However, the introduction of fertiliser in a hydroponics setup influences the pH level of the nutrient solution. This, in turn, could affect plants' growth as many types of plants require a specific pH range to grow optimally. Conventional hydroponics cultivation performs pH adjustment manually – a meticulous and error-prone process. Manual adjustment of pH solutions is prone to estimation errors, particularly when the pH levels change drastically due to the slow response of the solution to the addition of alkaline or acidic mixtures and sensitivity to minute errors in mixture delivery. For these reasons, a model to estimate the solution's pH would help improve the delivery accuracy of the alkaline and acidic mixtures. Past research offers minimal study to optimally construct the model from a System Identification (SI) perspective. This study represents a pH water neutralisation behaviour using the Nonlinear Autoregressive model with Exogeneous Inputs (NARX). The project begins with input and output data acquisition, leading to the development of the NARX model. Model performance was then evaluated by analysing the model fit and residual distribution.","PeriodicalId":45439,"journal":{"name":"TEM Journal-Technology Education Management Informatics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.7,"publicationDate":"2023-08-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46269711","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The pandemic has also resulted in a sharp decline in the community economy, especially for people with special abilities (PwSAs), namely those with apparent physical limitations and intellectual disabilities. To alleviate the economic pressure faced by PwSAs, it is crucial to foster their entrepreneurial spirit and skills through creative leadership. This paper portrays the visionary leadership of a village head in Indonesia in empowering and improving PwSAs’ economy through entrepreneurial activities. The research data was collected by observing the daily lives of PwSAs, interviews, and focus group discussions (FGD) with PwSAs and village officials. The study results show that the village head used different approaches for developing the entrepreneurship spirit and skills of PwSAs through training, skills guidance, and craft innovation before and during the pandemic. The programs implemented have increased the PwSAs’ economic level, reducing the number of poor people. This village head is clear evidence of the application of creative leadership in entrepreneurship with all his patience and empathy during the COVID-19 pandemic, which was finally able to solve complex problems faced by the PwSAs.","PeriodicalId":45439,"journal":{"name":"TEM Journal-Technology Education Management Informatics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.7,"publicationDate":"2023-08-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44858631","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The constant development in agricultural economics warrants a better understanding of such changes to help with effective decision making in agriculture. Consecutively, a review of literature has enabled the research to identify three trends; organic farming, agroforestry, and climate-smart agriculture. The research used secondary data and primary data when conducting the thematic analysis. The findings from the analysis revealed that opportunities such as consumer demand, profitability, and government subsidies motivated the farmers into undertaking sustainable practices. Meanwhile, the challenges such as time constraint, farm size, and access to equipment and expert skills acted as barriers that prevented the farmers from adopting sustainable practices.","PeriodicalId":45439,"journal":{"name":"TEM Journal-Technology Education Management Informatics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.7,"publicationDate":"2023-08-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45366813","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Those demands lead to the need to update geospatial data in the form of land use modeling for further land management purposes. This research used remote sensing technology to develop land use and land cover models based on cellular automata and socio-economic data. This research shows that there will be a significant increase in population in 2030, followed by changes in residential land use. The land use model shows that the use of customary land in most areas is not followed by a change in ownership which shows that tribe rules are still being followed and maintained correctly.","PeriodicalId":45439,"journal":{"name":"TEM Journal-Technology Education Management Informatics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.7,"publicationDate":"2023-08-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47082565","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study aims to demonstrate an effective approach to reducing noise pollution through the implementation of mobile noise barriers. The research was motivated by the negative impact of noise from the processing line on the well-being of the population residing in the vicinity of the facility. The study involved conducting extensive noise measurements at various locations surrounding the quarry. The collected data were analyzed to assess the existing noise levels and identify the areas of highest noise exposure. Based on the findings, the implementation of mobile noise barriers was proposed as a solution. The results of the study demonstrated that the mobile noise barriers successfully reduced the noise levels below the legal limits, significantly improving the well-being of the population living near the quarry. The case study opens up the possibility of using mobile noise barriers in other areas and operations with high noise exposure.","PeriodicalId":45439,"journal":{"name":"TEM Journal-Technology Education Management Informatics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.7,"publicationDate":"2023-08-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42083779","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

