A theoretical analysis of psychological and pedagogical research has shown that in the modern scientific literature there is no unambiguous view of the concept of the meaning of life. The theme of the meaning of life refers to eternal existential problems and is in the field of vision of philosophers and psychologists throughout the history of mankind. The processes of acquiring the meaning of his being by a person, its influence on a person’s life are an actual subject of the study of psychological science. The meaning of life can be considered a certain idea that is important for life. At the present stage, enough scientific facts have been accumulated that allow us to say that the meaning of life is not only a separate idea, but also a psychological phenomenon that has its own characteristics of formation, its own levels of development. After reaching a certain stage of development, it has a significant impact on human life. Three relevant techniques were selected in the work for this. The correlations between the empirically obtained indicators were revealed and the corresponding methodological recommendations were formulated.","PeriodicalId":426710,"journal":{"name":"Current Issues of Sports Psychology and Pedagogy","volume":"195 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121112471","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article is devoted to the study of the readiness of student-athletes engaged in various difficult-coordination sports to continue a sports career in cheer sports. The purpose of the study was to identify the initial level of development of leading physical qualities and special technical skills for cheerleaders in athletes of different specializations to determine readiness for sports improvement in the university student cheer sports team. The study was conducted using the method of control tests using tests to assess the leading physical qualities and special technical skills of cheerleaders. The results of the study showed that the level of readiness for sports improvement in student cheerleading teams of athletes who had sports experience in various sports is due to the specifics of their previous sports activities. At the same time, athletes who have previously engaged in sports with an acrobatic orientation have the skills to perform acrobatic tracks required in competitive activities in cheerleading. A good level of flexibility development in girls contributes to the implementation of complex static elements of competitive activity in cheerleading. A good level of development of strength abilities possessed by young men who have previously engaged in strength sports can serve as the basis for their successful performance of such elements of cheerleading as support and emissions. The significance of the conducted research lies in the establishment of the need to assess the initial level of readiness for sports improvement in the cheer sport of athletes who previously engaged in various sports. The information obtained will allow the coach to individualize the training process, focusing on the development of missing or underdeveloped qualities and skills of each athlete, which will allow him to determine the optimal competitive program of the team for the successful preparation of the team for the competition.","PeriodicalId":426710,"journal":{"name":"Current Issues of Sports Psychology and Pedagogy","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121163304","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article presents a theoretical justification for the use of short-term counseling with elite athletes, discusses the goals and objectives of short-term counseling, and describes two cases of working with elite athletes. The sport of the highest achievements is always associated with various objective and subjective difficulties; therefore, the main condition for the development of personal qualities of athletes is their readiness to overcome difficulties. The purpose of short-term counseling is to help elite athletes in situations of activity crisis that distinguishes it from other psychotherapeutic practices. The methodological justification of short-term counseling is the subject-activity approach developed by the outstanding Russian psychologist S. L. Rubinstein, according to which in the process of activity there is the formation and development of personal qualities of a person, as well as the development of his consciousness. In the course of 1-3 meetings, a sports psychologist can help athletes understand their own goals better, reevaluate the crisis situation, realize their resources, develop alternative solutions, and set athletes up for a pro-active behavior strategy.","PeriodicalId":426710,"journal":{"name":"Current Issues of Sports Psychology and Pedagogy","volume":"48 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121010678","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of the study was to identify and determine socio-psychological reasons for the termination of partnership of high-class dancers by the survey of respondents and further processing of the data obtained by the content analysis method. As a result of the conducted scientific research, 13 \"socio-psychological\" reasons were identified which can negatively influence dance partnership. In total, the survey participants identified 27 reasons for the ending of dance partnership. They can be distinguished to 3 different groups depending on their \"objectivity\". The relevance and scientific novelty of the study lies in the accurate calculation and differentiation of ambiguous reasons for the termination of dance partnership, which are associated with the inability or unwillingness of dancers to come to a consensus.","PeriodicalId":426710,"journal":{"name":"Current Issues of Sports Psychology and Pedagogy","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123966813","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main