Methodology: the information was obtained through an own survey applied to a sample of 58 shrimp farmers located in the municipality of Ahome, Sinaloa; This information was processed using the tools of social networks analysis (SNA) for the construction of graphs and the estimation of global measures of the network. Results: the study manages to graphically represent the knowledge network of Ahome shrimp farmers and appreciate that it has a star-like structure, where almost all producers are mainly and directly connected to two central points, a government health agency and a civil association that promotes technology transfer. Limitations. The reconstruction of the network, in its structure or composition, is carried out based on a limited sample size. For this purpose, the case of the Sonora-Arizona Region is taken as a reference. Methodology: The evolution and current situation of the formation of the CBRIS in the Sonora-Arizona Region is taken as a basis, in order to carry out a contrasting exercise with the experience and lessons obtained in the EU, a leading region in this matter. For the analysis, the dimensions of innovation, proximity / distance and governance are considered. Results: The European experience represents a great reference to understand the perspectives and challenges to build an integrated CBRIS. Among the central contrasting aspects are the motivations and approach adopted on the integration and formation of cross-border innovation spaces, with a more comprehensive vision, of social and territorial cohesion, and greater institutionalization at the supra-national level. Limitations: There are relatively few comprehensive studies on the evolution, results and impacts of CBRIS. This represents an area of opportunity to advance theoretically and methodologically on the subject. Conclusions: Geographic proximity and political will, although necessary, are not sufficient conditions for the establishment of strengthened CBRIS. It is required to have the basic components of an innovation system. This system aims to become an alternative to western individualistic development. Methodology: the practitorio works under the methodology of revaluation participative action research and the farmer-to-farmer methodology for the exchange of knowledge and productive experiences. Results: The practitorio has four main areas: agro-ecological production, product trade with the use of practices from alternative economies, exchange of rural knowledge, as well as dissemination of rural experiences through different media. Limitations: Problems of access to some communities, the resistance of some people regarding the precepts that guide the practice, contradictions between what is said and what is done due to socio-cultural conditions, as well as scarcity of financial and human resources have made it difficult for the practitiorio to be more widely accepted in the region. Conclusions: We recognize that the adoption of practices tending to good living in the south of Jalisco will be slow and long-term, since it involves a substantial cultural change that, logically, is gradual. Methodology: In order to identify the main sustainable viticulture practices, a questionnaire was designed to collect information that would allow us to build the index of adoption of sustainable practices by categories: water, energy and soil, air and community, which in 2018 was applied to a sample of 18 viticulturists, out of a total of 31. Results: According to the results, the indexes of adoption of sustainable practices (IAPS) were estimated for three categories: Water, Energy and Soil, air and community. The index for the water category is 71 % and for the energy category it is only 52 %. The IAPS for soil, air and community is 62 %. Limitations: The lack of an adequate record of the number of winegrowers in the area and the coordination of times with producers. Methodology: An analysis and diagnosis of the traditional agricultural production system and the technology named Milpa Intercalada con Arboles Frutales (MIAF) system were carried out to identify the main problems, strengths and weaknesses of both systems. With these elements, a model of association and organization was structured, in which producers are partners and have a means (organization) to make technical decisions. Results: The elements of the model to scale MIAF technology more quickly were, organization, technical assistance, financing, transformation and market. Limitations: The lack of integration of the association-organization can limit the application of this model. Methodology: Qualitative, descriptive and comparative research design. Study unit: 9 rural towns. Discourse analysis, comparison and risk weighting. Results: Preliminary results of 3 populations studied: there are divergent views of the impact on health of environmental determinants. In social representations of the air factor as risk, the economic-productive aspects prevail over health and place the population at a crossroads. Various factors linked to agricultural production and water quality share the same risk weight in the three localities of Santa Fe. Limitations: empirical difficulties in identifying localities with a single production system exclusively focused on livestock and extensive agriculture.