CT scans can sometimes provide misleading clues and delay successive treatment due to artifacts caused by reflected radiation from metallic implants. This work successfully segments multiple organs containing metal implants and discards artifacts using a combination of non-rigid transformations, Scribbles-based segmentation, and a pre-trained auto segmentation model (DynaUnet -Pretrained-Model). The presented transfer learning model combined the benefits of an interactive environment and reduced computational and processing-time costs. The transfer learning model proved high auto segmentation performance for multi-organs with metal implants' presence by decreasing metal artefact's impact on the segmentation process and the achieved segmentation accuracies between 0.9998 for the spleen and 0.9829 for the stomach.","PeriodicalId":45439,"journal":{"name":"TEM Journal-Technology Education Management Informatics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.7,"publicationDate":"2023-08-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44867067","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Especially during such crises, the requirement for essential necessities becomes critical. Existing solution guidelines involve receiving donated items from public agencies through an offline system to provide assistance to victims. However, this implementation faces several limitations, such as a lack of understanding of people's needs in specific areas, leading to mismatches between assistance and actual requirements. Additionally, donators lack adequate information, resulting in further discrepancies between donated items and the victims' genuine needs. The available geospatial platforms primarily support surveillance and monitoring of epidemic or disaster situations but fail to address the management of needs related to donation and receipt. Through an extensive review of the literature and related research, it was identified that a geospatial platform specifically dedicated to donation management has not yet been developed. To address this gap, this research proposes the creation of a novel geospatial platform using data analysis and visualization methods, complemented by the integration of geofencing technology. By employing such an approach, the geospatial platform will play a pivotal role in enhancing disaster and epidemic assistance. It will facilitate efficient data processing and visualization, overcoming the limitations faced by the current offline system. Emphasis will be placed on improving the management of needs concerning donation and receipt, thereby mitigating mismatches between assistance and actual requirements. Consequently, this platform is expected to significantly enhance the effectiveness and targeting of aid distribution during times of crises.","PeriodicalId":45439,"journal":{"name":"TEM Journal-Technology Education Management Informatics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.7,"publicationDate":"2023-08-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47286508","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of policies in higher education institutions that promote both academic achievement and personal growth. The analytical method used is confirmatory factor analysis. The result of this study shows that students' personal development has no impact on the determination of online learning policies. Hence online learning policy determination cannot affect the assessment of online learning outcomes. Nonetheless, student’s personal development undertaken can influence the assessment of online learning outcomes, and implementing online learning policies can mediate the effect of personal development on online learning outcomes assessment. Therefore, a student's future achievement should be determined only by the academic performance that does not have to depend on local government policy.","PeriodicalId":45439,"journal":{"name":"TEM Journal-Technology Education Management Informatics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.7,"publicationDate":"2023-08-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49371095","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This monitoring system has been the subject of extensive research, but in general it employs costly commercial software and as well as other license-based software. This paper discusses the design of a photovoltaic parameter monitoring system that uses Internet of Things technology to monitor in real time. This software is intended to be as interactive as possible in order to display all measurement data in the form of graphical according to a user-specified time interval. The constructed system is tested to display the measurement parameters of the fixed and dual axis solar tracker. The test results indicate that the system can display data in real time. Every data shown is accessible from any location and at any time, so long as the device being used is connected to the Internet. This system obviously can be applied and developed for an internet of thing-based photovoltaic parameter monitoring system to facilitate system estimation and optimization.","PeriodicalId":45439,"journal":{"name":"TEM Journal-Technology Education Management Informatics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.7,"publicationDate":"2023-08-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49388070","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
