Objectives: The research aimed to determine the effect of principal’s transformational leadership to solve learning loss problem. Methods: The population in this study was junior high school teachers in Bandar Lampung. This research used cluster random sampling with a total sample of 226 teachers. The data collection technique used a survey questionnaire with 5-points Lickert scale. The data were analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient. Findings: The results showed that each variable of transformational leadership could solve the learning loss problems with positive effects by 9,7%, while 90.3% was influenced by other unexamined variables. Conclusion: There was a positive effect of principal’s transformational leadership to solve learning loss problem. Keywords: principal’s transformational leadership, learning loss. Abstrak: Kepemimpinan Transformasional Pascapandemi Terhadap Learning Loss. Tujuan: Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah permasalahan learning loss. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap penyelesaian learning loss. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru SMP Negeri di Bandar Lampung tahun 1997. Penelitian ini menggunakan cluster random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 226 guru. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan menggunakan skala likert. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan koefisien korelasi Pearson. Temuan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap variabel kepemimpinan transformasional dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan learning loss dengan pengaruh yang positif. Besar pengaruh Kepemimpinan terhadap penanganan learning loss sebesar 9,7%, sedangkan 90,3% dipengaruhi oleh variable lainnya yang tidak diteliti. Kesimpulan: Terdapat pengaruh yang positif kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap penyelesaian masalah learning loss. Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between statistics self-efficacy, research anxiety and research confidence. This research also determined whether statistics self-efficacy can predict research confidence. Methods: Purposive sampling method was used among 71 students who had previously taken statistics and research employing adapted questionnaires in data collection. Findings: Results revealed that statistics self-efficacy and research anxiety have a relationship with motivated behavior and statistical theory. Meanwhile, statistics self-efficacy and research confidence were found to be associated in terms of lecture behavior, use of information technology, motivated behavior, time management, and statistical theory. Furthermore, this study discovered that statistical theory and time management could predict respondents’ research confidence. Conclusion: The findings imply that improving the statistics self-efficacy of prospective mathematics teachers is indispensable for mathematics research production. Abstrak: Persepsi Kemanjuran Diri Statistik, Kecemasan Riset, dan Keyakinan Riset Guru Prajabatan Matematika di Salah Satu Universitas Negeri di Filipina. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara efikasi diri statistik, kecemasan penelitian, dan kepercayaan diri penelitian. Penelitian ini juga menentukan apakah efikasi diri statistik dapat memprediksi keyakinan penelitian. Metode: Metode purposive sampling digunakan pada 71 siswa yang sebelumnya telah mengambil statistik dan penelitian menggunakan kuesioner yang disesuaikan dalam pengumpulan data. Temuan: Hasil mengungkapkan bahwa efikasi diri statistik dan kecemasan penelitian memiliki hubungan dengan perilaku termotivasi dan teori statistik. Sementara itu, efikasi diri statistik dan keyakinan penelitian ditemukan berhubungan dalam hal perilaku kuliah, penggunaan teknologi informasi, perilaku termotivasi, manajemen waktu, dan teori statistik. Selain itu, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa teori statistik dan manajemen waktu dapat memprediksi kepercayaan penelitian responden. Kesimpulan: Temuan ini menyiratkan bahwa peningkatan self-efficacy statistik calon guru matematika sangat diperlukan untuk produksi penelitian matematika. Objectives: This study aimed to determine the effect of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) models-assisted Augmented Reality (AR) on mathematical reasoning abilities (MRA). Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental post-test-only control group research design. The research sample consisted of 34 students in the experimental class and 36 students in the control class who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a essay test analyzed using IBM SPSS 27 and Winstep. Findings: The findings indicate a significant difference between the experimental and control classes with the Mann-Whitney U-test Asymp. Sig. 0.00 while the results of Cohen’s d effect size were obtained at d = 1.54. Furthermore, the Wright maps that the percentage of MRA is high (14%), medium (76%) and low (10%). Conclusion: Students who receive the application of the PBL models-assisted AR become more active, able to solve given contextual problems well and are more innovative in expanding their knowledge related to mathematical material. Keywords: problem based learning, augmented reality, mathematical reasoning ability. Abstrak: Pengaruh Model Problem-Based Learning Berbantu Augmented Reality Terhadap Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantu Augmented Reality (AR) terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis (MRA). Metode: Desain penelitian ini adalah quasi-experimental post-test-only control group design. