Their amplitudes, frequency and phase shift can be set through a keyboard pad. It consists of reference signal generators and amplifiers. The reference signal is generated using a microcontroller and two serial 16 bit digital to analog converters. The amplifiers use power transformers and feedback opamp circuits. The circuit can generate programmable 180-250 V/sub rms/ (1V/step) and 0.2-50 A/sub rms/ (0.1A/step) sources with 0.1% full scale error and 2% harmonic distortion. Its frequency can be adjusted from 45-55 Hz (0.1 Hz/step) with 0.1% error. In this paper, we focus on a tree structured P2P network for live media streaming. In our proposed P2P framework, the Prim-Dijkstra algorithm is used to construct the network spanning tree. A new fast parent searching method based on network triangle inequality is then developed for the newly arrived peers to join the P2P media streaming network. As the most previous multi-level partitioning algorithms force experimental constraints on the process of hierarchy construction, the stability of their performance goes down. We minimize the use of experimental constraints and propose a new method for constructing partition hierarchy. The proposed method clusters the cells with the connection status of the circuit. In addition, we indicate the weakness of previous algorithms where they used a uniform method for choice of cells during the improvement. To solve the problem, we propose a new IIP (iterative improvement partitioning) technique that selects the method to choose cells according to the improvement status. The experimental result on ACM/SIGDA benchmark circuits show improvement up to 2-56% in minimum cutsize over previous algorithm and our technique outperforms hMetis by 2-9% in minimum cutsize.","PeriodicalId":426683,"journal":{"name":"The 2004 IEEE Asia-Pacific Conference on Circuits and Systems, 2004. This receiver is a monolithic ultra-high frequency (UHF) receiver including radio-frequency (RF) front-end, intermediate-frequency (IF) stage, base-band stage and final filter without any spiral inductor. The proposed receiver was implemented with UMC 0.5 /spl mu/m CMOS DPDM processes. The sensitivity of the proposed receiver is -73 dBm. Its data rate can be operated at 2.4 kbits. The power consumption of this chip is 65 mW. In this paper, we present a new modulation structure for downlink base transmit station in WCDMA system. The new architecture has the following functional blocks: VQ separation, channel mapping, spreading and scrambling, SCH code generation, 48-tap pulse shaping filter, gain and snm, and timing generator. Implementation data shows that our approach works well in the complex spreading spec” system LINTRODUCTION According to the statistics from ITU investigation, there were 5 billion users of mobile phone in the late 2000’s. It’s about a half of the users of the wired phone. Some prediction also shows that the users of the mobile phone will be more than the nsers of the wired phone, and will be popular in 2005. Moreover, the combination of wireless communication and consumer electronic is a trend in the future. Therefore, offering a wideband and high-speed environment with multiple services is an important requirement for future wireless communication systems. The 3G mobile communication system is emphasized in the functions of multimedia services. The transmitting speed is from 384 Kbps to 2 Mbps. The leading system technologies are W-CDMA, the UTRA (W-CDMA and TD-CDMA), and the CDMAZOO. Since these three systems are so different, the organizations of 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) and 3GPP2 (3rd generation Partnership Project 2) are sponsored to coordinate these standards and make them interoperable. This paper presents a new architecture of downlink base transmit station (BTS) modulator in WCDMA system. For the simulation results, we find that our architecture can achieve the requirement of 3GPP. Section 2 introduces the 3GPP downlink BTS modulator specification. Section 3 introduces the transmitting method of the modulator. Section 4 presents the function blocks of the modulator and their interfaces. Section 5 gives the simulation results. According to the estimated speed, one of the FIR filter is selected to eliminate the noise with a width less than three sample periods and/or with a frequency less than one fifth of the sampling frequency. Simulations and experiments at speeds of 30 rpm, 300 rpm, and 1000 rpm are given.
