This study aimed to explore and describe the lived experiences of PLWHIV in accessing nutrition education and counselling. This study was conducted in Lusaka District, Zambia. It adopted a hermeneutic phenomenological design. A total of 25 participants, aged between 20 and 60 and on antiretroviral therapy (ART) for over three years, were purposively selected, and semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. The study revealed that individuals with PLWHIV benefited from nutrition education and counselling, despite challenges like transportation, limited resources, and personnel shortages. The study concluded that nutrition education and counselling significantly impact PLWHIV's health, leading to positive changes in dietary practices and overall well-being. However, challenges in accessibility and acceptability persist, requiring improvements in healthcare infrastructure and resources. Recommendations include enhancing nutrition counselling services, promoting regular physical activity, collaborating with healthcare facilities and community organisations, monitoring and evaluating services, and identifying best practices to enhance care quality.","PeriodicalId":421703,"journal":{"name":"British Journal of Multidisciplinary and Advanced Studies","volume":"44 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139184612","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These models perform multiparametric analysis on the given process sets in order to recommend high quality decisions that assist in improving process-based efficiency levels. A wide variety of models are proposed by researchers for implementation of such recommenders, and each of them varies in terms of their functional nuances, applicative advantages, internal operating characteristics, contextual limitations, and deployment-specific future scopes. Thus, it is difficult for researchers and process designers to identify optimal models for their functionality-specific use cases. Due to which, they tend to validate multiple process models, which increases deployment time, cost & complexity levels.To overcome this ambiguity, a detailed survey of different decision process recommendation models is discussed in this text. It was observed that Fuzzy Logic, Analytical Hierarchical Processing (AHP), Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), and their variants are highly useful for recommendation of efficient decisions. Based on this survey, readers will be able to identify recently proposed decision recommendation models, and identify functionality-specific models for their deployments. To further assist the model selection process, this text compares the reviewed models in terms of their computational complexity, efficiency of recommendation, delay needed for recommendation, scalability and contextual accuracy levels. Based on this comparison, readers will be able to identify performance-specific models for their deployments. This text also proposes evaluation of a novel Decision Recommendation Rank Metric (DRRM), which combines these parameters, in order to identify models that can optimally perform w.r.t. multiple process metrics. Referring to this parameter comparison, readers will be able to identify optimal recommendation models for enhancing performance of their decision recommendations under real-time scenarios.","PeriodicalId":421703,"journal":{"name":"British Journal of Multidisciplinary and Advanced Studies","volume":"53 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139236081","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research focused on assessing mothers' knowledge of malaria infection among under-five children, exploring their perceptions of malaria infection in this age group, and examining the determinants contributing to malaria infection in this specific population. A descriptive survey research design was employed, and data were collected from 217 mothers attending the Child Welfare Clinic through convenience sampling. A questionnaire named \"Determinants of Malaria Infection Questionnaire\" (DMIQ) was used for data collection, which underwent validation and reliability testing. Descriptive statistics were employed for data analysis, including frequency counts, percentages, mean, and standard deviation. The findings revealed varying levels of knowledge and perceptions among mothers regarding malaria in under-five children, highlighting areas for potential improvement in malaria education and awareness campaigns. It was recommended among others that nurses should implement targeted educational programs and awareness campaigns aimed at mothers to improve their knowledge about malaria infection among under-five children. These campaigns should cover topics such as malaria causes, transmission, symptoms, and preventive measures. Special emphasis should be placed on correcting misconceptions, such as the belief that antibiotics can cure malaria.","PeriodicalId":421703,"journal":{"name":"British Journal of Multidisciplinary and Advanced Studies","volume":"14 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139235384","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Three hundred a day old chicks were randomly assigned to five treatments designated as T1, T2, T3, T4 and T5 supplemented with MOLM (0, 5, 7.5, 10 and 12.5%) respectively. The results did not show body weight gain, feed intake and final weight increased with increased inclusion levels of MOLM, so also was the feed conversion ratio. The cumulative feed conversion ratio was better in T2. The levels of MOLM had no significant effect on carcass relative weight, Haemoglobin (HB), white blood cells (WBC), albumin and total plasma protein increased with increasing levels of MOLM. Mortality rates decreased with increasing levels of MOLM. The best result however, was obtained in T2 (5%) inclusion level. It could be concluded that addition of Moringa Oleifera leaves improved broiler performance, physiological parameters and enhanced the ability to resist heat stress conditions of broilers fed corn-soybean meal diet","PeriodicalId":421703,"journal":{"name":"British Journal of Multidisciplinary and Advanced Studies","volume":"120 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139236105","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This approach aims to use geolocation technologies to identify and locate people responsible for wrongdoing such as violations of the law in force in the town of Kananga. This system will therefore make it possible to collect precise data on offenders, which will facilitate their identification, prosecution and punishment. The objective is to improve the security and effectiveness of the measures taken to combat crime in the town of Kananga. This system could also help deter criminal acts by providing increased traceability of criminal activity. In this study, we organize our reflection around a few anchor points that we consider with regard to the general argument of this research. Apart from the introduction and the general conclusion, our subject includes four parts, in which we will specifically treat the analysis of the offense in Congolese law and its legal regime, an overview of geolocation (the geographic information system), the deployment of a surveillance camera system in the town of Kananga, as well as the modeling and