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 34 siswa di kelas eksperimen dan 36 siswa di kelas kontrol yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa tes uraian yang dianalisis menggunakan IBM SPSS 27 dan Winstep. Temuan: Temuan ini menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dengan Mann-Whitney U-test menghasilkan Asymp. Sig. 0,00 sedangkan hasil Cohen’s d effect size diperoleh d = 1,54. Selanjutnya, peta wright menunjukkan bahwa persentase MRA tinggi (14%), sedang (76%), dan rendah (10%). Kesimpulan: Siswa yang mendapat penerapan model PBL berbantuan AR menjadi lebih aktif, mampu memecahkan masalah kontekstual yang diberikan dengan baik, dan lebih inovatif dalam memperluas pengetahuannya terkait dengan materi matematika. Objectives: This study described the areas of deficiencies and compliance with the program standard as the basis for the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) issuance for Criminal Justice Education (CJE). Methods: Document analysis was the research method utilized in this study to examine the quality assurance and program standard deficiencies and compliance of six state colleges and universities (SUCs) with CJE programs in Region 9 of the Philippines. The data used for this study were the evaluation reports submitted by the Regional Quality Assurance Team (RQAT) after each onsite inspection conducted in 2020, 2021, and 2022. Findings: Results from the evaluation reports identified commonalities in the deficiencies noted and the recommended corrective actions. Conclusion: Based on the findings, physical facilities, laboratory holdings, and library holdings appear to be the areas that require improvement among SUCs. Abstrak: Penjaminan Kualitas dan Standar Program Pendidikan Peradilan Pidana: Implikasi dari Studi Kasus Laporan Evaluasi SUCs. Tujuan: Studi ini menggambarkan bidang kekurangan dan kepatuhan terhadap standar program sebagai dasar penerbitan Sertifikat Kepatuhan Program (COPC) untuk Pendidikan Peradilan Pidana (CJE). Metode: Studi kasus analisis dokumen adalah metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk menguji penjaminan mutu dan kekurangan standar program serta kepatuhan Sekolah Tinggi dan Universitas Negeri (SUC) dengan program CJE di Wilayah 9, Filipina. Data yang digunakan untuk analisis ini berasal dari laporan evaluasi yang disampaikan oleh Tim Penjaminan Mutu Regional (RQAT) setelah setiap inspeksi lapangan dilakukan pada tahun 2020, 2021, dan 2022. Temuan: Hasil dari laporan evaluasi mengidentifikasi kesamaan dalam kekurangan yang dicatat dan tindakan korektif yang direkomendasikan. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, fasilitas fisik, kepemilikan laboratorium, dan kepemilikan perpustakaan tampaknya menjadi area yang membutuhkan perbaikan di antara SUC. Objectives: This study aimed to determine the students’ opportunities, challenges and coping mechanisms in limited face-to-face classes at the College of Education, Eastern Samar State University. Methods: A total of 74 students agreed to participate in the study. They had to make a weekly journal log to determine the challenges and opportunities in limited face-to-face classes. Moreover, Six focus group discussions with three randomly chosen students were also done as another data source. Findings: Among the students’ learning opportunities were in-depth conceptual understanding, self-paced learning, self-regulated learning, and prompt teachers’ feedback. On the other hand, the learning challenges encountered by the students were internet connectivity glitches and course design issues. From the challenges identified by the students, relocating to other places with good internet speed and asking for help from classmates were their coping mechanisms for internet connectivity glitches, while asking for help from classmates and understanding the issues through peer support were students’ coping mechanisms for course design issues. Conclusion: The students’ opportunities of limited face-to-face classes led them to succeed in their academic performance; moreover, they could cope with all the challenges they faced during the limited face-to-face classes. Keywords: limited face-to-face classes, coping mechanism, university student. Abstrak: Peluang, Tantangan dan Mekanisme Coping Mahasiswa dalam Kelas Tatap Muka Terbatas. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peluang, tantangan, dan mekanisme koping siswa dalam kelas tatap muka terbatas di Sekolah Tinggi Pendidikan, Universitas Negeri Samar Timur. Metode: Sebanyak 74 siswa setuju untuk berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Mereka harus membuat log jurnal mingguan untuk menentukan tantangan dan peluang dalam kelas tatap muka terbatas. Selain itu, enam diskusi kelompok terarah dengan tiga siswa yang dipilih secara acak juga dilakukan sebagai sumber data lainnya. Temuan: Di antara kesempatan belajar siswa adalah pemahaman konseptual yang mendalam, pembelajaran mandiri, pembelajaran mandiri, dan umpan balik guru yang cepat. Di sisi lain, tantangan pembelajaran yang dihadapi mahasiswa adalah gangguan konektivitas internet dan masalah desain perkuliahan. Specifically, this investigated the profile of the primary grade teachers, level of effectiveness of modular approach in teaching primary grades and the suggestions to enhance the implementation of printed modular learning amidst pandemic education. Methods: Descriptive survey research design was used which described data gathered through survey using questionnaire with 5-point Likert Scale on the topic under study. Data were tabulated and appropriately treated using frequency count, percentage and weighted mean. These provided the most fit way of analysis and interpretation of the research data. Findings: An over-all weighted mean of 3.53 for the level of effectiveness on modular approach in teaching primary grades amidst pandemic education was computed. Conclusion: The primary grades teachers were dominated by female teachers. A high effectiveness on modular approach in teaching Grades 1,2 and 3 learners was achieved. There were also various suggestions to enhance the implementation of printed modular learning amidst pandemic