Dahl 137 restrictions of Dahl’s dictionary, there are morphological restrictions, which fix the obligatory forms of syntagmatically related words by means of generalizing pronouns; syntactic restrictions accompanying syntactically bound meanings with an indication of the corresponding conditions of use; lexical restrictions outlining a list of context partners, in combination with which the interpreted meaning is realized. Restrictions of the objectlogical content of a word do not affect the change in meaning in terms of marking or dependence; they fully depend on the process of categorization, by the peculiarities of delimitating certain areas of reality by this language. The extra-linguistic factor underlies the restrictions of the situational context, which verbalize information of an encyclopedic nature in the dictionary: historical, social, cultural, ideological. Restrictions of pragmatic nature are represented in the dictionary by a wide variety of emotional-expressive and functional-stylistic marks, as well as marks and comments that characterize the social differentiation of the language. A special place is occupied by restrictions that translate communicatively meaningful information about the asymmetry of social roles. Предварительные замечания. Актуальность исследования Лексическая система – это объект социальный, исторический и культурный, так как все реализации системы в узусе социально обусловлены и функционально дифференцированы. Лексикографическое описание кодифицированных, нормативно значимых вариантов употребления лексики неизбежно предполагает включение в словарную статью разного рода ограничений. Под ограничением мы понимаем любую лексикографически существенную информацию, не выводимую непосредственно из лексической семантики, но значимую для правильного употребления слова. В современных толковых словарях русского языка слово получает достаточно обширную, комплексную характеристику: толкование лексического значения, грамматическую характеристику, сведения о парадигме, управлении, стилистическую характеристику и пр. Вместе с тем в качестве факультативных зон в словарной статье имеются особые фрагменты, которые оформлены скобками, пометами или ремаркамикомментариями и содержат информацию об ограничениях на употребление данной лексемы. However, in Dostoevsky Studies, the inner world of the writer’s characters has PHILOLOGICAL CLASS. Vol. 26. No. 3 64 never been considered in terms of the interconnection of emotions, impressions and imagination, which determines the novelty of the study and popularizes the hermeneutic method. The movements of the soul of Dostoevsky’s characters follow a certain paradigm: emotions – impression – imagination – ideas. In some cases, when it comes to such a type as character-ideologist, this can lead to the generation of an idea, its emotional experience at a new level and the submission of a character to their own idea, which may turn into an obsession. The mental experiences of the characters, their emotions and the content of ideas include an evaluation element, which means that in the future they can be considered from the point of view of axiology. The purpose of this study is to trace on the basis of the analysis of the novel “Poor People” how the mental life of the main characters is depicted: the emotional mismatch between Makar Devushkin and Varen’ka, the impressiveness of each of them and the peculiarity of the work of imagination, stimulated by emotions. Varen’ka is more focused on thoughts about her own fate in the present and past. Makar Devushkin has “too kind a heart”, and therefore he is more emotionally responsive to the feelings of another person than Varen’ka. Therefore, he perceives the grief of another person – Gorshkov or Varen’ka – as his own. At certain points, Makar Devushkin arrives at the formulation of “ideas”, which he calls “freethinking”, although in this image, the ability to ideologize is not more important than characterizing the personage. The analysis of the novel in the indicated aspect allows us to enrich the idea of psychologism of Dostoevsky’s novels and the writer’s artistic individuology. The results of the study can be used by teachers of Russian Literature and scholars exploring Dostoyevsky’s legacy to develop their own scientific concepts. {"title":"А. М. REMIZOV AND FOLKLORE: ON THE ISSUE OF RESEARCH METHODOLOGY","authors":"Yana V. Nagornaya","doi":"10.51762/1fk-2021-26-02-13.","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.51762/1fk-2021-26-02-13.","url":null,"abstract":"The article presents a critical review of research works on the topic “Folklore-literary interaction in the creative activity of A.M. Remizov” published in Russian. The study of the topic has been conducted mainly within the framework of literary criticism. Meanwhile, for a writer known for his commitment to preservation and innovative approach to traditional literary genres, folklore is one of the dominant sources of creativity. Currently, Remizov studies cannot boast of generalizing works on folklorism in the writer’s creative activity and on the influence of oral folk art genres on his artistic system, so one of the aims of the article is to attract scholarly interest to the issue and stimulate further research in this area. The publication gives a brief description of the current state of research on the problem, identifies the main vectors of its consideration and reveals the academic lacunae. The author analyzes the works, which deal with the creative heritage from the point of view of folklore studies and address the problems of the typology of folklorism and mythologism of the writer, clarify the range of folklore sources and the specificity of working with them, as well as the role and function of the author’s comments on the miniatures of Posoloni. These notes to the texts were created under the influence of a literary scandal related to the accusation of the writer of plagiarism. The assessment of the events around this incident by specialists in Remisov studies and folklorists does not coincide, the article outlines prospects for further research. The author undertakes a detailed description of the influence of the texts of calendar rite, spiritual verses, fairy tale, conspiracy-spell tradition, folk drama, children’s folklore and Russian folk pictures on the writer’s creative activity. For the first time, the author poses a hypothesis about the possible influence of the aesthetics of rayok (“World Cosmorama”) on the work of A. M. Remizov by the example of the fairy-tale novella “What is Tobacco”, which which depicts the reformatting of the apocryphal model by artistic means of lubok and rayok. The analysis of numerous studies made it possible for the author of the article to conclude that the writer’s creative activity does not only reflect the real diversity of folklore genres but also such specific