In the past practice, we have realized the construction of some educational functions in the network platform, and the efficiency of students' self-management and self-learning has been improved. However, as an important role of students' initial teachers, parents' participation in the construction of network education platform of universities is obviously low. Combined with case analysis and related questionnaire survey, we found that home-school interaction is indispensable in the construction of network platform of university education (NPUE). This paper gives some suggestions on the construction of the network platform in the future.","PeriodicalId":432459,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Educational Technology (ICET)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127123568","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Distance education has become substantially popular as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Virtual learning can play a key role in an emergency period like the COVID-19 pandemic because most of the learners have access to information and communication technologies (ICT). So, leveraging technology in education can be a potential solution in learning. This study intends to examine how digital technology can be integrated effectively for better learning and education during the COVID-19 pandemic. A systematic literature review was performed using the Scopus database from 2001 to 2020. According to inclusion criteria, 26 studies were selected for qualitative analysis. In particular, four forms of technology-oriented learning systems have been revealed: electronic (e-learning), mobile (m-learning), interactive (i-learning), and ubiquitous learning (u-learning). The introduction of technology into the teaching-learning process can be an important way of developing improved learning and educational outcomes for learners and educators. In this paper, the learning models provided have the ability to exploit the associated technologies to ensure the feedback and delivery of the learning approach. The research will provide educators, teachers, policymakers, and curriculum creators with a new lens to design a better learning strategy for the learner.","PeriodicalId":432459,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Educational Technology (ICET)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117209062","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Their validation and extensive use in developing social and living skills and abilities and in psychological adaptation gave the opportunity to develop and adapt such tools to the needs of migrant students and assist them in overcoming challenges they face with in the host country. The paper is aimed at studying the process of the ‘Social Mirror’ simulator adapting and developing to the needs and purposes of social and psychological adaptation of migrant students to the receiving university environment. The new version of the simulator was named ‘Social Integrator’ and it was supposed to increase the level of migrant students' social and living skills and abilities development due to the repeated training and analysis of constructive behavioural patterns in certain virtual environments associated with learning in host institution and at the same time increasing their level of social literacy. The pilot study involved 171 migrant students. To meet the real needs of migrant students while developing such simulators a needs analysis was carried out. It revealed the number of challenges migrant students face while adapting to the host university environment and helped to develop the modules included into the scenarios for the virtual reality simulator ‘Social integrator’.","PeriodicalId":432459,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Educational Technology (ICET)","volume":"89 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117218918","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To determine how students perceive OL in their learning, this study was conducted. This descriptive quantitative research involved the 3rd year medical students ($mathrm{n}=117$) enrolled in Pathologic Obstetric course, AY2020-2021, who voluntarily confirmed as participants of the study. The main research instrument of this study employed the questionnaire on the Students' Attitude on Online Learning. The data obtained from this questionnaire was analyzed using the descriptive statistics through SPSS version 20. Results showed that the respondents generally agree that online learning is capable of increasing the student's interest in computers and learning. However, they think that the less face-to-face interaction might not promote social interaction and slow internet connection can significantly make online learning difficult. It was also found out that students generally disagree to the effectiveness of online learning because it is not practically economical and time-consuming, results to weak student-teacher interaction that threatens the quality of teaching-learning process in addition to its inability to ensure effectiveness of classroom work presentation. In terms of the ease in using online learning, it is observed that students in general had a negative attitude on this emphasizing that there should have been another form of learning implemented other than through computers. There is no significant difference in the attitude of the male and female respondents to online learning, except in the ability of online learning to be discouraging having slow computer and/or slow internet connection and online learning's ability to make student's become slaves to technology. These results will provide insights to educators and school administrations to introduce and implement a more visible and achievable blended learning approach, than the usual pure online learning approach.","PeriodicalId":432459,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Educational Technology (ICET)","volume":"215 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130852844","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Education reforms can play a vital role in the development of a country. However, it is crucial to continually monitor the performance of the educational model by forecasting the progress of outcomes. Forecasting models can help to analyze the impact of future outcomes by showing yearly trends. For this study, we developed a hybrid, forecasting time-series model by using seasonal autoregressive integrated moving average (SARIMA) and support vector regression (SVR) to monitor educational reform in Morocco. We analyze the performance of six universities and provide a prediction model to evaluate the performance of the best-performing university after implementation of the latest reform, i.e., from 2015 to 2030. (2) In the repeated game, the college students' trajectory of interpersonal communication in four years is consistent with KMRW reputation model: the first and second years are the intensive periods of curriculum learning and participating activities, the active interactions among students at each level can promote mutual help to increase their achievements and develop good learning habits; In the third year, the excellent students with good professional skills go to enterprises for their internships, which weaken the interpersonal relationships between the students, the middle-poor students can continue to follow up the courses and maintain their academic achievements based on the solid foundation and the good habits; In the fourth year, everybody is busy with graduation and job hunting, and the interpersonal relationships among students are weak, but it does not affect everyone's successful graduation. Educators should be good at creating and taking full advantage of opportunities to make students form a stable and positive interpersonal network, so as to improve students' overall performances.","PeriodicalId":432459,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Educational Technology (ICET)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130685970","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
