The results of an empirical study conducted on a sample of students studying in a legal specialty are presented. The study (N=120) involved respondents aged 18 to 21 years (M=19.7±1.3), of which 81.7% were male. The main research method used is the method of free associations. The results were processed using the simplest mathematical statistics (finding averages, spread, percentage distribution) and a nonparametric method — the Pearson criterion χ2. The obtained results showed that law students have personal security concepts that are built according to a similar scheme, including, depending on the focus on danger/security, elements of \"wrong/right actions\", \"undesirable/desirable future\", \"negative/positive reality\", \"bad/good people\". These concepts are differentiated depending on their correlation with the household or professional sphere, differing in the dominance of objectivity/ subjectivity and internality / externality; they contain signs of professionalism and are associated with manifestations of the Self-concept of personality. The results of the study have explanatory potential for cases of security violations by lawyers in everyday life and in the profession.
","PeriodicalId":426732,"journal":{"name":"Psihologiâ i Pravo","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135351327","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this article, psychological difficulties are understood as any internal barriers, violations, failures, etc., that prevents optimal adaptation, in this case, of migrants. The focus of research by modern scientists is aimed at studying socially disadvantaged migrants and labor migrants. There is not enough research on women who have moved to a new country with their husbands. Four groups of psychological difficulties were identified that impede the successful adaptation of women, as well as the clinical manifestations associated with these difficulties: women’s expectations regarding interaction with society do not coincide with society’s expectations which contributes to the emergence of frustration and deprivation; the predominance of external motivation when moving to another country (following a husband) results in loss of work and familiar environment which often leads to depression and/or somatization; the predominance of compelled contacts in the structure of communication causes an increased irritability; self-image as a migrant before the move does not coincide with real self-image in a new country generates intrapersonal conflicts.
","PeriodicalId":426732,"journal":{"name":"Psihologiâ i Pravo","volume":"214 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135351783","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study was carried out in two stages (the first stage included the study of the relationship between the professional burnout of teachers and age characteristics; the second stage was aimed at studying the relationship between the indicators of the favorable educational environment of the school and the professional burnout of teachers). The study involved 70 subjects (women, mean age 43.2 + 12.61 years, minimum age 23 years, maximum age 62). The main research methods were: diagnostic (MBI professional burnout questionnaire, educational environment safety questionnaire, psychotic atmosphere in the team questionnaire, assessment of the index of relative biological aging according to V.P. Voitenko) and statistical (correlation analysis and stepwise multiple regression with the inclusion of variables). The authors come to the conclusion that for teachers with a work experience of 1 year or more, there is no linear relationship between experience, calendar age and indicators of professional burnout. At the same time, there is a correlation between the indicators of burnout and the index of relative biological aging: the higher the indicators of burnout, the stronger the rate of biological aging of the body. The main conclusion in the work is the established fact of the relationship of professional burnout with an increase in biological age, and the absence of a linear relationship with calendar age and length of service.
