach involved 13 nurses serving in public health structures in Greece. The research tool used was a guide for semi-structured interviews, and the data was processed using the method of thematic analysis. The quantitative approach involved 203 nurses serving in public health structures in Greece.\u0000 \u0000Results and Discussion: According to a study, nurses who participated in lifelong learning programs reported high satisfaction levels regarding the benefits they gained from the courses they attended. However, the study also revealed issues with the organisation and content of the programs, as well as the integration of the new knowledge into their everyday nursing practice.\u0000 \u0000Research Implications: To attain a profound sense of satisfaction, the chosen courses must align with individual interests and offer opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in practical contexts. To enhance the overall understanding of fulfilment, the individuals responsible for designing lifelong learning programs should prioritise hands-on training for nurses based on the latest assimilated knowledge.\u0000 \u0000Originality/Value: This study contributes to assessing the applicability of continuing education in daily work practice.