education. Objectives: The research looked at the experiences of struggling students in mathematics during distance learning amidst the pandemic. Methods: Semi-structured interviews were utilized as part of the study’s phenomenological interpretive research design. Non-probability sampling technique was used to select six students to interview for the collection of raw data. Thematic analysis was used to record and examine transcripts. Findings: Four developing themes that were summed up into CLAS (Content, structure, assessment of self-learning modules and instructional materials, Learning environment, Accessibility of modality, and Support system) were recognized which describe the struggling students experiences in time of pandemic. Conclusion: According to one conclusion, problems with operationalization and learning delivery continue to be barriers, and modular distance learning is not appropriate for all types of students due to a number of factors. Keywords: modular distance learning, mathematics learning, phenomenological research. Abstrak: Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh Selama COVID-19: Pengalaman Hidup Siswa yang Berjuang di Bidang Matematika. Tujuan: Penelitian ini melihat pengalaman siswa yang bergelut di bidang matematika selama pembelajaran jarak jauh di tengah pandemi. Metode: Wawancara semi-terstruktur digunakan sebagai bagian dari desain penelitian interpretatif fenomenologis studi. Teknik non-probability sampling digunakan untuk memilih enam siswa yang akan diwawancarai untuk pengumpulan data mentah. Analisis tematik digunakan untuk merekam dan memeriksa transkrip. Temuan: Empat tema pengembangan yang diringkas menjadi CLAS (Isi, struktur, penilaian modul dan bahan ajar mandiri, Lingkungan belajar, Aksesibilitas modalitas, dan Sistem pendukung) diakui yang menggambarkan pengalaman siswa berjuang di masa pandemi. Kesimpulan: masalah operasionalisasi dan penyampaian pembelajaran terus menjadi hambatan, dan pembelajaran jarak jauh modular tidak sesuai untuk semua jenis siswa karena sejumlah faktor. Objectives: This tracer study aimed to trace the graduates of the master’s programs in Teacher Education in a center of excellence in Central Visayas, Philippines. Methods: Using a validated tracer study tool, the researchers obtained data from 136 respondents and analyzed these data through descriptive statistical and thematic analyses. Findings: Findings revealed that they became better after receiving the master’s degree, where the university master’s attributes are evident among them. They attained crucial attributes, developed complex skills, and were promoted to a higher teaching rank. Though they improved, they still recommended that the center of excellence employ flexible and integrative learning, where certifications and current trends and issues are embedded. Conclusion: In conclusion, the education master’s program has provided instruction and a learning environment where students become proficient teachers and workers in their respective teaching stations. Future researchers may venture into other aspects of the graduates to include in tracer studies. Keywords: masters programs, center of excellence, teacher education, tracer study. Abstrak: Mengeksplorasi Jalur Pengembangan Profesional Lulusan Program Magister Pendidikan: Tracer Study di Pusat Unggulan. Tujuan: Studi ini bertujuan untuk melacak lulusan program magister Pendidikan Guru di pusat keunggulan di Central Visayas, Filipina. Metode: Dengan menggunakan alat tracer study yang tervalidasi, peneliti memperoleh data dari 136 responden dan menganalisis data tersebut melalui analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis tematik. Temuan: Temuan mengungkapkan bahwa mereka menjadi lebih baik setelah menerima gelar master, di mana atribut master universitas terlihat jelas di antara mereka. Mereka memperoleh atribut penting, mengembangkan keterampilan kompleks, dan dipromosikan ke peringkat pengajar yang lebih tinggi. Meskipun meningkat, mereka tetap merekomendasikan agar pusat keunggulan menggunakan pembelajaran yang fleksibel dan integratif, di mana sertifikasi dan tren serta masalah terkini disematkan. Objectives: This study aimed to identify the relationship between workplace diversity and faculty performance in Eastern Samar State University. Methods: The research employed a quantitative research design utilizing descriptive and correlational approaches. Findings: The results revealed a weak positive correlation between the level of workplace diversity and faculty performance, but the link between the two variables were not found to be significant. The findings of this study suggest that while workplace diversity may have an impact on employee performance, it may not be the only factor in determining performance. Conclusion: This research highlights the importance of organizations to focus on creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. While workplace diversity may have an impact on employee performance, it may not be the only factor in determining performance, therefore there is a need for further studies to explore the relationship between diversity and performance in different contexts. Keywords: workplace diversity, faculty performance, higher education, correlation analysis. Abstrak: Keberagaman Tempat Kerja dan Kinerja Fakultas di Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara keragaman tempat kerja dan kinerja fakultas di Eastern Samar State University. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan korelasional. Temuan: Hasilnya mengungkapkan korelasi positif yang lemah antara tingkat keragaman tempat kerja dan kinerja fakultas, tetapi hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut tidak ditemukan signifikan. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sementara keragaman tempat kerja mungkin berdampak pada kinerja karyawan, itu mungkin bukan satu-satunya faktor dalam menentukan kinerja.
