Oswald recria essa realidade de maneira dialogica, elaborando um retrato do pais em que a cor local se manifesta a partir das tradicoes que remontam ao passado colonial e imperial, abarcando tambem uma certa cultura popular e do cotidiano em que a religiosidade, as crencas, as supersticoes entram em confronto e em sintonia com a modernidade tecnologica. Desse confronto, surge uma certa identidade nacional fruto de dimensoes polarizadas, mas que se interpenetram, sem se excluirem. O recurso da dialogia e intensificado por uma perspectiva em que se manifestam os impasses e disjuncoes dessa polarizacao, como tambem de sua orgânica coexistencia. Perhaps unsurprisingly, its playful wordplay, urban mappings, and fractured form have prompted comparisons to Virginia Woolf’s Mrs. Dalloway, as well as to the work of James Joyce, Gertrude Stein, and T. S. Eliot. This essay argues that Zadie Smith, among other contemporary writers of color, responds to an awareness that reviewers, critics, and readers would compare her work to European literary modernism. Thus, we dialogue with Bakhtin´s Circle enunciative perspective, especially Bakhtin (2011) and Volochinov (2017). Assuming that the justice symbol constitute as ideological sign, because it is the place of meeting of senses. The analysed materials showed how the authors work the (re)signification of justice materializing ponto f views, valorative positions before the current juridical, political brazilian scenario. Although, the utterances also reveal other discourses, preciselly in terms off emale figure. In this sense, we noted that the criticals to the justice used the female figure in relation to sensualization, as a prostitute, a woman that sells her body as a naughty. The female body seems always as an object to be sold and, in a male figure, has na owner. In light of these theoretical frameworks, we undertake a discursive analysis of a cover of Exame magazine, approaching the issue of social security's reform in Brazil - proposed by Michel Temer's government in 2016 - and a parody of that same text. The results of the analysis allows to comprehend that both capture and subversion are part of the same process and that, in the context of intersemiotic practices on the Internet between different discursive formations, they are part of a discursive competence repertoire of a community that stands against neoliberal discourses. In this sense, we propose to undertake, in this paper, a discussion about the displacements through which the notions of history and memory have passed within the subject since its foundation in 1969, in order to discuss the operationalization and productivity of these notions as they currently are. The objective is to describe how the discursive instances of corporate and alternative media chain genres from different social spheres in the event meaning process. Monnerat","doi":"10.12957/matraga.2020.46953","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.12957/matraga.2020.46953","url":null,"abstract":"This paper, having as its main theoretical scope the Semiolinguistics of Discourse Analysis, created by Patrick Charaudeau, analyses a cover of Veja magazine, in order to verify the way the “communicating self” constructs  the semiotized political person, articulating both verbal and nonverbal texts. Thus, it is observed if the “communication self”, as representative of the magazine, reinforces or refutes the image (ethos) normally constructed by the person portrayed. Moreover, in order that people are not only considered  bankroll readers, but effective buyers and assiduous readers of the issue, Veja, among various credibility and grasp strategies, makes use of two main ones – engagement and role play, with pathos effects. In this sense, besides the study of ethos , we intend to analyse, through Discourse Analysis bias, the emotion from the intended effects. The initial analysis reveals that there is no impartiality in transforming a gross event into a semiotized event and, therefore, already interpreted through the speaker’s point of view.
