The array performance degrades, if it is introduced with the tapered amplitude error. This performance degradation problem due to tapered errors can be solved by using a higher immune tapered window. This paper proposes that Gaussian excited linear array (GELA) provides higher immunity against these applied amplitude errors compared to the other window techniques. To measure the immunity against amplitude errors, two Side lobes are compared before and after feeding errors. It is shown that the proposed GELA beamformer offers only a maximum of $-2.07 mathrm {d}mathrm {B}$ side lobe level (SLL) deviation from the expected. It provides as good directivity as uniformly excited linear array (UELA) tapered beamformer. It is found that an optimized erbium doped fiber (EDF) length and appropriate pumping configuration is required to achieve the widest tuning range. In addition, forward and bidirectional pumping configurations are compared to find the best-case scenario. Two TCSCs are connected in series with both interconnectors and two SVCs and STATCOMs are connected alternatively in shunt mode at the receiving end of both interconnectors. Steady state, Modal and Transient stability analyses are performed to show the improving effect of series shunt combined compensation on stability and capacity enhancement of EWIS. In case of shunt compensation superiority of STATCOM is also shown in comparison to SVC. Even though mHealth got more attention but its adoption are still limited due to lack of awareness and wide level of education in developing countries. With the advancement of technology people are very concerned about the life and life style. After the marriage, couples hope for a wonderful life ahead. However there are lots of concerns which arise in their mind regarding the conjugal life as well as issues related to before, during and after pregnancy. The aim of this paper is to analyze the potential to support them utilizing mHealth. Accordingly we explored research articles, papers and available mobile applications based on the problems a married couple faced during their life stages. We also performed a survey in a large hospital to identify the problems that faced by pregnant women and their family. From our investigation we identified stages required for mhealth adoption for married couples. Consequently it created the opportunities to develop a smart application that can help to address the need. In particular, the app can able to provide the planning of a couple for the contraceptives or to conceive, pregnancy planning and tracking with guideline needed for a pregnant woman along with the role of both husband and wife to help out and finally everything after the birth of the baby. So, in this paper we are motivated to design a protocol to securely outsourcing of large scale linear regression(LR) to cloud. We use the idea of permutation and padding techniques to hide the original inputs. The overall dimension of the presented antenna is 10 x 10 x 0.8 mm3 and has a square radiating patch with an inverted F-shaped slot, a chicken neck slotted feed line and a slotted ground plane. By optimizing the size of the slots on the ground and the patch, the antenna is made to have a wide bandwidth of 13.9 GHz (27–40.9 GHz) which cover three different SG bands (28 GHz, 37 GHz and 39 GHz) at reflection coefficient $811 lt $-15dB. This problem can be addressed by reducing the irrelevant features for the task of classification. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is a popular feature extraction technique but it depends solely on global variance which makes it limited for some application. To address this, a target class oriented feature reduction method is proposed which incorporates the normalized Mutual Information (NMI) over PCA images to maximize the relevance of the selected subspace. Experimental analysis is performed to assess the effectiveness of the proposed method and the selected subspace is evaluated using kernel Support Vector Machine (KSVM) classifier. EEG signal analysis includes filtration of raw EEG signal against the noise and antiquity introduced by different system barrier and drawbacks. An improved way of EEG signal analysis using DWT based filtration based on FPGA is proposed in this paper. The system mainly uses the basic concept of DWT for filter design that performs de-noising and used for obtaining important information from EEG signal. In this work Verilog HDL coding is used for simulation purposes. It has many advantages like low switching loss, high dv/dt stress, low THD. But it has also disadvantage like for higher level required more switching devices, huge size, high cost. This paper mainly proposed a newly invented topology with a reduced switch belongs to only eight switches, four voltage sources, and two power diodes to produce twenty-one level voltage waveforms. The major advantage of this proposed inverter ends in diminished size, lesser loss, along with low installation cost, and it is suitable for high power applications. The simulation results for different switching angle calculation methods especially Equal Phase (EP) method and Half Height (HH) method are analyzed and presented.
