The goal is to identify whether this new pedagogy can enhance students’ design and innovation capability to meet the new pedagogical requirements brought by the China’s new “Made-in-China 2025” industrialization plan, as well as the underlying factors behind the technologies. The research was conducted based on the students from the Electronic Information Engineering (EIE) major of Minjiang university participating the capstone project. Two issues will be investigated in this paper: what are the most popular marked themes and which ones are overused and misused. Multiple case studies approach will be used to analyze the data, which are student writings in WKU according to optimism [5] and SFL theory [4] will be used for analysis. This study has found that the most popular marked theme in WKU is “however”, which is misused most frequently at the same time. This study provides a new perspective to observe academic writings in Sino-foreign universities in China. The results show that Japanese national culture has been integrated with corporate culture. The concept of \"family-based\", people-oriented idea, traditional thrift concept and loyalty spirit contained in national culture are embodied in corporate culture and can be transformed into different mechanisms. Based on the discussion on the influence of Japanese national culture on corporate culture, the results are as expected.
