Modern journalistic practices of news information presentation journalism are discussed. Because big data-based algorithms, which have recently been widely implemented to «optimize the performance» of social networks and search engines, often determine what information will be displayed and which sites respond to search queries. By creating and training neural networks, our preferences are analyzed — likes, reposts, comments — and on this basis, an individual news feed is formed for each account.\u0000As a result, the views that users do not share are gradually disappearing from the feed, and those that they like are emerging. The news world is becoming comfortable and understandable. The combination of machine and journalistic selection results is particularly interesting through the prism of data journalism, as this type of journalistic activity can be seen as the result of journalistic and technological practices. Based on a qualitative statistical analysis of news sites, the study examines how data journalism works in the news cycle of professional newsrooms. In addition, the publication explores the innovations that data journalism brings to storytelling, news gathering, and dissemination.\u0000Through statistical analysis of the content of these Internet resources, a clear direction in the information policy of media companies to give preference to linear formats of information messages. This direction of consumer information is more effective compared to truly interactive and less paternalistic data journalism projects. Thus, paternalism is probably the best from a commercial point of view. Professional paternalism is an important source for maintaining journalistic autonomy, while in public debates and on technology platforms «bubble filters» and delegating decision-making to machines are considered negative paternalism.\u0000In an age when journalism merges with artificial intelligence and journalists and engineers create algorithms side by side to protect their immunity, journalists need to make sure that the audience is informed about the methodology, the validity of the choice of design in interactive programs, clearly motivated. In our opinion, problems arise only if the auditor (journalist or program / developer) does not pay attention to the difference between filtering and selection in different digital texts.

Human protection, adherence to the fundamental principles enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Basic Law of Ukraine are the basis of freedom, justice and universal peace. One of the solutions to the problem is to highlight the problems and prospects for the development of human rights journalism in Ukraine. The creation of stereotypes, including ethnic ones, is one of the manifestations of a mythological worldview. Stereotype consists out of the stale core and ever-changing views. Researching those «stale cores» and «ever-changing views» as a part of the structure of views about themself and others gives a possibility to construct an example of a way of identity forming. Following this, the goal of this article is to research «ever-changing views» in ethnic stereotypes during the 2006-2017 years. Such analysis became possible due to comparing two quizzes, taken among the students of Odesa city. The first quiz has taken place during the 2006–2007 years, the second one — during 2016-2017. Both of them consist of the same methods — method of projective drawing, method of open questions, method of ranking of ethnic groups (Bogardus’ scale), method of associations. The most important conclusion of this research is that the result of the second quiz, in comparison to the first, shows the increased quantity of students who view themselves as Ukrainian; change in the general view of Ukrainian towards wholesomeness and positivity; decreased «ethnographic» factor in the view of Ukrainian (decrease in the culturally-mundane symbols in the drawings); parallelly increased «ethnographic» factor in the view of Russian (increase in the culturally-mundane symbols in the drawings).\u0000Alongside that is necessary to admit the preservation of a relatively large quantity of archaic qualities in the modern Ukrainian urban culture which saves a lot of traditional features, which can be seen in the preservation of the view of roms («gips») as «scary foreigners».\u0000Also can be stated that the place of the high-status group, which was claimed by the Russian (according to the 2006–2007 years quiz), in the 2016–2017 years quiz gotten claimed by American, which shows the increase in the feeling of threat from Russia and consecutive decrease in the feeling of threat from America.

In this regard, media influence is actively studied, including communicative influence in general in various fields of science, but today we note the lack of clear delineation of the concepts of influence, persuasion, suggestion, suggestion, hypnosis, etc., as well as lack of clear separation of relevant components which contribute to its implementation, etc. This causes confusion and, as a result, ineffective messages that do not reach the goal are formed. In addition, orientation in the specifics of communicative influence will be useful in situations of manipulative processes, as it will allow to take counter-manipulative measures. In this case, there is a need for a clear interpretation of the communicative impact, its factors of actualization, varieties and systematization of the components of this phenomenon, which emphasizes the relevance of our article.\u0000The article proposes the author’s classification of varieties of communicative influence, the actualization of which occurs with the help of factors that are divided into two blocks: factors of socio-psychological characteristics of the subject and object of influence (or factors of interactive actualization of communicative influence) and message factors (or factors of textual actualization of communicative influence). Attention is focused on one of the factors of textual actualization of the impact — the factor of constructing a message behind the intensification: persuasion, suggestion, hypnosis / trance.\u0000These types of communicative influence differ in the level of utilization of consciousness, the degree of engraving in the consciousness / subconscious of the recipient, namely — persuasion is characterized by a weak degree of intensification of influence, because consciousness is active in perception (in the case of logical arguments, emotional ones are able to block consciousness, giving the effect of suggestibility); suggestive influence is determined by moderate intensification, because conscious processes are utilized, perceptual processes occur outside consciousness; hypnotic influence is characterized by the maximum degree of intensification due to the fact that in this state the consciousness is maximally utilized so much that the recipient may not remember it at all.\u0000In addition, the main differences between trance and hypnosis are identified on the following grounds: conditions of occurrence; degree of utilization of consciousness; duration; their relationship, and it was found that trance is a kind of stage of hypnosis. We see prospects for further research in in-depth study, detailing of components and implementation of communicative influence in the media space.

The emergence of new formats of digital information, including big data, provides new ways to search, process, analyze, present and visualize it in journalism. These changes should be reflected in the texts of journalistic materials. However, there is reason to believe that the impact of large and open data on the structure of journalistic materials in the leading domestic media remains minimal.\u0000Data journalism is still in its infancy, being studied based on observation and interviewing techniques. Comprehensive studies of data sources of data journalism publications are still lacking. In leading publications, the number of materials based on open data and published on a regular basis as separate projects or in specialized sections is growing. However, despite its prevalence, this phenomenon is still controversial both among practicing journalists and academics. The practices of data journalism, which are not sufficiently systematized, are not comprehensively reflected in the scientific literature. Existing research in this area is at the intersection of different scientific fields and concepts and is interdisciplinary. However, many media outlets are already starting to work with numbers and databases, literally finding stories in them for publication. It can be stated that today a community of people is emerging who call themselves data journalists, which is significantly different from the community of experts in the field of computer journalism. This new community has more innovative ways of providing data, storytelling, and final reporting, combining the deeply analytical and critical approaches of the computer and visual journalism community.

On a system-language level the idea of partnership is considered, on the basis of data of lexicographical sources. With this information it became possible to determine whether the value is equivalent to the borrowed word "partner" to its source. Research associative-verbal level of actualization of the concept PARTNER enabled us using associative dictionaries to determine to what extent the implemented components of its meaning in the Russian language consciousness. Finally, at the text level concept updating specific cases we investigated its use in speech. The material for this are the data of the National Corps of the Russian language. In addition, the article highlighted various kinds of partnerships, characteristic for the Russian mediadiscourse.Analysis of the three levels of actualization of the concept PARTNER allows us to draw the following conclusions: first, the appeal to the concept of partnership in the texts of the Russian media is characteristic of the official business style of political issues, it means institutional discourse. In everyday discourse, this nomination is "replaced" by other lexemes — friends, neighbours, colleagues, and others. Secondly, in the Russian mass media discourse, Russian-Ukrainian relations are presented as: 1) strategic partnership; 2) trade and economic partnership; 3) opposition of partnership of strong/weak, reliable/unreliable, equal/unequal. Finally, the components of the meaning of the lexeme "partner" in the Russian language and linguistic consciousness are not fully realized and are not equivalent to the original source.