features of them as oral format and variability. Статья посвящена анализу литературно-критических эссе видного английского писателя, публициста XVIII в. Джозефа Уортона, которого представляют, как правило, лишь в качестве зачинателя пересмотра ценности художественного наследия А. Поупа и одного из родоначальников предромантического движения в Англии. При этом корпус публикаций Уортона в журнале «Эдвенчерер» дает возможность более полно и объективно изучить истоки и фундаментальные положения его эстетической теории, отличавшейся гетерогенностью и отразившей состояние переходности в английской литературе и литературной критике середины XVIII в. Цель данной статьи – всесторонне рассмотреть эссеистику Дж. Уортона с целью уточнения особенностей его литературно-критического метода и определения его роли в процессе формирования английского предромантизма. Методология исследования опирается на обновленную концепцию английского литературного процесса XVIII в., которая представляет его не столько с позиций стадиальности, сколько как комплексный феномен, отличающийся компромиссностью идейно-художественных исканий писателей и критиков и взаимопроникновением ведущих литературных методов. В статье анализируются в широком контексте античной и английской эстетической мысли генезис эстетики Уортона и специфика его взглядов на миметическую природу творчества, рассматриваются основные положения его концепций воображения, возвышенного и патетического, проявленные в литературно-критических текстах журнала «Эдвенчерер», раскрываются позиция Уортона в споре «древних и новых» и его представления о жанровой поэтике. В ходе исследования показано, что определяющее значение в эстетике Уортона имеет категория возвышенного, представления о которой у него сложились под влиянием Псевдо-Лонгина, Квинтилиана и Аддисона и которая определяет особенности его рецепции библейских текстов, творчества Гомера и Шекспира. При этом литературная теория английского мыслителя восходит в равной мере к как к псевдо-лонгиновскому, так и к горацианскому началам, актуализирующим, соответственно, оригинальное и универсальное в художественной репрезентации, что обусловливает взаимодействие в его литературной критике классицистических (августианских) и предромантических подходов. The aim of the study is to find answers to the following questions: what kind of socio-cultural material is presented in these textbooks, does it create the preconditions for intercultural communication, what image of Russia is formed among Slovak students when they study Russian using these textbooks? The research material includes 13 textbooks used in teaching the Russian language in secondary schools and universities in Slovakia. The research methods comprise the following: content-analysis of curricula and textbooks, questioning, interviewing. The study showed that modern Russian language textbooks used in secondary schools and universities in Slovakia contain rich socio-cultural material. It contains facts of artistic culture and scientific achievements of Russia, provides information about events, personalities and situations of modern everyday communication. The realities of Russian life are reflected in textbooks scantily but rether benevolently. It creates a basis for intercultural communication and contributes to the formation of a positive image of Russia and the Russian people. Sebald, Vladimir Vertlib, Alexei Makushinsky, and many other contemporary writers around the world challenge both readers and researchers. These authors tend to have a (trans)migrant background and establish their texts at the intersection of many cultural codes, languages, and sign systems. Literary translingualism and multimodality from particular stylistic techniques are becoming dominant writing strategies for an entire corpus of outstanding fictional texts for which previous analytical approaches become irrelevant. This is new literature that needs to be addressed and discussed in a new way. This article hypothesizes that in such novels, a new – transitive – discursive practice is taking shape. The article presents the concept of transitive literary discourse and reveals some of its common features based on the three translingual novels. These are “Austerlitz” (2001) by W. G. Sebald (Germany – UK), “Way Stations” (1999) by Vladimir Vertlib (Russia – Austria), and “Steamship to Argentina” (2014) by Alexei Makushinsky (Russia – Germany). The authors of the article combine the methods of discourse analysis, historical and theoretical poetics. Mikhail Bakhtin’s works on the aesthetics of verbal creativity provide the methodological basis of the study. The intellectual toolkit of the transnational and visual methodological turns is also engaged. The study reflects a set of topical issues of modern literary theory aimed at understanding the language of literature and art at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries (the era of globalization). В статье рассматривается религиозно-метафизическое основание мира, опираясь на которое Платонов создает образ нового человека. При осмыслении данного мифа обнаруживается, что образотворчество автора «Чевенгура» определяется не только достижениями точных наук, а их «встраиванием» в духовные «практики», в частности, мистерии о Софии-Премудрости. Идея спасения мира трансцендентной любовью прослеживается с учетом трудов предшественников, рассматривавших публицистические статьи, ранние рассказы, поэзию писателя. Показывается функция космогонического первообраза в авторском конструировании Софьи Александровны Мандровой – главной героини романа «Чевенгур». Теоретическим основанием исследования являются работы В. И. Тюпы об археосюжете и Г. М. Ибатуллиной, где обосновано более широкое толкование этого понятия. Соотнесенность Софии-Премудрости, наиболее полно представленной в религиозно-философских трудах С. Н. Булгакова, П. А. Флоренского, С. С. Аверинцева, с образом Софьи Александровны позволила увидеть символическое воплощение знаков софийного света в платоновской героине. Ей, как и ее Небесному прототипу, присущ демиургизм: в персонажной системе романа героиня является «прочей» – «брошенной матерью на месте рождения», то есть человеком «сделавшим себя». Отражением софийных лучей в ее образе становится духовная уникальность, позволяющая понимать души других людей и приходить им на помощь, а также «редкая гордость», органично «вплетенная» в ее женственность. Мерцание данных черт свидетельствует о гносеологическом смысле образа героини. Она олицетворяет собою Советскую Россию, выражает интенцию к ее Преображению, о чем отчетливо говорит притчевый контекст эпизода. В метафизическом плане образ реального мира еще очень удален от Божественного замысла о нем. Символически это выражено еще одним «ликом» Софьи Александровны – «страдающим». Как и ее Небесная покровительница, героиня ждет Спасителя, но ни один из героев им не становится.
