En este trabajo analizamos las diferencias en las expectativas académicas de los estudiantes de nuevo ingreso según género y rama de conocimiento. Participaron 940 estudiantes que respondieron al “Cuestionario de Percepciones Académicas: Versión Expectativas”. Se aplicaron análisis no paramétricos. Los resultados muestran que las mujeres acceden a la universidad con mayores expectativas. Los estudiantes de Artes y Humanidades presentan menores expectativas que otras ramas de conocimiento. Twenty six secondary school students participated in this study. The results indicate that cognitive variables correlate with each other and with academic performance. The regression analysis showed that reading comprehension constitutes the most important higher-order cognitive ability that best predicts academic performance in this curricular subject. Este estudio tuvo como propósito poner a prueba un modelo multinivel en estudiantes de Educación Superior sobre la relación de la organización docente y las dimensiones del grit, mediada por la competencia percibida. Participaron 3.033 estudiantes de cinco países, a los que se les midió la utilidad y organización del docente, la competencia y el grit. Los resultados muestran que, a nivel individual, la organización por parte del profesorado centrada en la utilidad se relacionó positivamente con el grit del estudiante cuando estaba mediada por la competencia percibida. Ramírez-Montoya, Paulette Conget","doi":"10.15581/004.41.009","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.15581/004.41.009","url":null,"abstract":"El objetivo del estudio fue diseñar y validar un cuestionario para recoger información respecto de las oportunidades que brindan los programas de formación inicial docente de aproximarse a la práctica pedagógica, de desarrollar habilidades de procesamiento metacognitivo y de adoptar el lifelong learning. El instrumento fue diseñado conforme a la literatura y validado usando el método Delphi. Fue aplicado en una muestra de 198 estudiantes de Pedagogía. Luego de ajustes en función de los resultados de un análisis factorial confirmatorio, se obtuvo una versión de alta validez y confiabilidad. To do this, through a hermeneutical methodology that put special attention to the educational implications of ideas, it analyzes what the English apologist understood by a theory of childhood, fairy tales and the family, as well as his conception of education and the University.
