Many small types of research are conducted on the GNs to find out the popularity of it over textbooks by librarians, using it in the classroom to teach English as a second language amongst Chines elementary pupils, minor research to teach the German Language with GNs, teaching vocabulary with it and so on. With the help of available outcomes of these relevant researches on the topic, the present research paper focuses on and identifies the scope for the pedagogical implications of it in instruction in the present scenario. Along with language skills, GNs introduce a wide range of knowledge of assorted subjects leading to creativity. Language is the predominant part of the GNs to be studied however, the emerging potential skills with the use of it in academics, could be developed by sighting the objectives of the present NEP 2020. Cognitive development is also stimulated with the help of GNs. The creativity in students with GNs has a good scope for skill development. The technicality, organized story, the format, and the illustrations are some of the areas along with the language that attracts the students to it than traditional textbooks. Graphic Novels have never been considered a serious piece of literature but a format. Usage of it in the practical subjects may result in better learning and generating good taught students than that degree holders. According to NEP-2020, the education should be skill-based; considering this objective the GNs exhibit a great amount of scope in learning with efficiency. The study utilized a cross-sectional research design to achieve its objectives. The data collection instrument used was the Physical Child Abuse Questionnaire (PCAQ). The study took place in Igumale, Ado Local Government Area of Benue State. The survey included 800 secondary school students from six secondary schools in Igumale. There were 300 respondents in the sample. Three experts from the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, face validated the instrument. The instrument’s reliability was determined by testing the Spearman’s rank order correlation formula, resulting in a reliability coefficient of .842. The data from PCAQ copies was encoded and analyzed using IBM Statistical Package for Social Sciences (IBM-SPSS) version 22 for Windows. The research questions were answered using frequencies and percentages. 58.7 per cent of secondary school children in Igumale experienced physical child abuse. 60.0 per cent of secondary school students aged 10-14 experienced physical abuse, which is higher than the 56.9% of students aged 15-19. The percentage of male secondary school students who encountered physical abuse (60.5%) is greater than the percentage of female students who experienced physical abuse (57.3%). The percentage of physical abuse among parents with no formal education is 59.6%, primary education is 52.6%, secondary education is 76.9%, and tertiary education is 49.2%. Therefore, parents with secondary education have the highest rate of physical abuse. This study explores the correlation between Resilience, Emotional Reactivity, Positive Attachment, and Alienation among second-generation Indian-Australian teenagers. This study aims at finding correlation and gender differences in Resilience, Emotional Reactivity, Positive Attachment and Alienation among adolescents of Indian origin raised within Indian immigrated families residing in Australia. Total 180 adolescents of both Genders (Male N= 107, Female N= 73), were included in the study. ‘Resiliency Scales for Children and Adolescents (RSCA) by Sandra Prince-Embury (2006)’ and ‘Bell Relationship Inventory for Adolescents by Morris D Bell, PhD. (BRIA) 2005’ were the tools used. Pearson Correlation indicated that Resilience and Positive attachment are positively correlated. Alienation and Emotional reactivity were positively correlated, whereas negative correlation was found between Resilience and Alienation.
