Relying on the theoretical-method-ological support of the History of Linguistic Ideas from a discursive perspective, we also make use of categorizations proposed by Auroux (1998), Marcello-Nilzia and Petiot (1997) and Dias (2007) on exemplification to reflect on the reading promoted by a Brazilian scholar, Said Ali, in Questões de Português (1911), a critical review of the work Os problemas da Colocação de pronomes (1909), by Cândido de Figueiredo, a Portuguese scholar. We go through, in the materiality of the exempli-fication woven from works by Brazilian and Portuguese authors, some points of a dispute for the legitimacy of saying how the language is, and we analytically recover stumbles, failures, misun-derstandings and contradictions marked by reading gestures. In addition to contributing to stud-ies on exemplification, our work also contributes to the history of knowledge produced about the language, especially in/from Brazil. To do so, we adopted as corpus a sample of about 50 epitaphs collected at the Cemitério dos Inocentes, one of the oldest cemeteries in the city of Porto Velho, capital of Rondônia, state located in the Brazilian Amazon. We understand the Christian discourse as that which is essentially based on the belief that Jesus of Nazareth would be the “Christ”, the son of God prophesied in the ancient biblical scriptures, whose life and whose teachings are presented in the New Testament. We analyzed six planes of the global semantics of the statements of the sample – vocabulary, intertextuality, themes, typography, enunciative deixis and mode of enunciation. {"title":"Populismo contra Populismo: uma análise pragmático-discursiva sobre a polémica verbal em artigos de opinião sobre a toxicodependência em Portugal","authors":"Mariana Silva Ninitas","doi":"10.21747/21833958/red12a10","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21747/21833958/red12a10","url":null,"abstract":"This paper presents the results of an exploratory work, whose main goal is to analyze the construction of verbal polemics in opinion articles about drug addiction in Portugal. Assuming that verbal polemics’ main focus is the disqualification of the opponent, and following the perspec-tives of Discourse Analysis, Pragmatics and Studies on Argumentation, we conclude that the au-thors of the texts under analysis, more than fencing arguments that support or overthrow a certain idea about drug addiction, concentrated their action on discrediting their opponent. To this end, they resorted, fundamentally, to ad personam arguments, but also ad hominem ones, attacking their opponent’s face. Complementarily, from the analyzed data, we corroborate the idea that populism – a term used several times throughout the opinion articles, including both titles – does not have a consensual definition, even though the belief that it has a negative connotation, which is why it serves as an offense to the opponent (regardless of the political quadrant). En este trabajo se analiza el impacto que tiene la asistencia personal en la inclusión social del colectivo de personas con problemas de salud mental. Para ello, se ha utilizado una metodología de índole cualitativa mediante una prospección bibliográfica, entrevistas individuales y grupos de discusión. Analizar las políticas de inclusión y metodologías en el ámbito universitario en otros países que describen, de manera explícita, unos requisitos inherentes. Determinar la validez de tales requisitos como herramienta facilitadora de una educación de calidad al alumnado con discapacidad. Metodología: se realiza una revisión de alcance de artículos académicos en bases de datos y de otras fuentes de información relevantes para la materia de investigación, seleccionando finalmente 25 documentos de Reino Unido y Australia. Resultados: se presenta un marco de actuación que, de manera organizada y proactiva, describe los requisitos inherentes de un curso académico y facilita la dotación de ajustes razonables dentro de un currículo inclusivo. Conclusiones: resulta necesario acercarse hacia nuevas aproximaciones metodológicas y repensar los currículos actuales para asegurar la no discriminación del alumnado con discapacidad en las universidades españolas.
