This is essential given the increasing recognition of unmet health needs and the deleterious effects of mental health difficulties, racial and economic disparities, and burden on the psychology workforce. This article describes the coming together of the HSP education and training community to create the CCTC 2020: Social Responsiveness in Health Service Psychology Education and Training Toolkit. The shared decision-making leading to the development of the concept and conference, the shift in conference structure due to COVID-19, and the collaborative process of constructing the toolkit are described. Additionally, several principles that guided the work including a focus on relationships, embracing change, and the importance of self-awareness are discussed. The authors share how the structure, process, and components of the conference as well as the products developed reflect the type of transformational change that is needed in HSP training and education. Studies in <i>Arabidopsis thaliana</i>, a model plant organism in plant biology and genetics, and major cereal crops have provided fundamental knowledge and understanding of the underlying molecular mechanisms and regulation in annuals. However, this flowering process and underly molecular mechanisms in perennials are much more complicated than those in annuals and remain poorly understood and documented. In recent years, the increasing availability of perennial plant genomes and advances in biotechnology have allowed the identification and characterization of flowering-associated gene orthologs in perennials. In this review, we compared and summarized the recent progress in regulation of flowering time in perennial trees, with an emphasis on the perennial-specific regulatory mechanisms. Pleiotropic effects on tree growth habits such as juvenility, seasonal activity-dormancy growth, and the applications of tree flowering phenology are discussed.</p>","PeriodicalId":47035,"journal":{"name":"Training and Education in Professional Psychology","volume":"9 1","pages":"2"},"PeriodicalIF":3.4,"publicationDate":"2023-01-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC11524233/pdf/","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79377333","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":2,"RegionCategory":"心理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
