Authentic Assessment is a unit that will be the point of discussion in this article. How Authentic Assessment has big influences for understanding and perception of the prospective teacher. Authentic Assessment is an important thing that prospective teacher should understand. This study involves 10 respondents who were students of the 5th semester of English Language Education Program at Universitas Ibn Khaldun. The purpose of this study is to help prospective teacher understanding and prepare about Authentic Assessment. To collect the data the researchers follow some stages, namely filling out the questionnaires, interview, and observation. From the qualitative method, the researcher reported that the respondents’ responses are very diverse. Past simple itself is oneof the necessary yet problematic tenses for learners. The research employed was quasi-experimental pretest-post-test design was employed in this research. Thepopulation of this study was five classes of the first grade students of senior highschool. Due to the high number of the population, this research only used twoclasses as the sampling - one class as the experimental group and the other oneas the control group. This research was carried out through four stages namelypretest, treatment implementation, post-test and data analysis. The result of thedata analysis showed that ‘Because You Loved Me’ song is effective for teachingpast simple. The value of t-test was higher than the t-table. The result of t-test formula was 1.91, and the t-table was 1.67. They use language varieties in supportingtheir expectations. This study Psychosociosemantically aims to elaborate propernames of IAIN (The State Islamic Institute) Surakarta. The problems of this studyare how are Psychosociosemantically the comprehension and reasons of givingthe proper names? And how are the formation of proper names? The method is a descriptive qualitative study. The writer conducts some descriptions in collecting the data, analyzing the data and getting some conclusions. The result of thestudy informs that in creating the proper names especially for students of IAINSurakarta, there is certain expectation and reason. Proper name is adopted fromthe name of certain people or character and created from certain event. Besides, itis also created from certain time (temporal) and certain place (spatial). The writerconcludes also that proper names are inspired from literary works title (especiallysongs title), kinds of profession, birth sequence, certain word formation, andfamily names. Namun,terkadang bahasa yang sering mereka gunakan dalam berkomunikasi tidak sesuaidengan penggunaan prinsip kerja sama. Namun, tidak menutup kemungkinanbahwa bahasa yang digunakan juga menganut prinsip kerja sama. Penggunaanprinsip kerja sama dalam berkomunikasi bertujuan agar proses komunikasiberjalan dengan lancar. Penelitian yang dilakukan di MAN 1 Surakarta inibertujuan menganalisis bentuk kepatuhan dan pelanggaran prinsip kerja samadalam komunikasi antara siswa dan guru. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitianini adalah menggunakan teori Grice yang menyebutkan 4 prinsip kerja sama,termasuk maksim kuantitas, kualitas, relevansi dan cara. Penelitian ini termasukdalam penelitian kualitatif, dimana teknik pengumpulan data menggunakanmetode membaca dilengkapi dengan teknik sadap, kemudian dilanjutkandengan teknik mencatat dan merekam. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian inimenggunakan teknik analisis data terbuka. Learning Steps to the Book\"Al-Muhadasah Wa Muthala'ah Al-Arabiyah Juz Awwal\" the teacher greets,remembering the students last lesson, giving new teaching material, the teacherreading the Muhadasah text and the students practiced the Muhadasah text thestudents were allowed to ask about the difficult mufrodat, the students translatedthe muhadasah text according to their abilities, then the teacher interpreted thewhole of the Muhadasah text. then the teacher gives training about sometimesthe teacher gives Arabic language games, the teacher tells students to memorize the muhadasah text and tells them to have two or two in front of the class, at the end of the lesson the teacher gives advice and motivation. 2. There are twopositive factors in the Learning of the Book \"Al-Muhadasah Wa Muthala'ahAl-Arabiyah Juz Awwal\" namely internal and external factors, internal factorsnamely: provisional teachers, the use of learning methodologies and appropriateteaching materials, students are eager to learn. Keempat keterampilan berbahasa tersebut adalah: menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Para siswa ini memahami bahwa bahasa Arab merupakan media dan kunci untuk memahami sumber (Quran dan Hadits) dan referensi Arab. Dalam pembelajaran terdapat beberapa unsur yaitu; guru, siswa, metode, materi, strategi, tujuan pembelajaran, sarana. Unsur-unsur tersebut semuanya saling mengaitkan antara yang satu dengan yang lainnya. \u0000Dalam artikel ini, penulis berfokus pada strategi pembelajaran muhadatsah. Seperti yang diketahui bersama bahwa, pembelajaran muhadatsah bukan merupakan proses pembelajaran yang mudah, oleh karena itu penggunaan srategi yang tepat sangat dibutuhkan, karena banyak ahli yang menyatakan bahwa keberhasilan pembelajaran itu tregantung dengan strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan. Hal tersebut tidak berarti bahwa guru dibatasi untuk menggunakan strategi dalam mempelajari percakapan akan tetapi guru dapat menggunakan strategi yang tepat dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, identifikasi dan beberapa strategi dan percobaan pada strategi pendalaman sangat penting untuk membandingkan dan memilih strategi yang paling tepat untuk digunakan dalam semua mata pelajaran dan situasi tertentu. \u0000Penggunaan strategi yang tepat dalam pembelajaran muhadatsah adalah elemen penting bagi guru untuk mencapai keberhasilan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik simak dan catat kemudian dianalisis menggunakan triangulasi teori.
