It is difficult for fewer experts to visit a large number of farms to analyze the pest and diseases and to provide alerts to other farmers in the same region. Therefore, remote classification of pest and diseases is essential to advise on appropriate corrective actions to the farmers. In this paper, we propose a mobile phone based crowdsourcing approach to detect the emergence of plant diseases in a region by aggregating information from multiple farmers. The proposed crowdsourcing approach is based on the binary decision tree that helps to minimize the number of questions to be asked to the farmers and results in an accurate and reliable decisions on plant diseases. Traditional classification approaches classify a test sample or point based on its proximity to classes of a training set, where proximity is generally taken as some variant of the Euclidean distance in the original or some transformed higher dimensional space. However, we may need to have more intrinsic and computable features of samples than just Euclidean position since classes or patterns usually live on generalized manifolds (that might change in time as well) and thus need an easily parametrizable and computable but powerful notion of “distance” for classification of test samples that may be closer to a class manifolds by distance as well as by orientation or curvature. Our classification approach takes a step in this direction and infers a “local orientation or structure” by computing an already known tensor representation of the training set and performs classification based on the usual distance as well as the estimated (or given) local orientation. In our paper, we describe a novel Eager classification scheme where the central idea is that a kernel ridge regression is carried out on the TV output during the training phase itself so that only evaluation using the kernel is needed during the test phase, achieving a significant speed-up in testing time on benchmark datasets when compared to the lazy learning classifier without much compromise in classification accuracy. The only variable parameter in our approach is the scale of the voting. Detection of rogue AP is a challenge for network administrator. Undetected rogue APs are serious threats which steal sensitive information from the network. There are many techniques used for detection of fake AP. But these solutions are expensive and not applicable for many scenarios. We need an effective solution which provides a high success rate for detection of rogue AP. In this paper we have discussed existing techniques for detection of rogue AP with its effectiveness and weaknesses. The ability of EEMD to detect intermittent high frequency data embedded in the data of lower frequency is exploited to segregate the Epoch locations and the Periodic nature of EGG signal. The dyadic filterbank property of EEMD segregates the EGG signal into intrinsic mode functions (IMFs), in decreasing order of frequency. Hilbert envelope (HE) and moving average filter are used to determine the epoch locations and compute the pitch frequency from the first IMF, whereas pitch frequency is computed directly from latter IMFs. The proposed antenna configuration is designed and optimized by simulation studies using IE3D simulation software, which is based on the Method of Moments (MOM). Combination of CMOS and SET technology facilitates new advantageous functionalities. The proposed hybrid SET-CMOS based half subtractor is implemented and simulated using T-SPICE. The simulation results are successfully verified with the truth table for the half subtractor. Two different approaches of SET-CMOS hybrid design is explained in this paper. Two main parts of the circuit is formed with the Single electron transistor based network and MOS transistor based network. The circuit of the half subtractor designed using both the approaches is presented in this paper. The stability analysis of the designed circuit is also explained in this paper with the stability plot. For the calculation of optimal filter coefficients, L1 optimization criterion is adopted. It is seen that filters in L1 sense posses flat passband and stopband while retaining a transition band, which is comparable to existing filter design techniques. Using this regulation the over /under injection by the generators during off-peak/peak hours are discouraged and the frequency is maintained within a range amongst five regional grids of India. This work follows the rules of frequency regulation based on unscheduled interchange (UI) charges for power flow between three interconnected area having different combinations of thermal, hydro and diesel power generators. This UI based secondary frequency control scheme is simulated in MATLAB/Simulink. Vowels and semivowels are considered as VLRs. By using vocal tract features at the input layer of DBN, we extract an evidence for VLRs by transforming the vocal tract features through multiple non-linear hidden layers. The linear classifier is used to predict the class of evidence, i.e.,whether it is VLR or not. The DBN method is then combined with excitation source (ES) based method for VLRs detection. To minimize the effects of cross-core interference, dynamic cache partitioning can be applied at run-time. Cache partitioning can be applied to improve the utilization of the shared cache. However, this scheme must be scalable as the number of cores increases. The Lotka-Volterra competition model is a popular model in biology which models population growth based on species' interactions. This paper uses a mathematical model of the shared-cache multi-core processor based on the Lotka-Volterra (LV) competition model and investigates the effectiveness of the dynamic cache partitioning scheme as the number of cores sharing the cache increase.
