The position is argued that alongside with absence of factors of formation of loyalty, there are specific socially-psychological obstacles for formation of loyalty to professional-service groups. Such obstacles were identified based on the analysis of empirical data (N=2786, respondents &mdash; men and the women engaging various positions in establishments and territorial units of Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia of 76 subjects of the Russian Federation; methods - The &laquo;Method of color metaphors&raquo;, the questionnaire &laquo;Subjective assessment of integration&raquo;). In relation to large formal groups (like ministry) such an obstacle is the lack of experience of joint activities and emotional experiences in the group. At the level of large contact groups (organizations), the most significant factors preventing loyalty are the lack of exclusivity and value of the group, obvious differences in the normative and value orientations of their members. Sennikovskaya","doi":"10.17759/psylaw.2023130106","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.17759/psylaw.2023130106","url":null,"abstract":"The article examines the change in the attitude of students of the Faculty of Legal Psychology to study during the period of easing sanitary restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of a longitudinal study conducted from December 2021 to May 2022 are presented. The sample consisted of 90 students of different courses studying in the specialty &ldquo;Pedagogy and psychology of deviant behavior&rdquo;. The attitude to study, determined using the questionnaire &ldquo;My studies at the university&rdquo; by O.A. Voronina, was compared in distance and mixed (full-time-distance) modes of study. According to the sample as a whole, a change in the transition from distance learning to a mixed learning format was revealed in both general satisfaction with learning and its individual aspects &mdash; emotional and evaluative attitude, satisfaction with the specialty, the ratio of internal and external motivation of learning. The differences in the dynamics of the attitude of students of different courses to study are recorded and discussed. Additionally, students&rsquo; opinions on the advantages and disadvantages of studying in different modes were clarified. Shchepanskaya","doi":"10.17759/psylaw.2023130101","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.17759/psylaw.2023130101","url":null,"abstract":"The features of the image of a professional investigator, associated with the skills of regulation of emotions, were studied in young people studying in this specialization. It was found out whether these features are manifested in experienced specialists or serve as a guide at different stages of the formation of professional identity, how they change in the course of training. Two studies involved cadets of two universities n = 274, a comparison group of psychologists, n = 78. Results processing methods: dispersion and discriminant analysis. The results revealed specific combinations of ways to explain successes and failures with actions to overcome them, which contribute to greater effectiveness of the investigator from the point of view of cadets at the beginning and at the end of training, and as part of ordinary ideas about a professional serve as a guide when choosing a profession. It turned out that the psychological characteristics corresponding to these ideas are involved in the process of the formation of professional identity, distinguishing the initial stages of its formation from the later ones. According to the result of the theoretical analysis it was found that the problem of recognizing a person in conditions of intentional face masking has not been practically studied despite of a number of research works on the problem of identifying a person by his/her face. An empirical study was conducted on a sample of young people at the age of 18-20 years old in the city of Yelets. Three hundred people participated in three stages of the experiment. The two types of images were used as motivation: a real appearance and an appearance with elements of disguise in which it was difficult to recognize the original face. The two initial hypotheses were proved: 1) the possibility of identification in a situation of intentional face masking depends on the preliminary installation of the recognizer; 2) the most effective installation during identifying of a person in a situation of intentional face masking is to fix the signs of the upper part of the face and to generalize psychological image of an identifiable person.