characteristics of social development are: industrial revolution, international integration, high dynamism of socio-economic and socio-cultural processes. It is proved that their future depends on the ability of young people to overcome life difficulties, to be ready to overcome external and internal difficulties. In this regard, it is extremely important to study the resilience of young people and the factors that determine them. The purpose of the study was to study the resilience of Kazakh youth depending on their involvement in sports, as well as to conduct a cross-cultural comparison of Kazakh and Russian youth in terms of resilience and well-being. Significant differences in the level of indicators of resilience among students engaged in sports compared with non-athletes students, both in the sample of Kazakhstan and Russia, were revealed. Correlation analysis showed that young people who plan their activities, know how to maintain the desired weight, exercise and positively evaluate their physical development indicators, as well as are focused on social activity and communication with people have a high level of resilience. The data obtained can be used in the development of strategies for working with the youth of Kazakhstan. Further investigation of the problem may be related to the development of trainings on the development of resilience, as well as the development of strategies for involving young people in active sports.","PeriodicalId":426710,"journal":{"name":"Current Issues of Sports Psychology and Pedagogy","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126793867","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of research was to study the relationship between the indicators of metacognitive knowledge, metacognitive involvement, metacognitive strategies and the level of mental self-regulation self- assessment of athletes depending on the gender. The study used the author’s methodology «Difficulties of self-regulation in sports-significant situations» and a questionnaire by G. Shrow, R. Dennison in the adaptation of A.V. 147 athletes (64 men and 83 women) aged 19–25 years participated in the study. The statistical data processing was carried out using the IBM SPSS Statistics 23.0 program. It was revealed that mental self-regulation in sports-significant situations is assessed at an average and good level both in the male and female samples of athletes. The male athletes rate their mental self-regulation higher with more developed metacognitive knowledge and inclusiveness, as well as with a higher efficiency of the metacognitive strategy of cognitive processes correction. The women rate their self-regulation resources higher if they are focused on comparing the parameters of cognitive processes with the results of activity. These studies can be useful for individualizing the psychological preparation of athletes.","PeriodicalId":426710,"journal":{"name":"Current Issues of Sports Psychology and Pedagogy","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125489001","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Ulyaeva","doi":"10.15826/spp.2021.1-2.11","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.15826/spp.2021.1-2.11","url":null,"abstract":"The article notes that the problem of giftedness (talent) and highquality sports selection cannot be solved only by measuring anthropometric indicators, or only by tests-questionnaires, conversations, interviews, observations, which are dominate in the sports psychologists arsenal of nowadays. Meanwhile, the scientific developments of the national differential psychophysiology, that expand the possibilities for solving the problems indicated in the article, are ignored. The psychophysiological approach proposed by the authors is based on the method for assessing the natural predisposition of the subject to the definite sports specializations that presupposes the algorithm of actions: instrumental measurement of the nervous system’s properties (NSP, or otherwise, – neurodynamic characteristics) by E.P. Ilyin’s motor techniques; determination of the individual neurodynamic characteristics of the subject and their comparison with the known, experimentally identified “model” neurodynamic characteristics, which dominate, in terms of frequency of occurrence, among representatives of high-performance sports. The authors note a well-known scientific fact – the human’s NSP are rather conservative to changes in the growing-up process, which is essential to justification for the proposed psychophysiological approach to the problem of giftedness and selection in sports. The indications of scientific data are also significant, which are confirming the trend that with many possible combinations measuring by NSP, as a part of typological complexes (TC), the number of the latest is steeply reduced to several or even to one, dominating among athletes who have reached a high level of skill. The article states that the knowledge of the model neurodynamic characteristics dominating among representatives of different specializations in high-performance sports is the experimental basis, considering which it becomes possible early (6 years and older) identification of potentially gifted athletes, which is quite practicable if the neurodynamic characteristics of the subject for whom the choice of sports specialization is made are also known. The article notes that the optimization of training programs in the chosen sports specialization is impossible without knowing the severity of natural psychological abilities, peculiarities, and an example is given of such a forecast for athletes with different playing positions (forward, goaltender, defender), where the forecast is based on individual neurodynamic characteristics.","PeriodicalId":426710,"journal":{"name":"Current Issues of Sports Psychology and Pedagogy","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121519205","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
