One of its fields of application is e-learning, it can be used to create applications for educational purposes, instructive and illustrative in the field of education and in particular to enable a distant teacher to do real time synchronous illustrations. In this paper, we propose a 3D pattern that is a dodecahedron whose faces are markers of the ARToolkit library that are black square with a motif on the inside. This pattern has the advantage of being more robust to the orientation change and allows a distant teacher in e-learning to enhance it with 3D virtual objects.","PeriodicalId":398065,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Education and e-Learning Innovations","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129554076","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

And try to put some solutions and recommendations that help the advancement of scientific research to resolve issues in the Sudanese society as the quantity and quality. Despite the obstacles, the movement of scientific research did not stop completely, because a number of researchers still believe in the inevitability of continued scientific research to benefit the maximum of what is available (and the efforts of individual) to attain the objectives of development, prosperity and keep pace with scientific development. The reality, which must be viewed seriously and considering it is that scientific research has become a pedestal only to build a modern state in today's world, and became the backbone for all plans developed nations and even developing countries. And enter the world in the era of World Trade Organisation (WTO) and intellectual property Guanyin and the demands of globalisation for the next century that followed, we will find ourselves irrelevant desert plant that the blood on our present situation did not change ourselves. It must employ scientific research to address the backlog of cases over the years such as the issue of poverty and human capacity development and exploitation of natural resources of the country and the fight against desertification and settling of scientific technologies for the stability of the pastoral communities, and others. The ramifications in the fields of science and technological abounded to the point where it became impossible to take in all its aspects and its subsidiaries and became to be the selection of research needed by the various communities and the selection of educational curricula have efficacious in both the vertical (specialised) or horizontal (destruction). Learners' acceptance of podcast as a learning tool remains unclear. In this study, an attempt was made to gauge the perception of students towards (a) the podcast content and design, and (b) the benefits of using podcast in language learning. We collected data from 23 indigenous (Malay) undergraduates who were learning Mandarin as a foreign language in a public university in Malaysia. The results of this study indicate that the learners showed positive perception towards using podcast as a supplementary learning tool in learning Mandarin. Further studies on the use of podcast to provide more empirical evidence that will hopefully fill the research gaps are encouraged. This article recommends that teachers investigate their students' needs and learning motivation before they produce any podcast.","PeriodicalId":398065,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Education and e-Learning Innovations","volume":"83 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115688487","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a learning organization, many public administrations and government agencies in Canada, as well as in other Western countries, have promoted knowledge brokering in order to reinforce knowledge utilization. In a similar vein, smart digital technologies, mainly Web 2.0 platforms, become increasingly a new user-friendly vehicle to identify, acquire, transform and exploit new knowledge and information. Despite the presence of more research stressing the importance of knowledge brokering, mainly in the public health sector, little is still known about knowledge brokers, their profession or their day-to-day activities, particularly in regard to their use of Web 2.0 technologies. This article goes beyond rhetoric and hermeneutic analyses on this subject to draw an empirical and factual overview of emerging practices and strategies in knowledge brokering, within government agencies. In this vein, our investigation is based on a survey developed for this purpose and carried out among a representative sampling of knowledge brokers (n=106) operating within Québec government agencies, well known for their widespread use of Web 2.0 platforms and digital innovation.","PeriodicalId":398065,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Education and e-Learning Innovations","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132626238","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although, what is way more important is the algorithm the code has to represent. Learning how to design an algorithm which resolves a given problem it is not easy. In this paper, we propose a formative-diagnostic assessment approach which helps students on acquiring problem-solving skills that enable them to cope with problems and to design more efficient and elegant solutions. Aside from the fact that this approach brings a solution for delicate problem of e-assessment of algorithmic skills, in addition it is formative aiming at strengthening algorithmic competencies. Drawing inspiration from the basic principles of the algorithms field itself, it is based on using known components called: Basic Operations which are organized in a library. For modeling, solutions of each problem are regrouped in a bunch and each solution is represented by a plan which is the canonical representation of a program in an approach of program understanding. The purpose of this approach is to provide a formative and diagnostic assessment in order to empower the learner to acquire algorithmic problem-solving skills. Even if it has been conceived for algorithmic competencies assessment, this approach can easily be adapted to any field to assess its know-how.","PeriodicalId":398065,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Education and e-Learning Innovations","volume":"97 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116838474","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
