The main objective of this document was to develop an instrument to measure the significance of complex thinking in Virtual Learning Environments in Higher Education Institutions; For this purpose, the instrumental methodology of Hernández (2011) was used, applying the validation of experts, using the focus group method, where a value of .77 was obtained, which is considered a good degree of validity. Reliability was also analyzed using Cronbach's Alpha, which showed a value of .780, which is why it is considered adequate. The questionnaire is made up of 63 items, 57 of which are integrated using a 4-level Likert scale; Therefore, it is considered to be a valid and reliable instrument. The instrument proposes to know precisely the relationship that exists between the concept of complex thought and virtuality and how these are merged by educational actors.","PeriodicalId":44156,"journal":{"name":"Revista Ra Ximhai","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48349729","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Collecting the information through a documentary review by the different authors consulted for this research. In order to identify the causes of school dropout, at the University. This review was carried out in a period from 2010 to 2020 with the keywords of school dropout, lag, failure and academic performance. The databases consulted were SciELO, national repository cti.mx, Eric, Redalyc, dialnet, academic google, where keywords were used in thesauri, related to each of the concepts to be investigated. Searches were conducted in English and Spanish, in the areas of psychology, education, and social sciences. The methodological approach is qualitative and descriptive. Resulting in 15 articles that show the relationship of each of the aforementioned concepts with attrition, out of a total of 35 articles selected from the consulted databases that showed information regarding said problems. Some of the causes of the desertion of young university students have been based on the survival model, making it known that the desertion is related to the degree in which they are studying. Some statements claim that a high level of IQ does not ensure assertiveness when acting or making good decisions, but that there must be a balance between it and socio-emotional intelligence. What concerns social-emotional education cannot be simplified as a look inside, but represents a greater complexity, although it leads the subject to self-centeredness; individual concreteness, to discover their inner strength, promote personal growth and the construction of their own identity, its purpose is not individualism, but it is a collective consciousness, where competences such as self-knowledge, self-regulation, autonomy, empathy and collaboration come into play.\u0000The present research was carried out in the pandemic situation caused by the COVID-19 virus, it pursues the objectives of a more clearly understanding of socio-emotional-skills development process, in addition to identify the factors that prevent their acquisition, as well as explaining the benefits that individuals can achieve by promoting these abilities. This is channeled by an interpretative paradigm to analyze the phenomena in which the participating subjects are involved; how certain factors interfere with the development of social-emotional skills. This is linked to a qualitative approach, thus focusing on the experiences of the sample in question. The process takes the methodology of the case study due to the small number of students who manifest socio-emotional limitations. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation guides, file research and anecdotal recording. These techniques and instruments made it possible to systematize the information obtained and then schematize them.\u0000It was found that there are different factors that influence the development of the emotional intelligence, such as parents, parenting style, teaching intervention, psychological, psychiatric or neurological issues, as well as the disposition and motivation of students. It is concluded that socio-emotional skills are not innate, but it is necessary to activate them, they are influenced, limited or propitiated, by the particular life experience, in the same way they are not acquired at the same pace. Another relevant point is the teaching preparation necessary to achieve a socio-emotional solidity, in order to lead students to emerge the best version of themselves.","PeriodicalId":44156,"journal":{"name":"Revista Ra Ximhai","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48888931","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study uses the phenomenological method to analyze the academic experiences of 36 indigenous students of elementary, highschool or university level, of regular schools as well as indigenous ones, who live in the states of Durango and Chihuahua. It also examines their sense of identity related to their customs and traditions. The inclusion criteria that was considered for the participants was that they had to belong to an indigenous group. This research positions itself in the interpretative framework and qualitative approach, using the in depth interview and questionnaire as techniques. The obtained information was analyzed and classified in the following categories, according to the purpose of the research: customs and traditions, sense of belonging, classroom experiences and relationship with non-indigenous classmates. The results of this paper show the strong sense of belonging of the students toward their communities of origin, |but they admit that the migration to the city and discriminatory experiences have led them to stop using their native language and traditional attires. In regards to the academic aspect, they share positive experiences related to the coexistence with their classmates and their professors’ teaching approach, nevertheless, they express a sense of deficiency towards their Spanish use, and even to have endured marginalization in team work because of it. The paper concludes on the importance of guaranteeing the right to use and preserve the native language and particular cultural manifestations, as well as providing a truly intercultural educational model.","PeriodicalId":44156,"journal":{"name":"Revista Ra Ximhai","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49122106","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results indicate that graduate students have a high level of adaptive capacity and a severe level of academic stress, the most present stressor was task overload, while the main symptoms were permanent tiredness, anxiety and concentration problems. Necessary elements were available to determine that there is an association with a poor concordance strength between both variables, inverse proportional, that is: the higher the adaptive capacity, the lower the academic stress, with a predictive value of 1.6% of the population and a significance value of 0.04. The data collection techniques were: focused interview based on an interview script and participant observation in the migrant shelter through the systematic recording of the field diary. The participants were seven women between 20 and 35 years of age. The results show discrimination that migrant day laborers are subject to by the host community since they belong to indigenous, migrant, and impoverished peoples. In addition, they point out how social structures construct masculinity practices involving the malleability of their bodies to adjust to social norms of gender, race, ethnicity and socioeconomic status, being regarded as \"destined\" to strenuous physical labor and resistant to long working hours, which is related to the fact that they are perceived as absent figures such as partners and fathers in the family dynamics.","PeriodicalId":44156,"journal":{"name":"Revista Ra Ximhai","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42855428","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
