In der Analyse von Fragebogendaten ( N = 801) mittels Partial-Least-Squares-Strukturgleichungsmodellierung zeigte sich, dass insbesondere ein wertschätzendes und sicheres Teamklima eine wichtige Rolle für die Vorhersage des Inklusionserlebens spielte. Darüber hinaus erwiesen sich auch individuell angepasste Arbeitsplätze, die Ermöglichung von Mitgestaltung und Potenzialentfaltung und das Vorhandensein positiver Rollenmodelle als eigenständige Prädiktoren. Diese Ergebnisse erweitern das Wissen zur Etablierung inklusiver Praktiken, Strukturen, Werte und Normen in Organisationen.","PeriodicalId":44883,"journal":{"name":"Zeitschrift Fur Arbeits-Und Organisationspsychologie","volume":"36 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.2,"publicationDate":"2023-05-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80966807","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"心理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nach den Annahmen des Job-Demands-Resources-Modells können persönliche Ressourcen das individuelle Beanspruchungsrisiko abschwächen. Diese Annahme wurde am Beispiel der Resilienz in einer online-Querschnittserhebung während der 3. Corona-Welle in Deutschland bei N=142 Beschäftigten im Zusammenhang mit der Arbeit im Homeoffice überprüft. Untersucht wurden Irritation und Vitalität als abhängige Variablen, Arbeit-Familie-Konflikt als unabhängige Variable und Resilienz als potenzieller Moderator. Es wurde angenommen, dass resilientere Personen weniger Irritation infolge von Arbeit-Familie-Konflikten im Homeoffice erleben. Eine Moderatoranalyse bestätigte den postulierten Interaktionseffekt. Die Resilienz stellt beim Umgang mit Arbeit-Familie-Konflikten im Homeoffice somit eine relevante persönliche Ressource dar. Praktische Implikationen für die Personalentwicklung und betriebliche Gesundheitsförderung werden diskutiert.","PeriodicalId":44883,"journal":{"name":"Zeitschrift Fur Arbeits-Und Organisationspsychologie","volume":"29 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.2,"publicationDate":"2023-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87646963","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"心理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

After breaking through the glass ceiling, women often obtain precarious or risky leadership positions in crisis-ridden organizations ( the glass cliff; Ryan & Haslam, 2005 ). Due to women’s minority status, their appointment in a crisis can signal important changes to organizational stakeholders indicating the use of new strategies for overcoming the crisis (signaling theory; Spence, 1973 ). Our study examines whether the media visibility of organizations moderates these signaling effects in ways that either strengthen or weaken glass cliffs. We augmented the archival dataset used by Haslam et al. (2010 ) in which the glass cliff phenomenon was discovered by including data on the media coverage that the Financial Times Stock Exchange index 100 companies received between 2001 and 2005. Our analysis shows that glass cliffs were more pronounced in companies with low media visibility. This suggests that the media visibility of organizations can contribute to increased accountability regarding their personnel decisions in ways that expose women leaders to less discrimination.","PeriodicalId":44883,"journal":{"name":"Zeitschrift Fur Arbeits-Und Organisationspsychologie","volume":"32 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.2,"publicationDate":"2022-11-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80628077","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"心理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There is increasing debate about whether worktime and workplace autonomy lead to employees coping with high workloads at the expense of their private lives, thereby willingly endangering themselves. This article also discusses the competencies required to balance job and home demands. We tested a moderated indirect effect model that assumes that both worktime and workplace autonomy amplify and self-leadership weakens the indirect relationship between work overload and emotional exhaustion via (job-to-home) spillover. The results of an online survey with 1,000 employees only supported the moderating role of worktime and workplace autonomy. Work autonomy amplified the indirect positive relationship between work overload and emotional exhaustion via spillover. Explorative analyses supported these findings only for worktime autonomy and indicated that self-leadership buffered the positive indirect association between qualitative – but not between quantitative – work overload and emotional exhaustion via spillover. These results call for differential approaches to prevent spillover and emotional exhaustion.","PeriodicalId":44883,"journal":{"name":"Zeitschrift Fur Arbeits-Und Organisationspsychologie","volume":"452 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.2,"publicationDate":"2022-11-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77711021","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"心理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In drei Studien wurden die Faktorstruktur eines Fragebogens zur Messung interessierter Selbstgefährdung untersucht, die Gültigkeit der Struktur konfirmatorisch gezeigt sowie weitere Aspekte von Konstrukt- und Kriteriumsvalidität bestätigt. Zehn Strategien interessierter Selbstgefährdung ließen sich einer extensivierenden und einer vermeidenden Verhaltenskonstellation zuordnen. Erwartungsgemäß zeigten sich moderate, differentielle Assoziationen zwischen der extensivierenden und vermeidenden Konstellation mit den konvergenten Konstrukten Arbeitsbezogenheit und Counterproductive Work Behavior. Die Kriteriumsvalidität der beiden Verhaltenskonstellationen zeigte sich anhand erwartungskonformer, differentieller Zusammenhänge zu gesundheitsbezogenen (Selbstwert, psychosomatischen Beschwerden und Erschöpfung) sowie zu arbeitsbezogenen Variablen (Mehrarbeit und dem gewünschten Renteneintrittsalter). According to the legal requirements in many countries, companies should conduct psychosocial risk assessments (PRA). However, recent studies have demonstrated deficiencies in PRA implementation. Especially micro- and small-sized enterprises (MSE) are in arrears. We conducted two explorative studies to shed light on this topic: We recruited MSE and examined their reasons for participation ( N = 7) and nonparticipation ( N = 21) in a nonresponder survey. Further, we analyzed longitudinal data capturing the PRA process over 18 months in 15 MSE within a case study. The attitude that stress is an important issue was a major reason for participation. The reasons given for nonparticipation were lack of interest in PRA and lack of stress. High time commitment and support were needed for complete PRA implementation. The reasons given for termination included low resources and prioritization of PRA. The results indicate that interest and awareness of the relevance of psychosocial stress need to increase, and that approaches requiring fewer resources are needed.","PeriodicalId":44883,"journal":{"name":"Zeitschrift Fur Arbeits-Und Organisationspsychologie","volume":"57 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.2,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78736297","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"心理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
