The Ministry of Education asks the teachers and students to use online classes during the pandemic. Teaching English using ICT is a challenging condition for teachers. Not all teachers are familiar with ICT. This paper aims to describe the ICT Role and implementation in Teaching English during the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: this is a literature review. Literature was searched in Science Direct and Google Scholar databases. Keywords were COVID-19, English Teaching, ICT, implementation, role. Results revealed that ICT in English Teaching is started from CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning), TELL (Technology-Enhanced Language Learners), LMS (Learning Management System), and blended learning. YouTube and WhatsApp are preferred to be done because it is practical. Performance-based assessment is important during teaching English subject because students can learn how to perform, speaking, and debating during the performance. In conclusion, there are many systems available for teaching English using ICT. The systems are CALL, TELL, LMS, blended, WhatsApp, YouTube, and Performance-Based Assessment. The main goal is students’ understanding of the English subjects. Metode dari penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Media ini bermanfaat bagi peserta didik dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar mereka, merubah tingkah laku, memberikan motivasi baru dan penyegaran, memberikan pelajaran yang bermakna, memperluas pengalaman dan wawasan, serta tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran menyimak Arab, juga mempersiapkan mereka dalam menghadapi era revolusi industry 4.0. Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya penerapan model flipped classroom dalam pembelajaran ketrampilan membaca dengan acuan indicator yang harus dikuasai. Dengan model ini siswa mampu memahami teks bacaan dengan tepat, mampu menerjemahkan teks bacaan, dan mampu menceritakan ulang dengan bahasanya sendiri. The current learning process seems like a teacher filling an empty glass, or like a mother feeding her child food. The theory of learning humanism arises with the aim that learners can become responsible individuals, attentive to their environment, and have emotional and spiritual maturity. This article is a literature study and uses qualitative descriptive methods and tries to examine the theory of humanism learning and its implications in Arabic language learning. The results showed that humanism learning theory can be applied by formulating clear learning objectives, working on the active participation of learners, encouraging learners to think critically and dare to express opinions, and how a teacher in the learning process tries to understand the learner's way of thinking and give them an opportunity. Pemahaman kosakata tidak hanya tergantung pada terjemahan secara langsung akan tetapi membutuhkan pengilustrasian gambar agar pemahaman siswa semakin mudah, khususnya siswa yang baru mengenal Bahasa Arab. Media bantu berupa kamus diharap dapat membantu siswa mampu belajar secara mandiri. \u0000Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) Mengembangkan kamus bergambar Bahasa Arab untuk Siswa kelas I, II, III Madrasah Ibtidaiyah dan, (2) Mendeskripsikan kelayakan produk pengembangan kamus bergambar Bahasa Arab Untuk siswa kelas I, II, III Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sunan Kalijogo. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengacu pada model model R&D menurut Borg and Gall. Subjek uji coba produk dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas I, II, III Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sunan Kalijogo Malang. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Sumber data yang diperoleh peneliti adalah (1) ahli media, (2) ahli materi, (3) guru pengajar Bahasa Arabdan (4) siswa kelas I, II, III Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sunan Kalijogo Malang. \u0000Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) kamus Bergambar Bahasa Arab yang berjudul “Kamus Bergambar Bahasa Arab untuk Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Kelas I, II, III” terdiri dari 23 bab yang telah di kelompokkan menurut tema dan juga kelas, serta kamus ini dilengkapi dengan kata mutiara yang memotivasi siswa dalam belajar dan (2) kelayakan kamus bergambar Bahasa Arab untuk Kelas I, II, III Madrasah Ibtidaiyah ini dinyatakan valid atau layak dengan rata – rata persentase sebesar 86,35% dari ahli media, ahli materi, guru, dan siswa. \u0000Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat dikemukakan beberapa saran, yaitu: (1) siswa, diharapkan dapat menjadikan Kamus Bergambar Bahasa Arab ini sebagai alat bantu dalam memudahkan memahami kosakata – kosakata Bahasa Arab. This study aims to describe the status and role of the MAN 2 Kudus Arabic teachers in the community, explore their arguments and subjective responses from various surrounding community clusters. This research is a case study with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of this study stated: 1) All Arabic teachers in MAN 2 Kudus had social status and roles that penetrated several social fields, including medicine, organizational leadership, and spiritual counseling; 2) the relevance of the status and role of teachers in madrasas with within the community concerns three categories, indigenous Arabic teachers and migrants. Second, Arabic teachers graduated from Arabic Education (PBA) and non-PBA graduates. Third, senior and junior Arabic teachers; 3) The views of community institutions, religious leaders, madrassas, and ordinary people, related to the social status and role, First, Arabic teachers are not identical with guru agama. Thariqah Mubasyaroh termasuk cara yang banyak diterapkan dalam sistem belajar berbahasa arab. Thariqah Mubasyaroh adalah cara yang diterapkan ketika menyampaikan pembelajaran bahasa asing, seorang pengajar secara langsung memakainya di dalam pengantar dan tidak memakai bahasa peserta didiknya ketika pembelajaran berlangsung. Terkait persoalan utama, hasil dan pembahasan bisa disimpulkan: Setelah melewati beberapa langkah analisis tentang Pengaruh Thariqah Mubasyaroh terhadap kemampuan berbahasa Arab Siswa Ponpes Modern Daaru Ulil Albaab Tegal, bisa diambil kesimpulan berupa: (1)Thariqah Mubasyaroh dalam pembelajaran berbahasa Arab di Ponpes Modern Daaru Ulil Albaab Tegal, berdasarkan hasil yang telah diuji dalam penelitian ini melalui hasil wawancara dan angket, dimana diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 49,47 yang berada pada interval 49-52 sehingga dapat diketahui bahwa penerapan Thariqah Mubasyaroh termasuk dalam kategori “Baik”. Kategori ini didasarkan pada pembagian klasifikasi kelas (interval) yang diperoleh dari data hasil angket pada variabel independen (X). (2) Keahlian berbahasa Arab siswa Ponpes Modern Daaru Ulil Albaab Tegal yang dilihat dari nilai Raport diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 85,15 yang berada pada interval 84-85 sehingga menunjukkan penguasaan berbahasa Arab santri berada termasuk kategori “Cukup Baik”.Kategori ini didasarkan pada pembagian klasifikasi kelas (interval) yang diperoleh dari data hasil dokumentasi pada variabel dependen (Y). (3) Berdasarkan uji hipotesis, bahwa antara Thariqah Mubasyaroh dengan kemampuan bahasa Arab Santri memiliki pengaruh “Rendah” dimana rhitung> rtabel, dengan menggunakan rumus r productmoment yakni rxy = 0,375 > rtabel = 0,312 pada taraf signifikan 5%, kemudian diinterpretasikan dengan Tabel Interpretasi Nilasi rxy = 0,375 berada pada rentang Nilai r= 0,200-0,400 yang termasuk dalam kategori Rendah. Sedangkan Thariqah Mubasyaroh memiliki pengaruh positif terkait penguasaan berbahasa arab siswa Ponpes Modern Daaru Ulil Albaab Tegal, yang ditunjukkan dengan Pengaruh Thariqah Mubasyaroh terhadap kemampuan bahasa Arab santri sebesar r square 0,141 atau 14,1%, dimana nilai signifikansinya 0,017 kurang dari signifikansinya 0,05. This research is a descriptive qualitative study. Data sources are learning curriculum, learning process, and students. The research instruments are observation and interview. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative data analysis, namely data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing.
