This perception has been inherited from generation to generation making transvestites as people marginalized in society. The study wants to answer academic anxiety about how the religiousity of transsexual beauty salons worker in the city of Padang. The study used a qualitative research method, in which the collected data to rely on in-depth interviews as well as continuous observation so get data that can be accounted for by an academic. However, during his lifetime, she never played a considerable role, ranging from establishing institutions education, take care of socio-religious organization, and take part in politics. Although she lived in the Perti, a socio-religious community, but she was not an exclusive and isolated from various things. The presence of Islam which was brought by Muhammad the messenger was to elevate woman position in society. While observing some fiqh books, it is found that the books have masculine nuance and have more alignments on man side. In particular, it is not found any chapters that discuss about woman. That is an interesting commentary on gender bias in fiqh discourse. The study found that political literacy in men and women in Solok, West Sumatra fairly evenly. This is evident from the results of the study showthe level of political literacy of citizens Solok high at 71.6%, with the necessary political information indicators and strategies seek political information. However, this place benefit could not be obtained by every moslem, for example menstruating women. There are some verses in Islamic teach that bans for menstruating women to have activities at the mosque that implicitly says that these women are not able to do any activities at the mosque. Through varied media images can affirm that dominates female student learning outcomes as compared to male students, either in the process or the final value.
