This paper reviews the \u0000literature to extract the relationship between leagile attributes and SC drivers to estimate total \u0000supply chain value (TSCV). As a result, three leagile attributes efficiency & flexibility (E&F), \u0000decoupling point (DP) and virtual network (VN) along with four main SC drivers consisting of \u0000production, distribution, inventory and information have been deployed. Effects of leagile attributes \u0000to the SC drivers are evaluated to measure TSCV using four performance metrics i.e., cost, quality, \u0000service and lead time. Thus, many companies are rushing to the DevOps movement. DevOps is the combination of Development and Operations and a new way of thinking in the software engineering domain. However, no common understanding of what it means has yet been achieved. Also, no adoption models or fine-grained maturity models to assist DevOps maturation and implementation were identified. Therefore, this research attempt to fill these gaps. A systematic literature review is performed to identify the determining factors contributing to the implementation of DevOps, including the main capabilities and areas with which it evolves. Then, two sets of interviews with DevOps experts were performed and their experience used to build the DevOps Maturity Model. The DevOps maturity model was then developed grounded on scientific and professional viewpoints. Once developed the Maturity Model was demonstrated in a real organisation.","PeriodicalId":38028,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Agile Systems and Management","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48877794","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The findings revealed that strategic agility is crucial for private higher education institutions (HEIs) as it was found to significantly influence organisational performance. In order to acquire strategic agility, these institutions should develop the three critical factors of technology, organisational capabilities, and people. In the case of technology, private HEIs need to be cautious, as new technology adoption could be affected by different organisational types of private HEIs. This study is original due to the potential adaptive agile manufacturing concepts and the resource combination of critical factors that are rarely examined under the private higher education context in Malaysia. Furthermore, knowing the importance of strategic agility enables practitioners to optimise the right resource combination to achieve organisational performance and sustain their business in the future.","PeriodicalId":38028,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Agile Systems and Management","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42448447","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this regard, Business process management systems (BPMS) may be considered the best tool for this purpose since it helps users to coordinate and automate critical processes such as cargo manifests, customs declaration the management of scales, or dangerous goods, traditionally supported by EDI technologies. The aim of this work is to demonstrate, through a systematic analysis of the literature, the state of the art in BPMS research in the port industry. For this, a systematic review of the literature of the last ten years was carried out. The works generated by the search were subsequently analysed and filtered. After the investigation, it is discovered that the relationship between BPMS and the port sector is practically non-existent which represents an important gap to be covered and a future line of research.","PeriodicalId":38028,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Agile Systems and Management","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.1504/ijasm.2020.109245","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49200681","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Risk event management has become strategic in project management, where uncertainties are inevitable. In this sense, the use of concepts of ubiquitous computing, such as contexts, context histories, and mobile computing can assist in proactive project management. This paper proposes a computational model to the reduction of the probability of project failure through the prediction of risks. The aim of the study is showing a model to assist teams to identify and monitor risks at different points in the life cycle of projects. This research was conducting a case study containing five projects in execution to evaluate the risk recommendations. For history, a database with 153 projects was used for a financial company. The recommendations were evaluated by a project team composed of 9 professionals, obtaining a result of 72% acceptance.","PeriodicalId":38028,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Agile Systems and Management","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47078239","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, quantitative research was carried out by collecting random sample data from 276 respondents working in Indonesian halal meat industries and suppliers. Inter-correlation analysis using SmartPLS is used to determine the extent to which employees' readiness to adopt technology in halal meat retailing and manufacturing industries, as well as the quality of halal service suppliers, affects the performance of halal logistics. The results of this study indicate that the performance of halal logistics is significantly influenced by the readiness of the use of technology in the retail halal meat industry and the quality of halal service suppliers. Meanwhile, the moderate influence occurs in the relationship between the technology readiness in the halal meat manufacturing sector and the performance of halal logistics.","PeriodicalId":38028,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Agile Systems and Management","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44978775","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed approach is based on problems that might occur in everyday life. This paper discusses the approach in determining the efficiency and super efficiency ratings of a decision making unit (DMU) in the DEA model with stochastic data. In determining efficiency, SDEA is first transformed into an equivalent deterministic DEA by changing its chance constraints in such a way that the SDEA problem can be solved easily. The author proposes an approach technique called a sample median approximation (SMA) to change the chance constraints so that it will be easy to get the optimal solution in determining the efficiency of DMUs. In the process, the data to be processed first is determined by the median average which will later be considered to represent the actual sample average. As a numerical example, the author resolves the vendor selection problem as presented by Wu and Olson (2006) in their paper. By taking the same parameter value (α = 0.2 and beta = 0.9), the efficiency score and super efficiency of the problem are obtained.","PeriodicalId":38028,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Agile Systems and Management","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46595155","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study presents a method to affirm how the social sustainability of a company also passes through the protection of the welfare of the worker and describes a case study focused on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The method considers different aspects including the characteristics of the worker/s, the working context, and the content of the work activity. According to the objectives of social sustainability in the factory environment multifactorial variables related to the workers wellbeing have been defined. IoT system and ad-hoc questionnaires can be used to collect such variables. Following the proposed method, the results of the case study offer many in-depth insights, from the objective analysis of personal characteristics to the organisation of work, and from the application of international standards to the evaluation of psychological parameters.","PeriodicalId":38028,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Agile Systems and Management","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41627480","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