implementation of a new geolocation system with a view to improving the pursuit of the offender.","PeriodicalId":421703,"journal":{"name":"British Journal of Multidisciplinary and Advanced Studies","volume":"12 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139236113","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, there has been unhealthy trend in which construction of foreign costumes is gaining popularity within the country’s fashion design education programmes over the longstanding traditional costumes. The trend is also reflected in research by the minimal studies that have been done in the construction of Ghanian Traditional Costumes as compared to the many studies that have been done on construction of traditional costumes originating from developed economies. This study sought to examine possible relationships between quality of the modules being used to teach fashion design programmes within Technical Universities in Ghana and the students’ ability to construct quality Ghanaian Traditional Costumes. A convergent mixed method research design was used to facilitate this study with six Technical Universities in Ghana. The study established statistically significant relationship between the two aspects of teaching approaches of TC construction and students’ ability to construct Ghanaian Traditional Costumes.","PeriodicalId":421703,"journal":{"name":"British Journal of Multidisciplinary and Advanced Studies","volume":"38 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139236567","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study sought to examine the extent to which skill variety, task identity, task significance, task autonomy as well as feedback significantly affects organizational performance (employees’ motivation, job satisfaction, employees’ commitment, employees’ involvement) of public sector organizations in the state. The study adopted survey research design. The population of the study was four hundred (400). The sample size was 196 respondents from the Cross River State Board of Internal Revenue Service, Calabar, determined by Krejcie and Morgan Table of 1970. The study revealed that skill variety, task identity, task significance, task autonomy as well as job feedback significantly affects organizational performance of public sector organizations in the state. Based on the findings, the study recommended that the government and management of public sector organizations should at all times design jobs based on skill variety, task identity and task significance in order to increase organizational performance continuously. The government as well as management should also be granting task autonomy to workers while performing their routine jobs and responsibilities, for this will in turn enhance employees as well as organizational performance steadily.","PeriodicalId":421703,"journal":{"name":"British Journal of Multidisciplinary and Advanced Studies","volume":"38 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139236671","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Here it is: Agriculture employs around 60% of the Indian population and accounts for about 18% of India's GDP; yet, low productivity is due to a lack of research in this industry. Water logging, soil erosion, nitrogen shortage, and other issues plague Indian agricultural land. These are the primary causes of agriculture's low productivity. A farmer must spend a significant amount of time and money on farming, which is more extensive and time intensive than using a tractor. As a result, the cost of agriculture has increased. It is critical to use machine learning techniques and computational research to the agriculture industry in order for India to become a better quantity and quality food producer. ML approaches are particularly beneficial for building relationships and abstracting patterns between disparate data sets, as well as forecasting a realistic outcome as an output. It can be successfully implemented in the Indian agriculture sector to increase efficiency. We've talked about how machine learning techniques can be used in the Indian agriculture industry to assess soil fertility. Agriculture has long been one of the most fascinating study and analytical topics. This research aims to assess soil data based on a variety of characteristics, classify it, and increase the efficiency of each model using multiple terms and classifications. The major goal of this study and analysis is to classify soil fertility (behavior) indices by area using village-level soil fertility data.","PeriodicalId":421703,"journal":{"name":"British Journal of Multidisciplinary and Advanced Studies","volume":"75 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139238133","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The adopted the qualitative mode of inquiry and used the descriptive research design. The study sought to address three objectives: (i). To establish the views of teachers on classroom language practices in selected multilingual primary schools of Choma district. (ii). To analyse classroom language practices by learners and teachers in selected multilingual primary schools of Choma District. (iii). To ascertain the prospects of translanguaging in multilingual classrooms of selected primary schools of Choma district. The sample size was 852 participants comprising, 16 teachers who were teaching grade 1 and 2 classes in the lower primary section and 836 pupils from four lower primary classes.   Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data that were gathered through interviews and observations of classroom lessons. The findings revealed that teachers used translanguaging to promote linguistic inclusivity and diversity. Additionally, the study showed that most grades 1 and 2 classes of Choma district were multilingual in the sense that both teachers and learners were able to speak more than one language. Furthermore, the study found that teachers encountered communication difficulties when instructing learners from various linguistic backgrounds in Tonga because learners found it difficult to understand the language of instruction (Tonga) consistently especially first graders. As a result, some teachers had to switch from Tonga to other languages spoken by learners in class to foster their understanding. The study also established that translanguaging was a promising strategy for teaching diverse learners in multilingual classes of Choma district as it improved learners’ participation, cognition and aided the connection of what they were doing in class to their language of play and home language. The study recommended that grades teachers of Choma district needed orientation on how to use translanguaging and code switching in culturally and linguistically diverse classes. In addition, the study recommended that policy makers such as the Directorate of Curriculum Development (DCD) and Ministry of Education should reconsider the use of monolingual practices in primary schools and adopt translanguaging practices for teacher training institutions to reinforce the component in their curricular.","PeriodicalId":421703,"journal":{"name":"British Journal of Multidisciplinary and Advanced Studies","volume":"259 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139238158","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
