The study also aims to explore the mediating role of governmental support in the link between agritourism and job creation, handicraft sales, and living standards. To meet the aim of the study, a survey was constructed to collect data from agritourism workers in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Four hundred eighty-three questionnaires were issued, but only 313 were analyzed. The results indicated that agritourism was significantly and positively linked with job creation, handicraft sales, living standards, and governmental support. The results also revealed that governmental support significantly and positively correlates with job creation, handicraft sales, and living standards. Moreover, the results concluded that governmental support plays a partial mediating role in the link between agritourism and job creation, handicraft sales, and living standard. Theoretical implications for developing agritourism studies, as well as practical implications, are provided for owners, consultants, and policymakers of small-scale tourism businesses in rural areas.","PeriodicalId":436255,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Management","volume":"6 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139296024","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this study is to examine how organizational factors affect the effective adoption of electronic customer relationship management (e-CRM). The current study used a questionnaire to gather its data. The variables from the current study were used to generate the questionnaire. The earlier research cited in the literature review were also modified and updated for inclusion. A structured questionnaire survey was done in hotels in Luxor and Aswan to get the data. The collection consists of 103 legitimate responses from hotel managers. The outcome demonstrated that organizational characteristics have an impact on the success of e-CRM. However, there are other elements that should be taken into consideration more, with knowledge management having the greatest impact, followed by customer focus and technology. The study recommended that hotel operators and marketing directors, particularly in Luxor and Aswan, concentrate more on customer-oriented activities. The study suggests that hotels should be mindful of their organizational structure and follow with its customer-orientation strategy.","PeriodicalId":436255,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Management","volume":"13 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139303414","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A convenient sample of 189 restaurant employees completed a self-reported questionnaire to collect data on their KAP towards food allergies. Analysis of the data and testing of hypotheses and relationships between KAP were conducted using descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling (SEM). The study results showed that most restaurant employees had moderate knowledge and positive attitudes towards food allergies, while most practices were low to moderate risk. The findings also revealed that knowledge positively influenced attitude and practices, while attitude positively influenced practices. The study concludes that providing more training for restaurant employees could reduce the risk of serving unsafe meals to customers with food allergies","PeriodicalId":436255,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Management","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124342681","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It highlights several aspects related to the low-cost business model that are all interpreted according to their relationship to the purchasing decisions of Arab Tourism to Egypt. The mixed approach methodology was employed to conduct the study with mixed techniques. The quantitative method was represented in the questionnaire that targeted Arab travelers on LCCs, while the qualitative approach was represented in face-to-face and over-the-phone interviews conducted with the managers and employees of LCCs. The results showed and confirmed the impact of loyalty programs, promotions, and low-priced services of LCCs on the purchasing decision of Arab tourists to visit Egypt. They also demonstrated some challenges facing LCCs in Egypt, including high fuel prices and airport services, such as take-off and landing fees, aircraft waiting fees, and providing ground services for LCAs in some airports by national companies only.","PeriodicalId":436255,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Management","volume":"6 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116793515","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
